  1. I open all PDF files just fine. After anywhere from 20 mins to an a couple hours I will receive an error "Insufficient data for an image" and the document goes blank - all pages are white. If I have multiple PDFs open the same thing happens to other files, though may get different error such as "There was an error while reading a stream." but all pages similarly go blank. Have to close all and reopen. Files may or may not have comments in them. Seems to happen to any and all files.

    Running Windows 10 Pro, 32 Gb…

  2. Often if I want to copy just a few paragraphs out of a text, it's not possible because I'm unable to select the few instead Acrobat is selecting all of the text. How is it possible to select and copy just these few paragraphs? Can you make it possible? See attached images.

  3. Adobe Acrobat Standard 2017 - Version 2017.011.30148

    If you right-click >print .pdf attachments straight from Outlook. The issue is Adobe opens full screen, and stays open. They have to close it after every print job. I've been told Adobe used to close, but stopped after a recent update.

  4. Yes, this can be done one at a time. Not feasible for large collection of pdfs. It was discussed in older treads but the links no longer work. Pre-flight in your Action Wizard is the most likely answer. Need SEQU file. The ones found do not work.

  5. Currently, you cannot copy text from a PDF file that's been protected for editing by a password.

    To me this doesn't make sense. Copying text out of a PDF file isn't an operation that's altering the PDF file's content.

    I receive bank account statements as PDF files protected for editing (which is a legal necessity). ... In order to create my balance, though, I need to copy the valuta data from the PDF to, for instance, a Microsoft Excel worksheet. Currently this is not possible.

    So, I'd like to suggest to allow clipboard copy operations without first unlocking PDF files…

  8. INSANE that you can't create a hyperlink in text on a PDF in the iPad/mobile versions of the app. Literally insane, I'm sorry, I pay for the monthly subscription LITERALLY for this ONE reason - to add hyperlinks into my PDF resume - and I can't access that very simple feature on a mobile device???? And Apple has removed the ability from Preview too? Is this a business collusion?

  9. When I am in the Grid of the Photo organizer, it would be very helpful if I could see if that photo has been sorted into an album, without opening the photo up. A previous version had icons to identify if it had been sorted into an album or you could hide it if it had been put into an album. Now when sorting I have to constantly open each picture to see if it has been placed in an album.

  10. The program does not let me save changes made to a pdf document after renaming it as a new document. It shows odd characters where I made the changes. I am using a Mac.

  11. Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, unlike its vastly superior predecessor, Adobe Acrobat Pro XI, is extraordinarily poor in the file management window department.

    The search functions are terrible, and it is not possible to sort documents by the various parameters. Nor does it 'remember' what folder you used previously, so that you are always having to search back through the folders to get to where you want to be. It's very hard to figure out where you are by looking at the top of the file folder screen. Basically what used to be a great UI, is horrible.

  13. Multiple users send agreements for signature with clients they are working with but these documents are only visible to that user's login. The Admin should have the ability to view all documents in the user accounts or store them centrally. It is an extremely manual process to back these files up for our company records and the main reason we are looking to move to another e-signature tool.

The new workflow for digital signing of documents looks quite pretty, but before the update i could draw the box, hit "enter" twice, press left arrow, hit enter again and Alt+F4 out, then the document has been signed. Now i could not confirm the certificate, I want to use for signing, with the "enter" key and I cant confirm the appearance of the signature with the "enter" key. So please make confirmation with "enter" possible again, this will hugely increase my workflow, since the whole process is already annoying enough if you have to sign a lot of documents

  15. Overall Acrobat is horrible non intutitive a simple google search and you will see I am not the only one that thinks this. I would suggest you work with NON-PROGRAMING design and flow oriented people to fix the issue with Adobe Acrobat otherwise it will be a thing of the past since many companies like ZOHO, Microsoft and Google are doing the work better thought the demand in the business world is PDF because you have marketed it so...I do not believe Adobe will be able to hold up this software as people are innovating their software at light speeds…

  16. When opening a document (or in many cases multiple documents) when using SharePoint, a dialogue box opens, prompting you to pick whether you wish to 'check out' the document or simply 'open' the document. This becomes cumbersome when opening more than one document at once, having to click an option on the dialogue box for every document. Adding a 'always check out' or 'always open' feature would be time saving and less frustrating.

  19. Please add a Hotkey to enable or disable the 'Snap to Grid' Feature. I love the feature, but having to navigate through several menus to turn it on or off really bothers me.

  20. In Adobe Sign, the process to send a signature could be more efficient after adding yourself as a signer in the first recipient field. After doing so, Adobe Sign could have instant suggestions on who to send the document to based on how often this recipient's signature is requested.
