  2. I just installed Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and tried to open a Word document to prepare as a form. Though the file loads in the "Select File" box, nothing happens when I click start.

    Have you tried it with any other file to confirm that this is not file-specific issue.

    Also, can you “Check for Updates” and re-test the issue with latest version.

  4. The current Acrobat Pro DC Version has omitted 4 Image enhancing features (Deskew, Background Removal, Descreen, & Text Sharpening) & I feel that they should be implemented-edited into the latest Acrobat Version to make it complete. These are very important features.

    Option is available in Acrobat DC as well. Serach for Optimize PDF and select “Optimize scanned Documents.”
    Its available under Filters option.

  7. I often have two PDFs open at the same time, side by side, for referencing purposes. Now with the Acrobat DC I don't have that choice as both opened files are now in the same 'tabbed' PDF window. I can see the two files 'serially' but not side by side.
    What to do?????

    You can drag the newly opened tab out and your PDF will now be open in new Acrobat window.

  8. We use text boxes or callout tool to "balloon" customer prints with several different colors representing the type of feature or dimension. Would like to be able to view the different colors by "groups" or "layers" in any combination. Current use of layers does not work as it imports each separate ballooned print over the other and are only visible by toggling between but not in combination with each other. Have talked to adobe direct and verified there is no support for this type of function at this time. Seems like a simple feature to me, we have used this…

  11. Steps to reproduce:
    1. In Acrobat, click on "Combine files into a single PDF".
    2. Choose files to combine and press "Combine files".

    Environment: macOS 10.13.3, Acrobat Pro DC (2015.006.30417)

    Expected result:
    - Files are combined into a single PDF, which is shown in open window.
    - Nothing else.

    Observed result:
    - Files are combined into a single PDF, which is shown in open window.
    - The "Combine Files" box opens again. Even after clicking on "Cancel", the box re-opens.
    - Only clicking on the red cross in the top right-hand corner closes the window.

  12. Bottom tool bar which appears over the document every time, it's always covering a page numbers, it's disappears so long and slow and no way to close it or make not appear at all... I never, just never, used this bar and any tool it provides. Wish I could set preferences to get rid of that annoying tool bar. Thank you.

  14. When I copy and past text from the PDF into Dreamweaver, I loose all the formatting. This waste an enormous amount of time. I have all the clients email me the texts to create html newsletters - but sometimes they can't or they want use an old brochure etc. Please fix or let me know what I need to do to use the product better.

  15. Why it is impossible to have editing options as they were previously? Can a 'Classic view' be added for those of us older than 5?
    Everything in this new 'charms' based UI is fussy and time-consuming. I've been using Acrobat since its inception and now I'm having to relearn nearly everything. WHY?
    It wasn't broken, so the need to 'fix it' has created a frustrating experience.

  16. After the latest Acrobat Pro DC update, I click on the printer icon and it takes 5-6 seconds before the application begins bringing up the print dialog. Then I click the print button on the print dialog and it takes 15-19 seconds before the document actually begins printing on my HP LaserJet color printer. This is immensely longer than printing took before the update. On the initial click of the printer icon, the title bar actually says "not responding."

  17. My Adobe Acrobat DC updated overnight and now my custom scanning tools do not work. Previously I had a custom tool I named scanning with two shortcuts. One for black and white scan, and another for custom scan which I set up to scan both sides. After the update, my scanning tool and shortcuts were there, but they don't work. I tried to recreate, but I cannot scan anything without going to file > create > PDF from scanner, which then brings up enhanced scans. The Black & White tool in the Create Custom Tool does not work.   18. After latest update of adobe acrobat pro DC (for me d.d. 25 February 2018)

    The PDF printer has disappeared.

    System config:
    Windows 7 professional sp1 64 bit
    Creative cloud (adobe acrobat pro DC)

    Actions tried to get the printer back:
    1. I tried a repair of adobe acrobat pro DC.
    2. I tried manually add the printer.
    3. reinstall adobe acrobat pro DC.

    If I go to the windows event viewer I see the following error message:
    Installing printer driver - failed, error code 0x2, HRESULT 0x80070002. See the event user data for context information.

  20. can we please get rid of the "content preparation progress" bar I don't need to know, load it in the background, you dont see this on every webpage you visit, if you really want it make it a 1 pixel line that doesnt get in the way of the page view
