  1. BE able to save multiple subsections and bookmarked Sections as a PDF rather than the whole document when PRINT action does not allow subsections to be saved through printer dialogue. Going to save as just saves the whole document again. NOT the selected Subsection or multiple pages.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your valuable feedback.
We have recorded it as a feature request in our database.
However saving multiple pages to PDF option is there. You can give selected pages in ‘Pages’ option on print dialog.

    Best Regards!

  2. I have a signed/certified PDF. Manipulations on this document are per se forbidden. However, Adobe Acrobat Pro DC allows to run the scan-optimizer (OCR, rectification, etc.) which causes a row of error messages: For every PDF-page, it shows two pop ups.

  3. Adobe Livecycle ES 4 crashes repeatingly after opening the preview screen. It's irritating. I see a lot of ad hoc repair items in this blog by the Adobe Support team (outsourced). There are a lot of issues in this case. When will Adobe really do something about it.

Please let's have a call. In the early days Adobe issues will be solved. Since it's outsources the issues are increasing huge in my opinion.

    Regards,

  4. After an upgrade to latest version 18.11.20040.19174 of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC was installed yesterday on my machine (Windows 10 Pro, version 1709) - Acrobat crashes 90% of times when trying to open any PDF file (sometimes it opens given file correctly and after closing the application and trying to open it again - it silently crashes). There is one third-party add-in installed that I'm using which worked fine so far, but now Acrobat crashes.

I can provide you with a crash mini-dump if you want (68MB as ZIP)

  5. On a Windows server where multiple end user remote to the device and use the Adobe Pro software installed, AdobeGCInvoker automatically becomes a scheduled task for each individual user and runs once every 24 hrs. If 300 users connect to the server and use the application, 300 instances of GCInvoker will become scheduled task. This is highly inefficient and undesirable. The GCInvoker should be reconfigured to only run once per day under the local administrator account on the server, thereby removing the additional clutter from the list of scheduled task on the server. 6. This is a bug. When using the acrobat extension in macOS microsoft Word to convert the doc to a PDF it removes internal links. It works fine for external links such as websites, but if I put a link in place that quickly takes you to another place in the document when clicked, this is removed when converting to a PDF. The text still appears blue but the link is not existent.

  7. Recently I updated to Security Update 2018-001 on macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 - since then, none of my Acrobat instances (DC Pro, X) works anymore: I can start Acrobat, but as soon a I try to open a file, Acrobat hangs (showing the "rolling ball") and I have to force quit. Deinstallation and re-installation did not solve the problem.

  8. Some PDF documents seem to contain meta data content that's causing Adobe Acrobat DC and Adobe Acrobat Reader to move/resize their program window when such document is opened.

This behaviour is rather annoying and it may lead to accessibility issues.

Please, either stop Acrobat/Reader from moving/resizing their program window when opening a document containing such meta data information, or provide an accessibility option in Preferences to optionally have Acrobat ignore that meta data information.

    Hi,
The issue faced by you is due to the setting of the document set by the user. Please see the following setting in the document :
    1. Open Document→File → Properties → Initial View Tab → uncheck Center Window on screen

Please make sure the setting is not checked in your document to avoid the issue.

    Thanks
    Rachit

  10. I open a pdf and go to tools > prepare form> open then select a form.

As soon as I click on 'add a field' or an existing field, a stopwatch icon appears and Adobe closes. So I can't edit a form which makes a fillable pdf form impossible. Given the fee I pay every month I am NOT happy.

Yes I have the most current version, Yes I tried the 'repair Adobe' option.

  11. Customize Quick Tools resets after every boot on a brand new computer with a new install of Acrobat DC. Why is there NO WAY to export settings for quick import and/or copying to other machines?! This is 2018, not 1995.

  12. I want to be able to resize the comment list to a smaller size than currently available. Right now, the minimum width is much too big for my small laptop. It takes up three inches of the width of my screen space. The total width of the screen is 11.5 inches, which leaves not much for the actual document, especially if I'm looking at two-page spreads.

Even when I used a huge 25-inch wide screen I need as much space as possible to compare two documents side by side. The wide comment lists get in the way.

    (Both these screens…

  13. I have multiple fonts used throughout a legal document, but when I convert to Adobe Sign, the fonts in the Forms are converted to Arial, when it was originally Times Roman. I contacted support, but they were unable to help with this!?! Can we get this updated so standard font types are compatible with Adobe Sign???

  15. Signing documents should be fast. My continued experience is one of two things, Extremely slow to retrieve signatures or it just sits there animating the four squares of customers aren't important. Currently can't sign anything, have re-installed acrobate pro via creative cloud installer, signed out and signed in. Make this "feature" reliable please.

  18. Permanent crop tool that actually removes cropped content. Masking content does not work for PDFs that need to be later uploaded online. It botches thumbnail creation and causes files to be unnecessarily large.

  20. I have the full version of Adobe Acrobat (DC) and it functions just like Adobe reader. I work with a lot of assembly drawings and I like using Acrobat for annotations, creating lines and notes - I treat it like a lighter version of Illustrator. Since I started using DC, it has been a struggle. I can't find the usual icons that I frequently use in XI and that DC works soooo slow despite that I have a $5k professional computer. Auto-Cad now responds faster than Adobe Acrobat DC. Please bring back Acrobat XI !!!

    I hope the Adobe folks…
