Save form option when emailing
When taking a form and editing it or whatever you want and then you go to email it I shouldnt be forced to save the form before emailing it. Me personally I dont need a copy of the form, I just want to email it like you used to be able to do on the old version before the update.

Text Recognition / Edit
Older versions (prior to text recognition) allowed you to type onto a pdf and edit it later without any interference. The new DC software while still allowing you to type and edit more than often enough recognizes the original text of the document making it editable and causing tons of interference with the user entered text. There should be a feature which locks text recognition and doesnt allow the editing tool to recognize the base document script which will allow for easy editing if you have to save and come back to a document and make changes.

Bug – Adobe Acrobat Sign Text Tags not Working
I worked with your support group for 30 minutes to get to the bottom of this and here's what we determined. When using Text Tags in MS Word, Adobe Sign will not recognize or utilize them when documents are submitted for signature from either Adobe App or Adobe Cloud. In order to get them to work, you must do these two things:
1) Click on your Account, Settings, and then Uncheck "Use the latest version of Request e-signatures" and "Disable form field detection." Doing this on its own did Not solve the problem.
2) From within the Adobe Acrobat App,…

Change Defaults in Prepare Forms
During the process of preparing a fillable form from a template, there are certain style attributes that have to be changed to meet my personal style preferences (e.g. font, check-box/radio-box options, form field attributes, and so on).
Performing these changes on simple forms is not a difficult task but, when dealing with an extensive (e.g. multi-page, multi-field type form) template, this process can be pain-stakeingly tedious and result in lack of continuity.
A feature which would allow the user to change the defaults in the Prepare Form feature so that the fillable form would be…

Adobe Sign Multiple Field Reassignment en masse
Adobe Sign should allow you to reassign multiple fields at once. As it is now, it automatically imports fields on a form assigned to "Anyone". In order to reassign the fields to a specific person or to "Prefill" before sending, you must go field by field and change each one. Being able to reassign en masse would be a huge time saver. Also, other options like marking fields as required en masse would help as well.

Bug in DC editing Form Fields 1 page at a time - this feature was fully functional in Adobe Pro Xi
Editing Form Fields.
In previous versions of Adobe Pro 9, 10 & 11 it was possible to edit Form Fields 1 page at a time by:
selecting and highlighting 1 field,
then right click to Select All,
then successfully edit all fields on just that 1 page
Then save. This does not work in Adobe DC. When same steps are followed Adobe selects EVERY field in Form on EVERY page (very slowly). When Field Properties are edited Program then freezes each time you try to save.
Please Adobe RESTORE same 1 page Form Field editing to…

Inability to properly allign and spread text labels with text fields is a simple user requirement.
The hefty subscription price for Adobe Acrobat Pro DC is very soon realized when you discover how many hours you have to spend (and the money lost in that time) to redo text labels because that persistently group together in awkward ways and are of no help when trying to align form objects. How do you provide the ability to align and spread properly for text fields, but not text labels? This is old tech that is just slapped onto newer products. But who cares...

Cannot Combine PDF Fillable Field Forms with Same Fillable Field Names
I am trying to combine multiple template PDFs that have fillable fields. These fillable fields have unique information in each PDF document. Since this is a template document, the fillable fields are the same name. When combining the PDFs, the data from page 2 onwards gets overwritten by the data that was entered in the first document. Refer to case # ADB-29950592-T4D3. Customers should be able to combine PDF forms that have identical field names in the forms.
Also, customers should be able to "Request e-signatures" with Adobe Portfolio files.

Change form fields types
It would be very useful to be able to change the form types from one to another without delete them.

Stop showing all text boxes when adding text
Previously, when adding text, you could click anywhere and add the text. Now, with the "improved" adobe, when you select add text, it shows all text fields so if you need to add text within a paragraph (like when adding details to blank lines in contracts) you have to add to the side and drag and drop. It has more then doubled the amount of time I take to do my contracts and waivers now.
Just revert back to when adding text you can just click to type anywhere and its not showing every single text…

can't paste text into comment window
Cannot paste text into Comment field as of 10/25/25. I used to be able to paste text into the Comment field. I tried switching back to the classic Acrobat (disable New Acrobat) an restarted my computer, but that did not fix the problem.

One time edit on multiple text fields / other fields Properties
I would like to request for multiple fields edits in one go.
I use InDesign to create digital forms. After exporting the work, I opened the PDF in Acrobat. In my example, I have 4 rows of Date of Birth. I usually edit the DoB to custom dd/mm/yyyy. Acrobat as it is today, only allows me to edit the field one cell at a time which in my case I have to edit 4 times. Imagine if I have a table with 20 date of birth cells. That's 20 edits!!
I would like the ability to select all…

Arabic doesn't export well to .csv from the response collection window - bug
I created a form in Acrobat DC Pro, distributed and collected the form successfully. In the collection window, Any field filled up in Arabic shows up properly – see screenshot (Collected-results-with-Arabic.jpg).
However when I export all results to .csv format so I can compare all results, any Arabic text will display as dots – see screenshot (arabic-in-excel.jpg)I performed all above steps on Mac and Windows using Acrobat Pro DC 15.23.20056.213124 with similar results
Arabic text should be readable in the exported .csv file
Arabic text is converted to dots upon exporting all data from the form…

Bug report: Scan & OCR>Correct recognized text: corrected text length no longer matches underlying text
1) Open the attached file in Adobe Pro DC.
2) Click on "Scan & OCR"
3) Click on "Correct recognized text"
4) Toggle on "Review recognized text"
5) In the "Recognized as" text area, change "th~" to "those"
6) Push Apply
7) Select Menu>Export a PDF>text (plain) and export a file and look at it.Notice after the correction, "those" slightly overlaps the word to the right of it and no longer matches the length of the underlying text of the image. Before the correction, there was a space between "th~" and "of", but after correction and…

Field correction
It really should be possible to modify one form field that was in error without invalidating the whole document.
If George, Becky, John, Jim, Sally, Jesse, Fred and Paul all sign a document in 8 places, and one line item in one place erroneously says George and not Becky, then it should be possible to switch George's field to Becky without all of them needing to re-sign the entire document, which is a giant annoyance and waste of time.
Because, ya know, people make mistakes.

Shortcut for 'Add Note to Text'
A shortcut – ideally a keyboard shortcut – for 'Add Note to Text' would be very helpful for the editors and proofreaders among us. To select the text, right-click and find 'Add Note to Text' is cumbersome when you're using that particular feature more than any other (the Sticky Note is much maligned by designers and reviewers alike for not being specific enough to the text to which it relates).
It would also make lots more sense in the context of the comment-as-you-type functionality for inserting or deleting text, etc. Surely it would be logical…

Acrobat and Windows High Contrast Mode: Text Appearing Invisible
Hello, I was recently filling out this W4 form on Acrobat, and had an issue where when I filled out the form in high contrast mode all of my text was inputted as white text on a white background (so it was invisible). To replicate the problem, turn on windows high contrast "night theme" (which many low vision and photosensitive users rely on). Then fill out the w4 form and print the first page. You'll find it appears to be blank as the text is white. I saw comments on this that were five years old or more and it's…
