2026 Update: Adobe, every iteration of Acrobat gets worse and worse
Offer two user interfaces for Adobe subscribers. One can be a simple interface for opening files, saving files, finding and using tools, all the important things for people who don't need all the ****.
The second user interface can be the crapware that has more garbage on it than functional features.
Who needs 60 Acrobat templates? That's what Word is for. The AI must be powered by Meta because its results are somewhere between illiterate, inaccurate or sixth grade.
I know, it's so important before the bubble explodes to have AI on everything from toilet paper to Acrobat's interface…

Why is full functionality for adobe sign not implemented on the desktop Software?
I think my title describes it fully. However, The web interface for sign has more functionality that the desktop Acrobat app. Not everything HAS to be on the Cloud~!

Old UI was Better
Basically the old Adobe Acrobat Reader UI was significantly better and it continues to get worse. I often hop from PC to PC and every time I need to reinstall Reader I have to go and hunt down the settings to change everything back. It's taxing. Obnoxious. Here are the most important key changes that I have to make every time:
The toolbar used to be docked at the top of the screen with tools like select, highlight, page navigation (back, forward, page up, page down), zoom, etc. Now it is a floating pane. I need it docked at the…

move file to dialog, is not showing my other folders besides the scan folder
I have a couple folders setup on my document cloud. Total of 3. Scans, Personal, Work.
On Acrobat DC Pro, the move file dialog only lists my scan folder, no options to move back a directory.. (Bad)
On Acrobat WEB interface, the move file dialog lists all 3 folders. (Good)
On Acrobat Mobile interface, the move file dialog allows me to move back a directory to select my other folders. (OK)*This is when trying to move a document from my scans folder to another location.

flickering text and images
After creating a pdf, the front page (built of several layers in indesign of which one is half transparent), keeps flickering on and off. I cannot present this to my client. Never had this before. This happened more often eversince the new pdf interface (not ha elpful update in my opinion). Also regular tekst sometimes flickers as I open somebody elses pdf file. I hop you can ficx all this or offer the option to go back to the older interface (which was just good).

Recognize NVIDIA high-end GPU on Dell Precision Mobile Workstations with Optimus
Acrobat DC Pro does not recognize NVIDIA high-end Workstation GPU on Optimus- enabled Dell mobile workstations. EVERY other software does, just not Adobe's. Please Fix!
We use many of these systems for Engineering and purchase many Adobe Acrobat pro for Workstations. Looking for other options due to Adobe's poor GPU performance.

Having to press 'post' instead of x on commenting
I am an editor and have to mark up PDFs using the highlight and commenting function. I used to be able to add in a comment to my highlighted text and just click out of the box using x in the top right but something has been changed and now I am required to press post each time then click the x - and when I forget to do this the previous comment appears waiting for me to press post - this has doubled the time it takes to comment and time is money for a freelancer! This is not…

Please try dumbing this down for people who don't give a **** for tech stuff. If you want call me up and I will show you how to do it.
Think amazon methodology for your solutions. I hate your interface. It is for techies who think I care about being techie when all I want is to get this stupid thing edited.

I would like to find out if I can change the interface of the program back to how it was before this so-called-upgrade. This is like learning a new program and where to find/learn what the icons mean since they're so small and the images are difficult to decipher. How is this supposed to be an upgrade???? An upgrade is suppose to improve, not cause FRUSTRATION!!!!

Adobe Sign sort users by "Member Of" and "Last Login"
Adobe Sign sort users by "Member Of" and "Last Login"
Since the update of the All Users-interface I cannot sort our users in the columns "Member Of" and "Last Login" anymore. As all new colleagues need to get their Adobe Sign-settings and group membership adjusted, I cannot find them easily any more. Please bring this feature back.
If I check from "Groups" and then look for the members of the "Default group", I cannot change the "User Group" when checking the settings of one user. Please adjust this interface.

The "Share Feedback" button looks like a comment bubble, so I expect it to open the Comment toolbar
Almost every time I try to open the Comments toolbar, I end up opening this webpage for feedback. Since that is not what I'm trying to accomplish, it seems like the user interface needs to be changed.

Photoshop export as JPG is defaulting to 96dpi and unchangeable
Prior to fall 2019 I could export a JPG file from Photoshop at the resolution specified in the print option. now as of release 21.1.1 it only exports as 96dpi. (As a work around I need to use Adobe Bridge to export the file correctly.) The current online documentation was done in 2019 and supports how I had been exporting.
I understand the export interface was standardized. This appears to be a software regression. The output resolution of a jpg file should be able to be adjusted by the user from the export interface.

"new acrobat"
The "new acrobat" doesn't seem to allow customizing the toolbar with toolbar buttons. Only "commands" can be added, not interface buttons such as Two-Page View, Single-Page Scrolling, etc. This is a major deficiency!

Language selection selection list too small (vertically) in new UI
The new user interface changes the way that language for OCR can be selected, and the vertical list is now too small to easily scroll through to find languages. It should be at least twice the current height.

version 2019 : put back active option for customise the interface, like remove the home screen when no document is open, and like display option Zoom disactive. These two options in the preferences panel do not function.
