3. Home/Tools/Document Tabs are intrusive and annoying

   It's pointless to customize and 'show' tool icons in the toolbar, because those tools that I want and use are hidden under the 3 dots. And that happens because Home, Tools, Document, and My Account is stuck permanently and uselessly in the toolbar.

   I have set the program to open multiple files in separate windows, so I don't need the Document tab. The Tools sidebar can be opened by clicking in the margin at the edge of the window, so I don't need that. And if users need to open and close files within the program (can't understand why), then put a non-intrusive Home button somewhere that doesn't eat up needed space in the toolbar. Idea: Make those tabs disable-able so we can use the toolbar for what it was originally intended.

4. BUG : Arabic text with ( Tashkeel ) Editing after PDF file is saved add extra spaces

   Ok here is the issue,

   When I edit PDF file using Arabic text, everything ( to some extent is fine )
   But if I just saved the file, then try to edit it again
   ( i.e. Change font, Change Color, Change size, edit the text it self )

   Arabic letters would just go wrong, attached an image showing the issue.

   I noticed that this only happen if ( Tashkeel ) is used.

   I had the same issue on both Machines : Mac OS & Windows 10.

   Also PDF attached with an example,
   if you just tried to change the Text color, you would notice the issue.

5. No Support

   I am very new to this. But, each time I have gone to a Feedback section, regardless of the topic, the response from Adobe is some variation of "Great idea, Frank. I will forward your feedback to . . . . . .
   and they will get back to you before you die; hopefully." They seem incapable of providing a helpful, substantive response

6. Bought and installed TC, says trial expired, won't take TC serial number

   I bought and installed TC on my old computer. I think I deactivated it on the old computer when I purchased a new one and installed it on my new computer. Every time I open Acrobat, it tells me my trial has expired but it won't accept the TC serial number as valid.

   Tried the help desk on a weekend and they were unable to assist.

   I thought it had to do with the computer having Acrobat preinstalled, so I deinstalled everything and reinstalled TC. Still having the same issue. VERY ANNOYING.

7. I have Adobe Acrobat DC: lost recents today: how do I get back?

   Not idea: this is a bug. I have Adobe Acrobat DC: when I would scan something into my computer and use acrobat to save it, Acrobat would have a screen of "recents" so I could choose that. Suddenly that is gone. I have rebooted my computer and it hasn't come back. Any idea how I get this back? It is quite handy.

9. Give option to make Hand Tool the default option instead of the Select Tool

   The Select Tool is the default tool. I never use it and have never seen a need to use it. It makes the screen turn blue and wants to select things instead of letting me drag and move around the page to review large documents. I always have to stop what I'm doing and switch to the hand tool. I am opening and managing easily over 100 PDFs a day and having to switch at every new document is frustrating and time consuming. Adding this as an option would save so much time for users that need this as their default setting.

   You can make the hand tool the default option by trying:
   1)Look under Preferences> Acessibility
   2)Uncheck "Always display the keyboard selection
   3)Then select the Hand Tool.
   4)Close the program
   5)The Hand tool will now be default

10. I no longer have "send for signature" as one of my tools options. It was there this morning.

11. Commenting issues

    I do a lot of commenting and the commenting tools used to work much better.
    Here are my top wishes:
    1. Instant 'add note to replace text'. It used to work, so that if you highlighted a word or a sentence, all you needed to do was to start writing and the text would appear in a blue comment box.
    2. When reviewing comments in a document, I really need an up and down arrow, so I can jump through all comments one at a time.
    3. Allow for ALL the commenting tools to be available in the main tool bar. I am able to add some, but only two will fit in there.

    I downloaded your software update (after your prompt) and now I have a JAPANESE app on my PC (2144GameBox) that I can't get rid of because it's in JAPANESE. What the actual ****?

13. Chrome OS access

    Make the product compatible with Chrome OS. I recently became one of the victims of Microsoft's forced updates of Windows 10 crashing my laptop - and it did so in a manner that seems to have corrupted the data so badly, I can't even get into safe mode via a successful command prompt. After 2 weeks, and no real assistance from Microsoft (they had the nerve to try to get me to pay them for a new version of Windows 10 - not going to happen) that I really don't intend to go back onto a Windows platform anytime soon. In the interim while I get that sorted out I purchased a Lenovo Chromebook, and discovered I cannot access my Adobe product/subscription with Chrome OS - and I find this disappointing, to say the least. I've spent a lifetime using windows on PC's, but this latest incident is just too much, so my next laptop purchase is likely to be an Apple to go along with my Chromebook. Is there anything in the works to make Adobe products available to Chrome OS? Thanks.

16. Bug in Acrobat's calculation of exponential (Type2) function

    Hi,

    Attached files show a severe bug in calculation of a simple Type2 (exponential interpolation) function in all Acrobat versions, including the latest DC beta.

    The only difference between the 2 files is the type of function used to implement the simple function ‘y = 1 – x’ to accomplish a TR function on a SoftMask that inverts the values.

    The one that is correctly rendered is InvertingTRasType4.pdf which uses a Type 4 (PS) calculator function type with operators:
    { 1 exch sub }

    The one that is completely wrong is InvertingTRasType2.pdf which uses a Type 2 exponential interpolation function with C0=1, C1=0 and N=1

    Both function should be equivalent in the domain [0 1].

17. Stop refreshing the page thumbnails

    When I have the Page Thumbnails sidebar open and I switch between different open PDFs Acrobat refreshes the whole thing, including all the pages which can be slow and locks-up the whole UI. Why can't it cache the thumbnails when I switch between documents? It becomes very painful if I have a long PDF with 100+ pages in.

19. The PDF file will be collapse after saving the file and reopening it.

    Tested with Acrobat DC and PitStop Pro.
    Run the attached action and save your random PDF.
    Reopen the PDF file and the interface will now be collapsed.
