  1. When you have to highlight text and you want to change color you need to go to: Secondary button, Properties, Select the color that is by default and then choose a new color.

    I suggest that when selecting the Highlight Text tool a side tab be enabled that allows us to change colors. Attached example of the suggestion

    Adobe Acrobat and Reader official update (21.001.20135) containing the fix for this issue is now available. This update will be automatically pushed to all existing installations of Acrobat and Reader. You may also manually trigger the update early by opening the application and going to Help > Check for Updates.

  2. The rotate function should be part of the default toolbar again! (I can find the "rotate view" button by clicking on View, but that doesn't actually change the document orientation, just temporarily changes the view). I'm sure it's there somewhere, but this occurs so often you shouldn't have to go even one layer down to get to this function.

  3. After Acrobat updated to 2019.008.20071, my Enfocus Pitstop Tools have disappeared. I have tried uninstalling/re-installing both Acrobat and Pitstop. With no change. I have checked for an update to Acrobat but get a message that 20071 is the latest version. Enfocus says the problem is in Acrobat.

    When can i expect a fix for this. I need these tools in order to be able to work with my customers. Thanks

  4. It takes time for Acrobat or Reader to log into an Adobe User ID. This only occurs when either program is started. When I'm done with a document, I now close it using Ctrl-W; this leaves the program running and avoids the lag required for login. Would be nice if this was the default when closing a document.

  5. Please make commenting fonts lockable so that when you share a PDF, someone else can see your comments in a specific font. The default font (Segoe) is not great for in-depth text editing, as some characters, like curly quote marks and apostrophes, are not as easily distinguishable from their straight counterparts as they would be in serif fonts.

  6. Just like text boxes, check boxes, dropdown lists, etc are available controls to add to a form, it would be great to have a slider control as well. This control should be able to be horizontal or vertical, specify the default location of the slider, specify min and max values for a 0 - 100 percentage of the slider and assign a value to the percentage starting at the min to the max (IE 0% of the slider could be a value of 0 and a value of 100% could be 500 and a value of 50% would be 250…

  7. -The new update has the "Fill in Form Field" button in a prominent place on the toolbar and it is the only text looking button in the default toolbar. Everyone in my design office mistakenly thought it was the text box tool and was extremely frustrated trying to redline documents. As designers, we do not use this software primarily for forms or even text documents, but for reviewing and commenting on drawings.   9. There are too many icons in Adobe Acrobat that use a magnifying glass. As a result, I can't find the important/most commonly used icons like zooming in/out and the 'Find' option. Are that many different zoom options really needed, and if they are then maybe do a better job of using a variety of icons and hide the lesser used ones by default. Another option would be to provide one zoom icon on the toolbar and then when you click on that button, it provides a drop-down menu, to choose which specific zoom. There definitely needs to be a…

  10. Trying to set the "updater" preference in Adobe Acrobat on Mac behaves as follows:
    - it seems to be on by default
    - one can try to turn it off. This step calls for an admin password.
    - assuming one gives a correct admin password, the pop-up window closes and it appears that the preference has been changed
    - opening the preference panel again shows that the preference has not been changed; "automatically install updates" is still on

    This error is occurring with both Acrobat Pro DC 2018 and Acrobat Pro 2017. Base O/S is MacOSX 10.12. O/S and Acrobat…

  11. Using iMac running Catalina OS, latest update and Brother MFCL3770CDW. When I create a document from scanner in Acrobat, the scan command triggers the Mac scanner interface. While black & white scanning works fine, there is a consistent error message when attempting to scan in color. The message is that the color profile chosen is not supported. Since I cannot choose the color profile, I am not sure what to do about this. It is a major headache.

  14. Since the last update to version 2021.011.20039, Acrobat DC no longer displays PDFs with JPEG2000 compressed images. When loading, the error message 'Insufficient data for an image' appears. Previous versions of Acrobat DC had no problems with these files. Other viewers on the market can still display these PDFs.

    What's the mistake here? A problem in Acrobat DC or in the file?

  15. PDFs fail to display as attachment to WhatsApp chats; fail to display on the website of at least one of my banks; fail to open from the Cloud due to 'being already logged in" in another session.
    Fail to display on my iPhone, using Acrobat Pro. Message states that I need 'Acrobat Reader', etc, etc.
    I have a CC full sub and this is extremely frustrating. The reason I was induced to purchase CC was to avoid this kind of issues.

  16. File management issue. Or UI issue.

    No recently opened files appear at all. Not in the Open Recent menu, not after I choose to show all recent files.

    Yes, even in the Home view.

    (And now the UserVoice form is not allowing me to post my report. Perpetual "Server Communications problems! Please try again.") message.)

    Slows me down a bit.

  18. Printer is showing message
    Printing - Can't open "/private/var/spool/cups/tmp/008595c4d2ad1."

    Other applications can print.

    Tried AirPrint and native mode.
    Printer is Epson WF-7520 Series.

  19. By default, the Chrome extension will open a new call screen so you can change your outgoing caller ID. It does not, however, instantly begin contacting the number. Go to Chrome Settings to enable automatic calling. Now, when you click on a number, click-to-call will initiate a call automatically.

  20. When opening documents signed using Authentisign, an error message appears and deletes the signature and initials, which is causing major issues! Please have this fixed ASAP!!
