  3. Only US/Canada use Letter page size as a default. The rest of the world pretty much uses the ISO 216 standard - i.e. mainly A4 - yet Adobe Acrobat Pro doesn't seem to provide the ability to change the page size.

    Within Adobe Acrobat Pro we need both: (a) the ability set the default page size to A4; (b) the ability to easily change the size of an existing page to A4 (e.g. when creating a form).

  4. It would be nice if users can create and manage custom status tags. Often when I'm addressing comments I use the status tags for organizing which comments I've addressed and how I address them. I turn them on and off to keep track of which one's I've addressed. For the most part they are usually accepted or rejected, but sometimes there are some that should be addressed by someone else, some that require further clarification, some that I simply want to put on the back-burner but don't want to see when I filter out comments that have not been addressed,…

  5. The default page layout and zoom settings that I choose in the Preferences menu aren't applying to documents I open. I have it set to Single Page and Fit Page, but every time I open a document, it scrolls as if I've chosen "Single page continuous" instead. This is a waste of my time having to set it correctly every time. Fix this immediately.

  6. Good Morning.

    We have the following equipment:

    • PC with i5-10400, 8GB DDR4 and 500 GB SSD -Windows 10 Pro x64
    • Office 2019 Home and Business (licensed)
    • Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (licensed)

    When running Word 2019 an error window is displayed with the message: 'Word has problems with the pdfmaker.office add in'.

    We have tryed several operations:

    • Windows 10 updates.
    • Update Office 2019.
    • Check Office 2019 compatibility with PDFMOfficeAddin.dll plugin (v22.2.20191.0)
    • Repair Office 2019.
    • Reinstall Office 2019.
    • Check for updates Adobe Reader Pro DC (already updated)

  7. Worked fine until recently. If I try scanning, exporting or any major action it just closes. No error message. Running Win 10 Pro 1909 and Acrobat Standard 2015.006.30505. Went through all troubleshooting steps still ng.

  8. Adobe Acrobat Pro Continuous Release Version 2023.006.20360 on iMac running macOS Sonoma 14.0 will not print any PDFs. Error message is "There were no pages selected to print." User forum reports date back to 2015-2016 and don't work for me. This is a critical issue as I rely heavily on printed PDFs for many of my final products. Could it be compatitibility with Sonoma 14.0? Thank you.

  9. You automatically select that account in the google chrome profile. When multiple Chrome profiles are open, this creates an issue, and I can not choose to enter a different account. I have to close all other chrome browsers, then open only the account i want to login.

  11. Improvements for Save As... dialogue:

    • extend recent folder from 5 to ... in options (5 locations is not enough for me)
    • add Nextcloud as a cloud service provider (API's are available)
    • add an option to disable the Adobe "extra" save as... dialogue as the default Windows Shell save window has way more functionality (more bookmarks and direct access to cloud or network folders not supported by adobe.

  12. Depending on whether you're logged into Adobe account or not, there are 2 places where Auto-fill entries are saved:

    1) If you're logged in, the setting is stored in the cloud, and you use the web interface to change the preference.

    2) If you are NOT logged in when using Acrobat Reader, the Auto-fill entries are saved LOCALLY in %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\DC\Security and is controlled by Edit -> Preferences -> Forms -> Auto-Complete

    HOWEVER, Auto-Complete is usually OFF by default, hence the reason for this bug - Acrobat Reader is STILL saving Auto-fill entries on the local machine if the user…

  17. combining E Signed PDFs, You give an instruction message: Go To Settings to preserve the E-Signatures. Problem is, there is NO SETTING button or Option. Fix your message with the correct place to go. OR, How about this idea...Instead of the stupid message, give us a Box or link to click that actually IS the Settings Area or Fixes the issue you are describing.

  18. When routing multiple documents in the share/review feature with multiple people it is somewhat difficult to track the status of all documents that you originated or are reviewing. A single queue to list all documents originated or being reviewed by you that would allow you to designate status: routing, final approval (whatever designation needed). Have the queue shift things to the appropriate status when they are approved. Might even be able to change status in the queue. They can still be available if needed but would not be in the routing/proofing portion of the queue any longer. It would also…

  19. Save a copy was always an option for our form files so that we could edit/add extra type. Now when I try to do that, I still get the error message telling me to go to "file" and "save a copy," however "file" is now "menu" and there is no "save a copy." Glad I still have a typewriter in my office! Please fix this ASAP - your last update was a downgrade. :(

  20. The introduction of what I'll dub the "save helper" is one of the dumbest ideas I've ever seen implemented in a well known software. In no circumstance does it do anything than take more time since you have to open a file dialog no matter what you click - all it does is introduce another impediment to workflow.

    The best thing to do is remove this "feature" and have it actually default to where you opened the file from! You know, like software has been doing for the last 30 years?
