Problems with jpeg2000 in pdf since version 2021.011.20039
Since the last update to version 2021.011.20039, Acrobat DC no longer displays PDFs with JPEG2000 compressed images. When loading, the error message 'Insufficient data for an image' appears. Previous versions of Acrobat DC had no problems with these files. Other viewers on the market can still display these PDFs.
What's the mistake here? A problem in Acrobat DC or in the file?

Edit using… only shows ”Open with…”
When I want to edit an object in an external editor, the tool ”Edit using…” only shows ”Open with…”.
Illustrator/Photoshop is not shown in the list as it used to. It makes no difference if I set them (or any other compatible app) as default editors in preferences.(Acrobat Pro DC 2019.021, MacOS 10.14)

Please restore the ability to attach multiple pdfs to an email message rather than combining them into a single file.
We have a customer whose system requires multiple supporting documents for every invoice: invoice, copy of purchase order and proof of delivery. Several years ago these were all mailed or faxed, now we use Acrobat Pro.

Allow bookmark to be permanently visible on the page itself (Stamp?)
Bookmark visible as a stamp on page itself so that the user can see what the document title is without having to open the bookmarks pane. This should be a toggle on/off capability and be moveable on the page (select which section of the page it appears in default). Might also be helpful if the stamp defaults could be edited for font, size, etc

Auto-bookmarking highlights
When highlighting, offer the highlight to be bookmarked.
Highlighting is done to something worthy of attention and therefore having need for later recall and return. I am reading a 200 page document and I have liberally highlighted interesting parts of the text, many on the same page. Now how do I revisit those highlighted parts? I am having to scroll through the entire document page by page in full page view to do that. A bookmark created while highlighting would serve that purpose perfectly. Differentiation among icons
I find the new icons difficult to differentiate among. In my toolbar, multiple functions are served by the same icon, which requires me to hover over the icon for the popup to see which tool it is (until I've committed my ordering of tools to memory). In my side panel, the Generative Summary icon is the only purple icon, showing that it's possible to recolor them.
Please consider allowing us to show by default the names of the tools/buttons to the right of the icon.

Keep the settings per the last session (pan vs select)
As someone who has getting older and hard to see the tools, it would be spectacular if I didn't have to toggle to the pan button every time I open a PDF. Who want to select things by default in a PDF? Or at least have a preference so the user can select the desired tools to be set. I work with large plans, and it's my preference to be able to pan by default. I don't want the select tool active as it can select lines and get inadvertently moved. Adobe Acrobat - Confusion due to too many magnifying glass icons
There are too many icons in Adobe Acrobat that use a magnifying glass. As a result, I can't find the important/most commonly used icons like zooming in/out and the 'Find' option. Are that many different zoom options really needed, and if they are then maybe do a better job of using a variety of icons and hide the lesser used ones by default. „X“ is little bit displaced in checkbox cells
Hi,
as macOS user I have issue during reading PDF. Checkbox with "X"are overlapping in default macOS reader, in official Adobe PDF reader, only in Chrome browser PDF document looks as I expect.Could you let me know, if u already know about this issue, or when is planned fix?

Read Aloud is buggy, primitive, basically useless
Fix Read Aloud to operate at a basic level of functionality. It's incredibly balky--pauses for no reason randomly throughout the text. No choice of voices; the default voice is mediocre. Speed is capped at 2x, which is too low. Take a look at Microsoft Word's Read Aloud function for inspiration.

Single Page Continuous HORIZONTAL
Hundreds of thousands of businesses use flowcharting software (such as draw.io, Visio, LucidChart, etc.) that allows you to create HORIZONTAL flowcharts, project management swim lanes, and more.
Unfortunately, Acrobat currently only allows VERTICAL "Single Page Continuous" scrolling in the Page Layout options.
For multipage horizontal documents, it's hard to track the right side of the previous page with the left side of the current page.
I'm proposing an additional Page Layout option called "Single Page Continuous Horizontal" (and maybe rename the current option to "Single Page Continuous Vertical) that allows us to scroll HORIZONTALLY through ALL pages in a document.

Adobe Acrobat DC crashes on Mac when triple-click one word to look up using Mac Dict app
- Open a pdf file using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC
- find a word, and triple-click the touchpad.
- An error message pop up saying: there was a raise without a handler. The application will now exit.
- The Adobe Acrobat DC crashes.
Env: Mac OS 10.15.3/Adobe Acrobat Pro DC
Expected: can look up the word with Mac's dict app.
Observed: Adobe Acrobat Pro DC crashes.

Highlight Text
When you have to highlight text and you want to change color you need to go to: Secondary button, Properties, Select the color that is by default and then choose a new color.
I suggest that when selecting the Highlight Text tool a side tab be enabled that allows us to change colors. Attached example of the suggestion

Outlook "Attach File via Link" vs. Sharing for commenting
Hi, when I use the Acrobat plugin for Outlook, I had expected that I could track comments, but I cannot. This is not explicit.
I would like more options for shared review of PDFs directly in Outlook, as this means I would not have to send follow up emails (for internal tracking this is required in our organization).

Wnat to select which documents to open in DC Pro and which one in DC Reader. Or else be able to set DC Reader as default.
Most PDF documents I open are for viewing (prefer to open in DC Reader that is got my preferred tool bar arrangements) and seldom for editing (which can be 'open with' DC Pro). Since I have both DC Reader and DC Pro installed, it does not allow me to 'open with' DC Reader anymore, even though I get option on the right-click to open menu.

Acrobat DC requires activation at every start-up. A message then says there is a problem at Adobe's end and allows the app to start.
