  1. Floating "quick tool" menu and "All Tools" panel disappear

    On Mac, ctrl-cmd-H is used to highlight text. But when I accidentally typed that sequence in Acrobat, it made both the "quick tool" floating menu AND the "All Tools" panel vanish. Since I didn't know what I'd done to make them vanish, I had no way to bring them back: there is no item anywhere in the Acrobat menu that allows that.

    Fortunately restarting the Acrobat app makes the floating menu reappear. I finally worked out how I was making it vanish and realized that typing ctrl-cmd-H would bring it back. But there should be an option under…

  2. Remove tools sidebar selector, or make it an option, or an option to move it to the top or the bottom

    The tool sidebar is too close to the scroll bar, and make it difficult to use and select the scroll bar, which is almost always used. Make the position and/or the visibility of the tools sidebar a preference, since this redundant control is available using many other existing ways. This is the must frustrating, duplicative, and unusually located user control I have seen in many years.

  3. Need full suite of editing tools in Adobe Acrobat DC

    When sending a sharable pdf document to several people so they can edit it we need to have access to all editing tools. Currently, when you open a regular pdf, there are 13 editing tools available. When you open the cloud-based sharable document, there are only 5 tools. We used to be able to have a shareable pdf AND access to all tools but no longer.

  4. QUIT CHANGING MY PINNED TOOLS in ACROBAT DC

    Periodically, Adobe lets you know of what they think are wonderful ideas, but they do so by rebuilding my pinned tools list.....so I have to go and select MY tools AGAIN. This is the fourth for fifth time in six months and I am really getting sick of it. Who gave you the right to adjust what tool items I have pinned. You know, the ones I know I use....not the one some marketing A-Hole can only think (hope) I use. Absolutely a pain in the butt.

  7. Bug - Quick Tools Rotate Pages

    In Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2020.013.20064, there are "Rotate Left" and "Rotate Right" buttons under "Organize Pages" that can be added to the Quick Tools. However, clicking either of those brings up the rotate pages dialog box instead of simply rotating 90 degrees left or right.

  9. Change default open screen to Tools Tab Adobe DC Pro

    Change default open screen to Tools Tab Adobe DC Pro.

    I would like to be able to open Adobe DC Pro and it already be on the Tools tab instead of the Home tab.

    I think this could be accomplished by having this as setting to give users a choice.

  11. Top of Acrobat DC Home should be most frequently used tools

    The "Recommended Tools For You" section at the top of the Acrobat DC home screen may be of good use for rank beginners, but for those of us who use the program every day, for specific purposes, would be better served by the top portion of the home screen having our most frequently used tools instead. I use two tools every day, but only one is accessible in the "Recommended tools" section, and only if I have the Acrobat window widened to the width of the screen. Go ahead and populate the area with your suggestions for newbies, but…

    The left side of the Navigation Pane won't open with a click of the arrow. It used to, but something happened to the installation. I reinstalled with the latest version, but it still doesn't work correctly.

  13. Action does not open from quick tools shortcut

    Action does not open from quick tools shortcut until the "Action Wizard" tool is opened. Previous versions openened the pinned action in the side panel without the need to then also open the "Action Wizard" tool. It makes a mockery of having shortcut of the action in the first place!

  14. Tools that work seamlessly between each other

    Tools that seamlessly work and are the same between all programs. Copy and paste from illustrator to indesign. Copy type style in indesign like how it works in illustrator.

  15. Option to Hide Bookmarks Panel for all PDFs

    Using: Acrobat Pro DC

    Request: Ability to set a global setting that hides the bookmarks panel whenever a new PDF is opened, as opposed to having to navigate to the initial view settings for each file and then save it.

    Reason: I open a lot of PDF files from emails, as I'm sure thousands of other people do, with no intention of saving it in that instance. Or files from the internet, again with no intention of saving it. This is to VIEW the file and find content relevant to the task in hand. Having the bookmarks pane…

  16. Make commenting tools active for more than one use

    Allow me to use commenting tools multiple times without having to choose them again (and again, and again). Perhaps a double click to make the tool active until a single click turns it off. At the present time the pencil tool is the only one that stays active once it is selected.

  17. Hide or Disable Prefill Role

    The Prefill role is currently always visible during document preparation. We would like the option to hide or disable this role. This may cause issues because users may accidentally select the service account and apply a field template to it, which can disrupt the intended workflow.

    Allow the toolbar to expand and minimize (hide the toolbar) to maximize the working area. As of right now there is no way to make the toolbar section smaller or to hide it. When trying to make the toolbar smaller it exits out of the tool being used for the PDF and it will only work if the toolbar stays open. It would be beneficial to have more workspace than to have 1/4 of the screen taken up by the tool bar.

  20. Request: Option to lock Quick Tools (disable drag reordering)

    Requesting an option to disable drag reordering Quick Tools, maybe in the right click menu or Customize Quick Tools window. With a stylus it's way too easy to accidentally reorder Quick Tools while trying to select a tool.
