  1. After the most recent update a few days ago, there are 4 tabs at the top: All tools, Edit, Convert, and Sign.

When I click on the Edit tab, the right hand menu area is blank. No edit tools are displayed.

I have added the "Add text" feature to the floating shortcuts tool bar that came with the update. However, when I click it to add text, the left hand area is blank with none of the options to do things like select font size displayed, and I can't add these to the shortcuts bar, so most features are…

  2. Currently you have to scroll the tools panel to see long form field names. It would be more user friendly to be able to see the whole name.

  3. The "Recommended Tools For You" section at the top of the Acrobat DC home screen may be of good use for rank beginners, but for those of us who use the program every day, for specific purposes, would be better served by the top portion of the home screen having our most frequently used tools instead. I use two tools every day, but only one is accessible in the "Recommended tools" section, and only if I have the Acrobat window widened to the width of the screen. Go ahead and populate the area with your suggestions for newbies, but…

  4. Action does not open from quick tools shortcut until the "Action Wizard" tool is opened. Previous versions openened the pinned action in the side panel without the need to then also open the "Action Wizard" tool. It makes a mockery of having shortcut of the action in the first place!

    Hello Wayne

You can just add the more frequently tools to the Quick Tools on top. Alternately you can just search for the tool you need in the Search box in Right Hand Panel.

Please let us know if this helps.

  6. Requesting an option to disable drag reordering Quick Tools, maybe in the right click menu or Customize Quick Tools window. With a stylus it's way too easy to accidentally reorder Quick Tools while trying to select a tool.

  8. Reverting the menu settings for the TOOLS to the users settings after an update.

-should be done as part of each update.
-put as an obvious option when exiting any setup of tools in the menu system to backup the registry somewhere as i have just now been advised of. really not a good option.

want a reason for this, arrange for more feedback with me.

  9. I need the editing tools that have disappeared (strikethrough, text boxes with arrows, etc). These are essential for copy editors and reviewers and they were the reason I bought this program (Acrobat Pr). It is pretty useless to me without these tools!

  11. There should be a default setting to hide pages and bookmarks when I open a document. I don't use the functions and don't find them useful. I shouldn't need to close these panels every time I open a document. I don't care what the document properties are.

  12. Allow the toolbar to expand and minimize (hide the toolbar) to maximize the working area. As of right now there is no way to make the toolbar section smaller or to hide it. When trying to make the toolbar smaller it exits out of the tool being used for the PDF and it will only work if the toolbar stays open. It would be beneficial to have more workspace than to have 1/4 of the screen taken up by the tool bar.

  13. The left side of the Navigation Pane won't open with a click of the arrow. It used to, but something happened to the installation. I reinstalled with the latest version, but it still doesn't work correctly.

  14. Using: Acrobat Pro DC

Request: Ability to set a global setting that hides the bookmarks panel whenever a new PDF is opened, as opposed to having to navigate to the initial view settings for each file and then save it.

Reason: I open a lot of PDF files from emails, as I'm sure thousands of other people do, with no intention of saving it in that instance. Or files from the internet, again with no intention of saving it. This is to VIEW the file and find content relevant to the task in hand. Having the bookmarks pane

  15. Having the ability to zoom in and out of the document within the preview pane is very helpful. It increases productivity as I am able to see a specific detail of the document quickly without having to open the document.

In conjunction with another posted suggestion the ability to rename the file goes hand in hand for viewing the document vs having to open the file, close it, then rename it.

This feature is available in various other programs and I'm very surprised to find that Adobe has not engineered this feature as well.

    Thank you for your consideration.

Pdf while creating and display/ readinding and internal link pdf because day by day content, information, notes and books are shifting from paper to mainly in pdf format.
This feature is mainly require when we solve self mcq /objective question etc.
This will work like that hide show option in web page.

  18. After Acrobat updated to 2019.008.20071, my Enfocus Pitstop Tools have disappeared. I have tried uninstalling/re-installing both Acrobat and Pitstop. With no change. I have checked for an update to Acrobat but get a message that 20071 is the latest version. Enfocus says the problem is in Acrobat.

When can i expect a fix for this. I need these tools in order to be able to work with my customers. Thanks

  19. Return Menu Tools to the Side where they belong. They are next to useless now. Put actual menu items under the menu drop-downs instead of extra steps to open what should be a drop-down. Sorry - I hate the new look. Hate it. I should not have to navigate away from a page I'm working on in order to get to tools. I should not have to spend half an hour to discover you apparently no longer have this option. Security tools, if still in existence, should be obvious.
