option to use the sent date instead of received date when converting to PDF from outlook
Currently the Adobe Acrobat add-on for Microsoft Outlook leverages the "received date" to timestamp the messages. It would be nice to have the option to use the "sent date" of the message instead for the timestamp. There are instances during email migrations where the top level received date header gets updated to the new mail system it got migrated to. When that happens, the received date changes on the message in Outlook. When organizations are providing PDFs for public records requests or legal requests, the queries in the ediscovery tools search by the "Sent" date of the message.…

save as dialog
Improvements for Save As... dialogue:
- extend recent folder from 5 to ... in options (5 locations is not enough for me)
- add Nextcloud as a cloud service provider (API's are available)
- add an option to disable the Adobe "extra" save as... dialogue as the default Windows Shell save window has way more functionality (more bookmarks and direct access to cloud or network folders not supported by adobe.

Printer marks may overlap artwork
This dialog box used to default to ok. Now it requires an extra click, rather than being able to just add the trim marks, then hit enter twice

PDF Initial View Magnification Guidelines
Why doesn't Adobe set the default initial view magnification setting to "fit page" so a viewer can see an entire document upon initial view? As a seasoned graphic designer, I believe it is much more courteous to allow the viewer to orient themselves to an entire document and then allow then to zoom in for more detail. It is disconcerting to see a partial document when opening a PDF file. Adobe is a leader in accessibility standards and I wondered if you had insight into this topic, I don't see a recommended initial view magnification in the WCAG 2.0 AA…

"Automatically install update" preference not working
Trying to set the "updater" preference in Adobe Acrobat on Mac behaves as follows:
- it seems to be on by default
- one can try to turn it off. This step calls for an admin password.
- assuming one gives a correct admin password, the pop-up window closes and it appears that the preference has been changed
- opening the preference panel again shows that the preference has not been changed; "automatically install updates" is still onThis error is occurring with both Acrobat Pro DC 2018 and Acrobat Pro 2017. Base O/S is MacOSX 10.12. O/S and Acrobat…

Change Recipient Limits on Document Cloud Reviews
A change was recently made to the limits on Adobe Document Cloud Shared Reviews. Prior to a recent update, the review limit was set to 25 files per day irrespective of recipients It has now changed to 50 total recipients.
I have a distribution list comprised of primary/backup reviewers from several departments within our organization, totaling 15 recipients. With the new limitation, I am now limited to either 3 reviews per day or have to pair down my recipient list to primary reviewers only and keep track of when a review has to be sent to a backup recipient and…4 votes -

BUG: Adobe Acrobat Reader does not recognize local Auto-Complete setting
Depending on whether you're logged into Adobe account or not, there are 2 places where Auto-fill entries are saved:
1) If you're logged in, the setting is stored in the cloud, and you use the web interface to change the preference.
2) If you are NOT logged in when using Acrobat Reader, the Auto-fill entries are saved LOCALLY in %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\DC\Security and is controlled by Edit -> Preferences -> Forms -> Auto-Complete
HOWEVER, Auto-Complete is usually OFF by default, hence the reason for this bug - Acrobat Reader is STILL saving Auto-fill entries on the local machine if the user…

When it works please leave it alone.
Acrobat just updated and now I have no control over the creation of fields in forms as it constantly defaults to auto fill. What a mess and right on deadline! Please a simple button which turns this on or off, with the default to off as auto still only does half the job and now I find I can't over ride it...even in the preferences forms section...I am not a happy user!

App Opening Experience
When opening a PDF, all the side menus open each time, causing the document to be either a) hidden, or b) hilariously small. I like these menus, but they should be minimized by default.
Each app opening experience involves closing both side views, then declining the AI "experience". It is getting old, and I am tired of popups when I just want to read my document.

Overwrite PDF on SharePoint Online
Our organization uses SharePoint Online provided through Office 365 hosting. SharePoint is the primary location to store files.
It's possible to use Acrobat to open documents from SharePoint, edit them and save those changes back to the SharePoint server.
If we open a new PDF with Acrobat, then attempt to save over an existing file on our SharePoint server, we encounter the following error:
Adobe Acrobat could not access the network. Please verify your computer's network connection and try again.
There are workarounds to this problem, but it would be useful to our users if Acrobat would simply save the…

save prompt overwrite
When I comment on a PDF and click ctrl+s, I am prompted for a save location every time. This is annoying. The forums said to disable enchanced security, protected mode at startup, and show online saving locations. However, please fix this default behavior.
If I comment on a PDF, and click ctrl+S or save, it should automatically overwrite the file in the same location without prompting for "save as."

Review PDF email: User specific email address in address field
Picture the scenario:
My client is waiting for a PDF proof from myself. An email arrives from '(my name) via Adobe cloud'. My client has a quick look at the pdf and thinks it looks great. My client then wants to talk to me about something else to do with the project. So my client goes back to her email program and replies to the last email she thinks came from me, which happens to be the email about the pdf. My client types a long email about the project with a request for me to call at a specific…2 votes -

When trying to Edit the PDF or add text I get this error message. None of the extra features seem to be working and we are paying a lot of money for this software.
