Make the product compatible with Chrome OS. I recently became one of the victims of Microsoft's forced updates of Windows 10 crashing my laptop - and it did so in a manner that seems to have corrupted the data so badly, I can't even get into safe mode via a successful command prompt. Bug in Acrobat's calculation of exponential (Type2) function
Hi,
Attached files show a severe bug in calculation of a simple Type2 (exponential interpolation) function in all Acrobat versions, including the latest DC beta.
The only difference between the 2 files is the type of function used to implement the simple function ‘y = 1 – x’ to accomplish a TR function on a SoftMask that inverts the values.
The one that is correctly rendered is InvertingTRasType4.pdf which uses a Type 4 (PS) calculator function type with operators:

Stop refreshing the page thumbnails
When I have the Page Thumbnails sidebar open and I switch between different open PDFs Acrobat refreshes the whole thing, including all the pages which can be slow and locks-up the whole UI. Why can't it cache the thumbnails when I switch between documents? It becomes very painful if I have a long PDF with 100+ pages in.

The PDF file will be collapse after saving the file and reopening it.
Tested with Acrobat DC and PitStop Pro.
Run the attached action and save your random PDF.

How would I convert multiple img into a single pdf?

Canned Responses
Could Adobe add a tool for users to create, organize, and use precreated responses to common problems or questions? As a writing instructor, I would find this tool invaluable, as I respond to common problems in student writing. I expect other professionals who encounter situation where they offer similar responses to multiple documents would benefit from this tool. Thank you for considering this request.

May/June 2018 - Adobe Pro DC download link - NOT GOOD
Had to redo PC. Downloaded and reinstalled Adobe Pro DC. No dark theme setting available. Contacted Adobe support. Tech insisted that the only way to help was to remote in. Tech changed some registry settings and from my recollection, the spt tech installed a "repair software". Then my system started revving up terribly. I didn't like what I was seeing. I ended session, reverted back to an image before remote session. Reopened Adobe Pro DC. Turns out the download gave me 2015 (classic) vs newer. Tried to update, it said it was up to date. Blur/Redact sections of a document until a password is entered to reveal detail.
Rather than restricting the entire document with a password, for documents published to large audiences but only some need to see specific details, allow a blurred box to be included on sections of a document that can be removed if someone enters the password specifically in that section while reviewing the document.
This would be page-specific security, not document level security. Useful on large reports that cover many areas that are distributed on different level of an organization.

Bad Sequence of Events when Scanning
I scanned a document into Acrobat Pro to create a PDF. I then mailed the original document to the destination. Acrobat then forced me to sign-in & the document scan was gone. If you are going to force a user to sign-in, consider doing so before you let them use the tools.

Conditional Formatting for Text Boxes & Comments
I have real estate projects that have multiple buildings on a map that get released for sale on a regular basis. I would love to have the ability to have the text box, or callout box, arrows, lines, etc. to change color based on status. For instance, I write "STARTED" in my text box and the box, text, and arrows attached to that text box turn Green. I write "FUTURE" and it turns Red.This way I can replace the underlying map, and color code the comments automatically based on criteria I select.

PDF created with Adobe Pro and password protected won't open with browser. Gives 'incorrect password' message. Password works fine on mac
I have a pdf document, password protected, works fine. Password is fine, document opens on my desktop mac or any operating system. However, when I upload the document to our website: japanstudy.earlham.edu (Enrollment Procedures - 2018-19 Handbook), I receive this error message. Attached is the screenshot of the error. I cannot fix this, no matter if I change the password or try a variety of settings.

how do i remove the security for needing a password to edit docs? I don't even know what the password is it's asking for!!
How do i remove the security so i can edit docs. it says i need a password ??? what's that??? I'm so frustrated this is the most non user friendly system ever for beginners!!!!!!!!! i hate it but i need the capabilities it offers!!!!!!

New Feature - Adobe Sign | Comment Field for Signer/Approver
Comment field for signer/approver and/or email button attached to document to email comment or questions regarding received document.
In some cases, the signer or approver may have questions about the document prior to signing it. Instead of having to deny the document, the signer/approver should be able to submit a comment when signing or submit a question to the sender prior to signing.
