  1. I have just installed the latest "Acrobat Standard DC", and I'm disappointed to find that still the way in which you have to personalise the "Quick Tools" area is not user friendly.
    Apart from having a mandatory set of icons on the left (I can't see an easy way of removing them), the way you have to add / remove icons is annoying - right-clicking on the quick tools bar then selecting or deselecting an item to have the menu disappear so you have to right-click and find the item again and again...!   2. From the desktop version of Adobe for Mac, I cannot save any files. Save and Save as bring up a completely black screen. I have to make roundabout efforts to save anything. It is very frustrating. Please address promptly.

  4. The highlighter tool is horrible. Sometimes it recognizes text, sometimes it doesn't. I personally want to be able to freehand highlight whenever I want, and be able to switch to text highlight if i decide to. Instead, it just chooses for me and there is no way to fix it. In the google chrome extension it works, theres an option, but on the actual desktop app there is no option. That is insane and ridiculous.

  6. I miss the feature that the Acrobat program window automatically minimized after closing the last opened PDF document. At the moment the Acrobat program window always stays open and hides the desktop.
    I know of various keyboard shortcuts like WIN + Space + N or WIN + M, but the Acrobat program window should automatically minimize itself without additional action if the last opened PDF file was closed.
    A setting in the Acrobat preferences for this behavior would also be conceivable and desirable.

  7. This issue of InDesign and Acrobat incompatibility in regards to Acrobat displaying all spans even when the Reading Order is correct has been around for over two years. We deserve to know what Adobe is doing about it.

    Acrobat Team acknowledges the problem and blames InDesign:

    "It's actually not an Acrobat issue, it's an issue with InDesign and how it's generating the Content that Acrobat is displaying correctly"

  8. Bug Report. 10/14/18 Windows 10 update 1803 broke the ability to assign adobe as the default app for .tif files. I can assign any other offered app (paint, sketch, photo). I had to do a system restore to revert back to temporarily correct this issue.

  9. New Acrobat GUI with controls on left > Scan & OCR > Correct recognized text > previously could begin typing into "Recognized as" field. Now have to click into field before beginning typing. And previously could hit "Enter" to Accept but now have to click on Accept. New GUI is much more time consuming having to use mouse. Please return putting keyboard entry control into first character of "Recognized as" field and allow Enter key to do "Accept". Thanks.

  10. User has a Citrix virtual desktop with a USB HP printer connected to a Thin Client, and redirected into the Citrix desktop using the Citrix Universal Printer.
    Prior to this version, opening a PDF and printing to that redirected printer presented no problem. On this most recent version it does with a quick "The document could not be printed" error and then it spits out a blank page.
    Ideally I'd like to get my hands on 20.005.20058 to verify this, but I cannot find the full download now. I have however installed an older version 15.*** and this prints just…

  12. The feature in Menu -> Preferences -> Documents -> "Remember the current state of Tools Pane" is broken since the last update. Users wanting only the "Adobe Acrobat Reader" functionality simply do not need the "All tools" pane! Closing it repeatedly manually significantly deteriorates our productivity. I am on version 2023.003.20284 64-bit using Windows 10. How come such features were not included in your Regression Testing?

  14. Overnight, a giant Search bar has appeared in the top right corner of the app, next to the feedback and other useless buttons, taking up very valuable screen real estate. The number of tabs I can see is literally half of what it was. Give us the option to remove this!

  17. Any time I am foolish enough to move my mouse near the bottom of an Adobe document, a little bar that says "ask AI assistant" comes up. Often, it takes some time to make it go away again.
    If I wanted to find an AI assistant, I wouldn't be looking by putting my mouse near the bottom of the page. If you must have such a doodad, put it in the menu structure with everything else so that it isn't in my way.
    Also, help information about how to get rid of "features" like this is difficult to use because…

  19. Recreate Bug:
    -Select Comment tools
    -Select Drawing tools -> Text callout -> create a callout box
    -Type any text and then click away. The comment pane will show the corresponding text for the callout box
    -Select the comment in the Comment pane, edit the text and then click Post.

    The text within the callout box will not update properly to the new edit.

  20. Where did the title bar go in Adobe Acrobat Pro? First you raise the price, then you update the program and took away the title bar. Horrible new design. Please bring back the ability of paying customers to show the title bar (File, Edit, Sign, Window, Help). Thank you.
