1. Option to manually refresh comments for files share for review

   A customer explained that he opened a document shared for review in Acrobat. He was working with a colleague who was adding comments in the same review on the web. While comments were syncing periodically, he wanted the option to manually check for new comments in addition.

3. Comment dialogue bug

   Since the latest update (running Adobe Acrobat Pro V2019.008.20074) adding comments (drawing lines, connected lines or rectangles) randomly causes the comment dialog box to appear for those markups. This was not a problem before the update. Upon opening the document, several dialog "bubbles" appear on the side of the document. They disappear as soon as one opens the comment pane. This is clearly a bug. Windows 7 Enterprise SP1.
   Expected result: no dialog box, just display comments created.
   Observed result: random dialog boxes are added, even though not added by user.

5. View/page display/enable scrolling - doesn't work when selected

   When I open a PDF, and select View/page display/enable scrolling - it doesn't work. I have discovered (trial and error) that if I change the window size (click on bottom corner and drag/resize diagonally a little, larger or smaller) that that seems to correct the enable scrolling issue. It is frustraitng to have to do that with each PDF I open, since I review multiple-paged PDFs a good bit of the day. Please fix it. Thanks. (iMac user)

6. What happened to the % view in the top of the PDF window?

   I view PDFs on a 27" screen so two open PDFs fit side by side, making review easier. I no longer see the % field in the tool section at top of each PDF. While I can, with multiple steps (4), change the view % size, it used to be so easy to just change the visible % field as needed—1 step. Usually, I need the annotated PDF at 75% and the revised PDF at 100% (this allows for the wide comment column to be seen.). I have searched all the tool preferences that I can find, but can not locate the toll that will but the % across the top. Can you tell me how to fix that? If not, please put that function back!

7. Need to show all the comments in column, not just name of commenter

   Each new release you make takes away from my productivity!
   
   1. The new version of Acrobat Pro shows the right col. Comment list by name of commenter, but I need to see the entire list of the marked comments/changes. This function seems to have disappeared with the recent release. The comment col. as a scroll list view showing all corrections/changes is also a great checklist to make sure all client and manager changes have been made. I review and proofread many, many PDFs each day and it's very frustrating to have to open each comment one-by-one.
   2. Each opened comment box covers up the area in the copy on the PDF that has the change marked (we're reviewing and changing marketing copy primarily for health insurance plans and other text-heavy files), so there are lots of changes on each page.) Covering up the change isn't helpful.
   3. When I'm marking up corrections/changes to the PDF, and have to revise what's been written as a comment in the comment box, the previous comment text can't be highlighted/typed over (as with a Word document) but one has to go back to the comment box and remove the unwanted text (this function was available in previous versions).

   Each new release you make takes away from my productivity!

9. Sharing files suddenly doesn't work

   When I try to email a file, all of a sudden, I don't get the option to email or share and a side frame pops up but no options are there for me to choose how I want to send the tile.

10. Bug in printing certs after update

    I cannot print my certificates from Acrobat now. I have to move to word to print each page with a boarder. This started with the update. I print many certs a day and this takes far more time and changes the font. If it does not have a boarder I can print. This is frustrating and a waste of time. I did not have this problem before.

    Hi Tracy,

    Sorry for inconvenience caused, we have fixed few print issue in recent patch (19.008.20074). Please check your Acrobat is updated. You can update by opening the application (Acrobat/Reader) and going to Help > Check for Updates.
    If you still face the issue, please share few detail to narrow down the issue:
    1. What error are you getting while printing? Is some data is missing from Print output.
    2. What is the printer/Driver you are using?
    3. What kind of boarder does the file contain? If possible please share/send sample file on mrraj@adobe.com

11. When exporting to excel it is auto merging cells now.

    Each time I export to excel the format is not like the previous versions. There is far more work to format the document. Cells will auto merge or additional columns will be added. Past versions have allowed me to export the exact document with no format issues.

13. Would like to export "Saved Settings" in Watermark & Header/Footer Tools to another computer

    I have a number of Watermark and Header/Footer "Saved Settings" on one Mac (desktop) that I would like to export from it and import into another Mac (laptop). These include page number specs for different page sizes. It would be a great time saver if, once those were saved in one computer, they could be exported into another without entering in the specs from scratch.

14. Unknown location if available for the crop feature. To crop documents.

    Older versions I was able to quickly locate the tools to crop an image to make it smaller. I was also able to break down a document and extract one page if needed as a pdf file. Manipulate files is what this was useful for. No longer is this a user friendly program.

15. The Zoom In (+) and Zoom Out (-) buttons missing from tool bar.

    The Zoom In (+) and Zoom Out (-) buttons, and the zoom percentage text box disappeared from my toolbar, and I can't get them back. These controls are only accessible through the menus or the undocked floating panel. Re-docking the panel doesn't bring these controls with it. Right-click "Show Select & Zoom Tools" doesn't even list them.

16. Newer version

    For some reason my programme quit! When opened, it was updated to a newer version - I DID NOT ASK FOR IT - i work with this software every day and now I cannot tick off my corrections as I work (box for tick is NOW right click and scroll down...!!!)

    IT IS TIME CONSUMING - please put it back!!!

    My work is time based and not a toy.

17. after create link page zoom changes

    windows 10, Acrobat pro DC 2019.008.20074

    bug?

    description of issue:
    - page zoom of pdf is fit width
    - select text/location where the link must be inserted
    - right mouse click -> create link
    link action = go to a page view
    - click next
    - go to page/section to where the link must go
    - click Set link
    - the pdf jumps back to the location of the selected text.

    and now the page zoom is not longer fit width but custom.

    Can you share with us some sample PDFs with which you are facing this issue.

18. PDF-Go back to 1-click email attt send

    Go back to 1-click email attt send; after recent update, we now need to click on share, then click on share as attt, then click on continue.... so many clicks for a simple task

20. [Solved] Acrobat Pro DC 2019.0008.20071 crashing

    Windows 10 Pro 64, Office 365 Home

    I use an Excel spreadsheet to keep track of and open with links most of my pdf ebooks. Last day or two, Acrobat began crashing when I used an Excel link if there were any documents already open in Acrobat. Very frustrating because I'm just trying to do what I do every day of the week, multiple times in a day. I discovered that the problem was restricted to one desktop and to one of the two monitors on that machine, the extended display. Cut story short, the issue was solved after I updated the AMD Radeon graphics driver.
