1. Changing layer default visibility state is awkward and sometimes does not save

   I use Acrobat PRO DC in prepress to switch layer visibility in PDF's that are linked to Illustrator imposition file. Usually I need to change 2-5 layer visibility. The process involves awkwardly too many steps to change a default visibility state of a layer in order for it to be saved. And when trying to save changes sometimes it fails. To correct the issue I usually have to rotate the page CCW and back CW and just then the layer visibility state can be saved. Please look at this as it consumes time and needs too many steps to complete such a simple task.

2. BUG: Acrobat looses numbers at Export as HTML, DOC, DOCX

   When exporting a PDF to an HTML, DOC or DOCX, ACROBAT DC and also ACROBAT 11 PRO, looses/converts the numbers at the beginning of the row which contains . and 000 (00).
   For example, in word, the number 15.000 becomes a numbered list starting with "15.1" and in HTML becomes the same or disappears completely. This is a very frequent problem, in 100 pdf's 85 of them have this problem on multiple pages.
   Considering that we work with ACROBAT PRO and DC with almost 10000 of pdf's monthly (from 2006) for us is a very serious problem that we have every day.
   Because of GDPR, I can't put the whole document or the PrintScreen with all the data from pdf. But I marked the situation in the print screen and if needed, I can provide pdf's it the confidential data is preserved.

   We all use:
   Windows 10
   ACROBAT DC version 2019.021.20061
   ADOBE Acrobat XI 11.0.23

3. Can't export to PDF due to error

   I can't export anything to PDF format because it says "Adobe Acrobat license has either expired or not been activated. Try launching Adobe Acrobat."
   I've checked and my license has not expired and is activated. I've relaunched, logged out and signed in on Adobe Acrobat and it still shows the same pop up.
   It is extremely frustrating.

7. Moving sticky notes between far off pages in PDF

   Please introdue a feature where sticky notes can be moved between far off pages within and also if possible between PDFs.

   This should be done so that files having lots of sticky notes in them can be smoothly worked with. I have a file with 3000+ sticky notes in it but the notes are all in different pages and I want to streamline it.

   Copy pasting content individually one sticky note at a time is tedious and so would request Adobe to allow a feature where one can simply drag the sticky notes across the pages.

   One solution is by splitting the view of the PDF file and allowing sticky notes to be able to move between the split so that one can let's say view Page 3 and Page 60 of a PDF at the same time and then move the comments between them.

8. reorder pages

   Let's say we have a document 40 pages long. The usefulness of all 40 pages vary because of end-user knowledge.
   As such,
   Master users will preferably only read 5 out of those 40 pages.
   Experienced will read 15 pages
   Intermediates 30 pages
   First time users 40 pages.

   Now this already is possible with a plug-in, but I fail to understand why Adobe don't see plug-ins as a clear sign that users want / need the functionality.

   Ok, what would be great is being able to script a user end button that calls the sort bookmarks function. The PDF would already have bookmarks on the pages that needed to be put together.
   But if a "master" then clicks the "master" button, the script reorders the specific pages and puts those exact 5 pages in the beginning of the document.

   Like I said, this is already possible with purchasable scripts, but it really should be built in in Acrobat and perhaps even more importantly in InDesign also (or instead…)

10. BUG REPORT: accessibility issue on PDF export from InDesign

    The latest version of InDesign exports PDF's in which most all the tagged content is in an Xobject container, making accessibility remediation MUCH MORE DIFFICULT. This is a huge step backwards. Attached are two examples, from the same client, annual reports- last year's was fine, this year's has all the xobject issues. Please advise, help, fix, something!!!

11. How about making it possible to bookmark a page. Doesn't work and no help!

    I have a document opened, and would like to add a bookmark. I have the bookmark panel open and I have the left pull down icon f"Options", another icon labelled "Find Current Bookmark", but its grayed out, (no bookmarks yet). What am I missing?

13. The Pdf Reader show no number of pages in the folder

    In each folder of Windows 10 computer you can change, what the columns show. They show normally the date and size of the files. If the Pdf-Reader document is in a folder and i want to show how many pages my Pdf-Reader document have, it does not work.

17. Adobe Licensing Application hangs after login on Mac OS 10.15.2 (Catalina)

18. Shortcut Keys for Opening Tools

    Please add shortcuts for high level tools like Edit PDF, Optimize PDF, Prepare Forms, etc. When working with a document that requires changing tools often, it's tedious to have to find the right icon and click on the side menu over and over. It would be great if something like Alt-O, etc. would open the Optimize PDF menu.

19. Keep stamp tool selected (more than one stamp at a time)

    Please provide an option to keep a stamp selected to use multiple times in a row. For instance, I use stamps to place checkmarks on documents and I have to click the stamp each time I want to place it as it deselects after every placement.

    Hi,
    You can achieve this by pin tool option.
    Please find the steps:
    -Open any PDF
    -Load comment app
    -Click on Stamp tool icon and then click on any stamp —> Stamp gets selected
    -Click on the pin tool icon(see the attached snapshot for reference)
    -Now apply stamp, it will not get deselected.

20. Relaod an opened pdf file

    The opened pdf files often crush after they are open for a while (which I suspect is due to the unstable server connection). So, I hope that Acrobat has this relaod function so that an opened file can be reloaded manually by a short-cut key like Ctrl+R.
