  3. There seems to be a bug in "Acrobat PDFMaker 17 for Word" (which does not exist in "Acrobat PDFMaker 17 for PowerPoint). The chosen "Conversion Settings" doesn't work when working in Word as shown in the attached file (and I also show that things work properly when working in PowerPoint).

    I found that copying my *.joboptions file to:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 2017\Acrobat\Settings\Standard.joboptions" was a workaround, but obviously there is a bug that needs to be fixed.

  4. I use Word 365 of a main docment to generate a PDF, and remediate in Acrobat DC. I have to add in pages in the fron an back of the document that comprises the front and back covers (also from Word). (The cover PDFs also pass accessibility check).

    However, when I drag one page into the Main document PDF and run the accessiblity checker, all the hyperlinks that tested OK in the main document now generate a 'tagged annotations' error.

    Normally, remediating such errors is easy: you show in the content panel, find the unmarked links/annotations and tag them appropriately.

  5. In Acrobat Pro DC on Windows 10, a text annotation could not input in 2 page layout with scroll.
    Firstly, input text with text annotaion tool to left page. Secondly, input text to right page. I could not input text to right page.

  6. When selecting text or illustrations, ACROBAT DC (v 2019.012) does not highlight anymore, instead the selected object is pixelated in seeming random colors. this makes it impossible to recognize selected text (depending on foreground/background contrast).
    particularly an issue when searching PDF and the highlights can not be seen.
    tried re-installing etc. with no success

  8. Bring back Send and Track! The new 'Share' feature is not nearly as useful and too stripped down.

    -- We liked the ability to send a custom email message with file link directly from the application.

  9. After updating to this version, on startup the application displays an empty dialog box and completely freezes, forcing you to quit the application in Task Manager. Repair, uninstall/reinstall, clearing temp files all did not work.
    Starting application on the administrator account allowed it to go through the dialog box which had to do with resetting default apps then allowed the application to startup and run correctly on the limited user account.

  11. I want to change the default highlight color for fillable form boxes. The automatically generated baby blue clashes with all the other colors in my layout. I know I can change it in my personal preferences, but I need to change it for the document so the recipient has the desired viewing experience.

  12. Acrobat 11 had a feature that showed the number of pages in each document being combined. Acrobat DC has it but you must hover over the document to see it.

    I often combine 100 pdfs together to make one document. I need each file to have even pages so that they print correctly and each section starts on a left hand page. In Acrobat 11 I could read at a glance which sections needed an extra page. It now takes 15 to 20 minutes to hover over each pdf (there are 100 of them) to see if they have even…

  15. Graduate students, researchers and practitioners are required to stay up-to-date in their area of expertise. This means they regularly read academic papers, white papers, e-books, reports, and other documents that come as PDF.

    Having a quick way to switch between colors when highlighting and commenting text (i.e., without relying on the "Comment" menu on the top of the screen) would allow more effective reading.

    This could be easily implemented by including a "color" command in the contextual menu that pops up when hovering the mouse on the top of highlighted text (right now it shows "Add comment" and "delete" only).

  17. Lately when I move pages around in the thumbnail preview and save (then close). When I (or my client) open the pdf it opens (defaults) to the page that WAS page 1 in the original InDesign document, instead of the rearranged pdf page 1. e.g. It would open to the middle of the pdf.

    i.e. The pdf has saved the page rearrangement but it opens to the 'old' page 1.

    My only workaround is to create another InDesign file, rearrange the pages and export. This is because my document is a 4pp double-page spread, so page 1 is in fact…

  18. In the Tags pane, add a context menu item under New Tag titled Add Multiple tags. The dialog box would allow the user to select the type of tag to add and another input for the number of tags to add.

  19. When merging PDf form to CSV file. Chinese text will fail to export.

  20. Basically, make it easier to use Surface Pens and digital stylus with Acrobat Pro. Look at Drawboard PDF, a $10 purchase with lifetime updates. It is 100x more feature-rich for using pen input/stylus input. Please add this into Acrobat so I don't have to switch between PDF programs constantly. Also, for goodness sake, fix the Erase feature. It literally takes a scrubbing to get rid of a stray line while using a pen in Acrobat. Make it like every other program in the world -- when I erase one part of a pen stroke, the whole pen stroke gets erased.…
