  1. I am having a problem with Acrobat crashing every time I use Edit text. I am trying to add text to the face of the document and every time, the document crashes and closes. I've had these problems since they did the last update.

  3. Recently a change was made that significantly reduces the ease of use for the Add Text Comment tool. The problem is that the cursor inside the add text area is now 2-3 times the the height of the text you are adding. Previously the text box and cursor were the same height as the font size that was selected.

  4. When pasting text copied from a FrameMaker document into an Acrobat comment, ALL the system fonts are listed in the comment.

Current workaround is to paste the copied text into a text editor and then recopy the information from the text editor.

  5. As of February 2021, when typing text into a field with font size set to Auto, the text does not show to the signer as having autosized itself. It appears as the same size, but if there is more text than will fit in the space of the field, an ellipsis appears at the end and the text shows as cut off. It does appear autosized correctly when the final document is created (after all parties have signed). But users consistently report back a problem when they see that the text appears that it will be cut off in…

  6. Form created in Designer 11, Using Acrobat XI Pro to extend file for users to fill-in forms using Reader DC or Std DC to save to server. After recent Reader update fields on forms that have a calculation have issues. When the file is closed then re-opened using ReaderDC the calculation fields are blank or zero. Win7 and Win10 PCs.

  9. You removed the option of "title" for a field choice in Adobe Sign. I have to use "full name," now. Signatories are confused by this. Please put Title back as a field option.

  10. I have Adobe Acrobat Pro (22.003.20282) installed and no updates are available. When I have the zoom at 100%, there is missing text, but it shows up at zoom levels above and below! See the attached files for examples. This is really frustrating when we are trying to proof documents.

  12. Can you please add the ability to let the user set a different 'default' font type, size, colour when creating forms? It adds significantly to the time used creating forms to have to change the font for every single text/field added.

  13. One of your recent updates broke my ability to use the yellow highlighter on the ribbon tool bar at the top in Acrobat to highlight text in PDF documents. This used to work great but now when I try to highlight, it grabs a huge area of the document and is completely useless now. See attachments. I use this all the time (or I did) so please fix this ASAP! Thanks.

  14. Text in vector graphic images (.svg/.emf) files get displaced and in some cases overlap with other objects in the image during PowerPoint to PDF conversion with Adobe. This issue wasn't present when using Adobe PDF Library 20.9.95

  15. I need to be able to erase text and then replace it with other text. For example, I review hundreds of PDF documents each week, many of which I must sign and date. A number of these documents have last year's date. Adobe will not permit me to erase 2023 and replace it with 2024. (This is but one common example of text entries that I would like to be able to erase and, usually, replace.)

  16. When a text block has a superscript and we start to edit the content, the leading of the text block expands - this is incorrect behavior and should be fixed so that leading does not change. This occurs in both platforms in multiple versions of DC. Note that previous versions of Acrobat Pro did not exhibit this behavior.

Need Info  ·  Bhavna Negi responded

    Thank you for reporting this.
We need more information on steps to be able to reproduce this issue.

Please share the version of acrobat you are using. You can do so using the link -helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/identify-product..

And also share the test PDF file using forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-7161 for us to investigate further.

  18. Forms generated using AdobeSign are not in compliance with ADA accessibility standards. Need an option when creating input fields to add an 'aria-label' attribute so that the fields can be easily identified by disabled / visually impaired users. Additionally, the radio buttons generated by the tool should be grouped with a <fieldset> or <legend> tag and utilize aria-label or aria-labelledby so that the buttons can be properly associated with each other and distinguished from other radio button groups.

Here is an example of an input field generated by an AdobeSign form:

    <input type="text

  19. I have many documents that I regularly access and add text to. In a previous version of Adobe Pro, when I would click in the area of text, the whole area would become editable and I could add text that lined up with what was previously added. Now, if you click "edit PDF," every single character is selected in its own bounding box and there is no way to do the previously described adding of text, other than to enable the "add text" feature, which is not the same as what I described above. Often times, I…
