Advanced Print Options Do Not Save Correctly in Custom Profiles
In Acrobat XI Pro and Acrobat DC, when using the Advanced settings in Print, items such as Screening do not actually persist with saved custom profiles. If you select settings and save it under a new profile, switch to another and then view the profile where you had the desired settings, the settings will be found to never have saved in the first place.
Additionally there is no way to save these custom profiles as a default.

Read out loud
Because of my dyslexia, I would benefit from Adobe reading the text aloud as I scan the words. But it never works! How can I get the “Read Aloud” function to work?

I hate the new app user interface- cannot find drawing markup
The user interface is quite challenging, because it takes a bit to load each time I want to do something. I may want to edit, create a form, and do drawing markups on a single file.
Please provide an option for me to display all the tools I want to use in a single screen.

right-click
It would be really nice if the "Underline" tool was included in the right-click menu. Right now the Mac version has an option for highlighting and striking through, but not for underlining.

Portfolio layout macro
I have several potfolio with simial structure. Each time I open them I want a view with a vertical split in the window and the source folder added to the file deails pane. Not a big deal but adds up to some time. I have not been successful in finding a custom layout which provides this - they seem to be a daunting subject.. So my question is would it be possinle to write a macro I could run on opening the layout and where could I find hints/advice on how to write such a macro.

Acrobat crashes after transparency flattening
When first applying a hairline fix in Acrobat (all lines below 0,25 pt to 0,25 pt) and then flattening transparency in Acrobat using the transparency flattener, Acrobat crashes. I see the progress bar going to 100% and then Acrobat crashes without any error.
BUT... if I skip the hairline fix step, then Acrobat flattens the file without problems. So there must be something with the hairline fix that causes the transparency flattener to crash.
Using Acrobat Pro DC 2017.012.20098 on Mac.
Example files in attachment.
File ...WITH... crashes while flattening.
File ...WITHOUT... flattens fine.2 votesWe apologise for the issue you are facing. Yes, the crash is reproducible. We will investigate this and revert back.
Thanks,

The right panel could be hid in Adobe Acrobat XI that worked wonderfully well for me. Annoyingly, I can't seem to do so in the Pro 17!
I want Adobe Acrobat Pro 17 to work at least half as well as Adobe Acrobat Pro XI that did the jobs I needed wonderfully well for me. I NEED TO CLOSE THE RIGHT PANEL JUST LIKE I COULD IN XI!!!!!!!!!!! i SEE OTHERS HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT IT TOO. If something wasn't broke in older version why "fix it" with this one. It interferes with my ability to follow through on searched text and read same with the split screen capability Windows offers! PLEASE FIX IT SOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Needed : a true 64-bit version of your software
The current 32-bit version of Acrobat Pro DC becomes corrupt within a few weeks of normal use on a 64-bit machine, which thereafter makes it increasingly frustrating to use (with difficulties saving files to new names or locations, among many other issues). I am tired of having to reinstall your software every few weeks, only to see it degenerate to the point of unusability again. I wish you would release a 64-bit version that was designed for dedicated use on a 64-bit machine.

Allow for customizability of text snippets in advanced search results
Summary of the Problems: Search result snippets in an Advanced Search are often uninformative due to two distinct problems.
Problem 1. The length of text snippet in each search result is too short.
Problem 2. The search term occurs too "early" in the result snippet (that is, the term you searched for is the first or second word in the snippet--you see nothing that came before your term, which is often what you needed to know).Solution to Problem 1: allow the user the ability to customize the maximum size of snippets returned with search results. We have huge monitors nowadays; we can make the advanced search window itself huge; why not allow for the ability to make the search result snippets really long, too? Or at least longer than they are now?
Solution to Problem 2: allow the user to customize where the search term occurs within the result snippet. For instance, this could be a finely-grained preference, such as "Search result should be returned with X number of characters/words before/after it" where X is some user-entered number. Or there could be just a coarsely-grained preference, such as, "Search term should occur at the beginning/middle/end of the snippet."
Reason these are needed: often, a snippet is informative only if you have a certain amount of surrounding text, or only if you know a certain amount of text that comes before and after the term you searched. Presently, however, the search term occurs as the very first, or sometimes second, word of the snippet result. If you wanted to know what came before your search term in order to judge the relevance of a particular search hit, the snippet becomes unhelpful. In such cases, you have no other option but to click over to the document to get your context and then back to your search window to jump to the next result. But then, if you do that, it negates the point of having that result snippet. Such clicking back and forth between search result window and document window might not sound like much, but when your search results number in the hundreds, this clicking-back-and-forth procedure makes your work very inefficient; in a large publishing or indexing project, you might need to perform thousands of advanced searches, each with dozens or hundreds of hits. In such situations, the time-saving potential of implementing this request becomes apparent.

Add tutorial to add an index to a book. Your instructions for it are WAY TOO VAGUE.
I have been trying to add an index for a 278 page book in PDF. I spent an hour on the phone to tech support in India and no one there seems to know how to do this.
I also need to be able to VIEW it and install it into this PDF to publish it. PLEASE add a tutorial on how this is done, step by step, without CLOUDING the issue with terms like "catalog" and "metatdata" that do NOT contribute to the objective.
