3. All Tools menu disappears

   The All Tools, Edit, Convert, Esign menu is disappearing as soon as you click any of the menu items or tabs. Tried updating the computer and adobe, restarting, nothing is solving the issue.

4. Quickly add frequently-used comments

   I use Acrobat to assess student work. It would be a huge time-saver if there was an option to define frequently-used comments that could be easily added to a document rather than needing to be typed/pasted in each time.

6. Provide a simple way to view a PDF document without distractions

   Every time I doubleclick a PDF file to view its content, Acrobat pops up messages asking me to confirm that I have noticed some feature I do not need, provide feedback, use the AI assistant I do not want, review the tools I have no use for. Please provide an option to switch off all these distracting messages, buttons and toolbars and just plainly and simply display the content of the PDF file on the screen with no frills.

7. Cannot see Tool, Edit, Convert, or Sign Menus

   There is something wrong with the side menu. When I first open a document, I can see the All Tools menu on the left, but as soon as I click a tool or click one of the other side bar categories, I can see that it pulls up the tools menu but it's like stuck behind a shadow of the previous side menu and there's nothing I can do. Pressing the X doesn't close the tools, and it is basically stuck like this until I close the document and reopen, even with clicking the other options at the top like Edit, Convert or Sign. I just updated it to the newest version, and it didn't fix anything; This was happening before the update and it's still happening with the newest update.

   There is something wrong with the side menu. 10. Watermark in Adobe Acrobat

    When I try to update a Watermark in Adobe Acrobat suite by changing the Page Range options the watermark is not updated in the PDF to correct pages or not removed. I am following the instructions you have posted and it does not work.

11. Remove AI Assistant and Popups

    I've been a longtime Acrobat user, but the constant AI Assistant and promotional pop-ups have become extremely frustrating. I have repeatedly dismissed these prompts and opted out, yet they continue to appear whenever I open PDFs.

    PDF software should prioritize a fast, distraction-free experience. Users who are interested in AI features should be able to enable them, but they should not be repeatedly prompted or forced to interact with advertisements for features they do not want.

    Please provide an option to permanently disable the AI Assistant and all related promotional pop-ups. Respecting users' preferences and keeping the interface focused on core PDF functionality would greatly improve the experience.

    At this point, the intrusive AI prompts make Acrobat feel more like an advertising platform than a productivity tool.

    We are requesting Adobe to enable native support for Microsoft Purview Information Protection (MPIP)–encrypted documents within Adobe Acrobat Sign cloud workflows, as currently files protected with Microsoft Purview sensitivity labels using Azure Rights Management cannot be uploaded, rendered, or processed for signing, forcing organizations to remove encryption and thereby weakening their security posture; this creates a critical enterprise gap where organizations must choose between maintaining compliance and secure data protection or enabling essential business processes such as legal, financial, and HR document signing, and therefore we recommend implementing Microsoft Information Protection (MIP) SDK integration for secure handling of protected content to allow seamless signing while preserving encryption, access controls, and auditability.

    Hi, I would really like to disable ‘View with scrolling’ on the Chrome Acrobat Extension, as I work with an ultrawide monitor and scaling to page width by default is not usable.

    I've been informed that 'This is a known limitation with the current version of the Acrobat Chrome Extension: there is no persistent preference to disable 'View with Scrolling' by default, yet. The extension resets this to its default state on each new PDF load, and it does not currently sync with the page layout preferences set in the Acrobat desktop application. We understand how frustrating this is, especially on an ultrawide monitor where 'Page Width' scaling makes documents very difficult to work with.'.

15. Why Does Every Windows Update Remove Something Useful?

    Hello,

    It feels like every major Windows update brings changes that nobody asked for. While some updates improve security and performance, others remove familiar features or redesign parts of the system that were working perfectly fine.

    I understand that software needs to evolve, but constantly changing the user experience can be frustrating for long-time users.

16. Feedback regarding the new Snapshot tool workflow

    Hello,

    I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with the recent changes made to the Snapshot tool in the new Acrobat interface.

    Three major regressions are hurting my daily productivity:

    1. The annoying magnifying glass: The new pixel-by-pixel magnifying glass that follows the cursor is very distracting, gets in the way, and there is no setting to disable it.

    2. Immediate disappearance of the selection: The blue rectangle disappears instantly after releasing the mouse. We can no longer right-click inside the selection to print it directly.

    3. Removal of the "Selected Graphic" print option: It is no longer possible to print only the snapshot area from the print menu. I now have to create a new file from the clipboard just to print a selection, which is a massive waste of time.

    Please bring back the classic Snapshot tool behavior, give us an option to turn off the magnifying glass, and restore the direct printing feature.

    In the meantime, I am forced to disable the new Acrobat interface to keep working efficiently.

18. Remove AI, remove upsells, remove feedback and focus on productivity

    This is a business critical app that costs a lot of money (as part of the CC subscription). I want to open PDFs quickly, review them, close them and move on with my work. Instead, every time EVERY SINGLE TIME I open a PDF, you ask for feedback - PLEASE RATE THIS 1-10 HOW LIKELY ARE YOU TO RECOMMEND TO A COLLEAGUE?... then another window pops up that completely disables the app (can't even resize the application window) that tells me about all the new eatures you've added and you hide the close button so I have to hunt for it.

    Then when I've closed all Acrobat windows and try to move a PDF in File Explorer, it can't be moved, because, SURPRISE... Acrobat is still running. Open task manager, and there are 12 Acrobat processes running, even though Acrobat is not open anymore. After manually end-tasking these processes, I was finally able to move the PDF.

    JUST STOP. I pay for the app. That should be enough. I don't want AI, I don't want upsells, I don't want popups, I don't want fancy options, I don't want to recommend this to colleagues, I just want to open PDFs and do my job efficiently, and at the moment, this application is an absolute neusance and is debilitating to efficiency.

    Please PLEASE remember that this is a business-critical app. It's not a Barbie doll that requires pushing, makeup and marketing - it just needs to open PDFs and be fast about it. No popups, no AI, no nonsense. Or at least give me the ability to turn off all the nonsense and toggle to "work mode" (currently, to disable all this nonsense, you have to click through 20 preference screens, and even when I've disabled everything, including the AI, you STILL show the me the AI, and you STILL show me popups and upsells.

    PLEASE STOP.

The only resolution is to manually uncheck the setting after each update, either through Printing Preferences or Printer Defaults.
    This has been documented in Adobe community forums dating back well over four years, with multiple threads accumulating thousands of views and no permanent resolution offered.
    The Scope
    This is not a fringe issue. It affects the core professional user base — businesses running ERP systems, accounting software, and document-intensive workflows that rely on embedded or custom fonts. In my own organization, every single user experiences this problem after each update without exception. The raw user count submitting complaints likely understates the real impact because many users simply fix it manually each time without reporting it.
    The Fix Is Straightforward
    The solution is a standard save-and-restore pattern that is common practice in software updates across the industry. Before overwriting the printer driver during an update, read and store the user's existing preference values, complete the update, then reapply the saved values. This is a well-understood, minimal-effort engineering task. The setting is explicitly user-configurable, has a documented history of causing widespread disruption, and there is no valid reason for an update to override it.
    Request
    I am asking Adobe engineering to implement preference preservation for this setting as part of the standard update process. This is a straightforward fix that would permanently resolve a years-long pain point for your paying professional customers.
