1. Bug: Problem when adding signature image in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC v22

   We have installed Adobe Acrobat Pro DC on all our user machines.

   For the people with a license we let them log in so they can use the Pro features.
   For the people without a license we let them use this version as a Reader.

   This worked out great, but now we found out a bug.

   With Adobe Acrobat Pro DC when adding a signature image I go to "E-Sign" > "Fill & Sign Yourself" > "Sign" > "Add Signature" > "Image" > Browse to the image signature (.PNG) > Click OK

   And we receive a warning "You do not have access to this feature. Please contact your IT admin for more details." (Mind you that this is a FREE feature). When you click OK, you can still continue and add the signature to the document. But the signature is not being converted to one with a transparant background. See example:

   I went ahead and installed Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and did the same thing. "Sign" > "Fill & Sign" > "Sign yourself" > "Add Signature" > "Image" > Browse to the image signature (.PNG) > Click OK.
   Now I (ofcourse) received no warning since this is already the free version, but more importantly, the signature image is correctly converted to a true signature stamp with a transparent background. See example:

   This is in my opinion a real bug and should be fixed. The only solution now is to install the Reader version for all our users.. This would be a bummer since Adobe told we could use the Pro without signing in and be able to use the non premium features.

2. Confirmation email when sending out shared reviews

   I think I used to receive a confirmation email verifying when and with whom I shared a PDF review.It also contained the link to the review. Was this feature removed? Can it be added back? It is very handy to forward to team members that inevitably missed/can't find the email that was sent to them or insist they were never included in the first place.

4. EXTRACT PAGES to have an option to open the extracted files.

   Rather than extracting a page (and using the ridiculously restrictive file folder dialog box), saving the file, then having to search for it in order to work with it, it would be GREAT to have an option (in addition to the existing "Delete Pages after extracting" and "Extract Pages as separate files") to "OPEN EXTRACTED FILE" !

5. BUG: Split PDF Output Options - "Same Folder Selected at Start" and "Use bookmark names for file names" is mutually exclusive.

   This appears to be a bug as other people around me using the same software have no issues with these 2 options being mutually exclusive. What setting or why are these mutually exclusive for me? Sounds like a bug as I cannot find any information as to why this would occur.

6. Option to put initials on each page

   For contracts (sometimes containing up to 600 pages) I need to add an initial on each page (requirment from our legal department). Now I need to do it manually on each page.
   Would it be possible to add the option to copy the initials to all pages?

9. Stop changing my tool preferences!!!!

   Stop changing the preferences users have set on the tools bar on the right side of the screen. I don't know what triggers it, but every couple of months, the tools revert back to your defaults. I only have the tools that I use in that area - some of which are NOT in your defaults - and having to go back and find all of them, and then reorganize them is wasting my time because IT WAS ALREADY SET TO MY PREFERENCES!!!!

10. Digital cert signature

    Good Morning Adobe

    Firstly I would like to congratulate all the Adobe team due the great work that you’re doing with your software.

    My suggestion for a new feature or modification one is:
    Be able to sign a PDF with a digital certificate instead of with a handwritted signature on IOS, specifically IPhone and IPad.

    Why?
    Actually, in the EU states, the 100% legal signature is the one from a .pfx ; .p12 ; .cer and .crt government validated, it’s true that if we use the handwritted one it’s valid, but you have to proof that it’s not screenshooted or edited by an open PDF editor. So what’s happening right now is that a lot of private and government processes are being slowed due every time that we have to sign (with a digital cert obviously) a PDF we have to have access to one computer (that you can trust or not) and then with your digital cert signature sign it.

    For example, actually if I have my digital cert installed on my IOS (IPhone or IPad device) I would be able to sign official docs if Adobe allows it, I’m a premium member subscriptor so even with my suscription I would be able to sign it.

    I hope that on EU countries we will be able to sign and validate PDF from IOS devices soon, it will help a lot more, in government administration processes, even between member states of the EU.

    Adobe Acrobat Synchronizer consumes enormous memory: it's now at 35.5 GB.

    I know I can kill it in Activity Monitor - but it still shouldn't happen.

12. Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 won't show a warning that changes haven't been saved before closing

    For example, if you add a comment to a PDF and close Acrobat 2020 Pro, the warning about not saving your work will not appear. This warning was normally displayed on the older version of Pro XI, so it appears in the latest version of DC (both Reader and Pro).

13. Using existing E-sign templates on different PDFs without creating a new template

    Add the ability to apply the existing E-sign template to a PDF on the editing menu.
    So if I have similar PDFs with minor changes- we won't need to create a new template for it, just to apply an existing one.

    By using the existing E-sign template it will add all the Fields from the template & will let us do some editing at the preparation stage.

    Even software like DocuSign has this kind of feature...

14. Improve Bates Numbering for Legal Professionals, Include File Name

    The Bates Stamping tool needs a few more features to help litigation users comply with the court requirements. For example. in Nevada, when we submit trial exhibits to the court, the PDF file name is the exhibit number (e.g., 1.pdf, 2.pdf, 3.pdf) and the Bates number on the document is the File Name plus the page number (e.g., 1-001, 1-002, 1-003; 2-001, 2-002; 3-001, etc.). Currently, we have to process each PDF individually and manually type the filename as the prefix, which is a massive time suck. If the File Name were added as a field to the Bates Stamping tool, however, we could batch process these. All of the other options we need are there, we just need the File Name added, and then we can use the rest of the options we need, such as shrinking the page, formatting the page number with leading zeros, and setting appropriate margins, font size and font color.

15. DOC ROTATION NOT SAVING

    Using Organize Pages to rotate document and it will not save the document right side up. It keeps reverting back to the original even though it says it's saving it. I use Adobe Acrobat Standard DC every day for work.

16. Create a command to permanently discard cropped-out margins from the page in order to reduce file size

    There should be a simple command to discard permanently everything outside the cropbox. Currently, the only way to do so is the crop pages and then run OCR. Why? Seems like a simple, useful feature to add.

18. The Search Function in Acrobat Pro is Now Incredibly Frustrating

    Please fix the search function in Acrobat Pro. I rely on this so heavily for my work and it has become unreliable and confusing to use. For example, I searched for the word "Ad-hoc" today and Acrobat reported finding no results. I was looking at the word on my page at that very moment.

    Oh, and when I then searched for the word "occurred" Adobe finally highlighted the word "Ad-hoc" for me. Infuriating!

    Please fix this. There has to be a way to permanently set the search function to return only the actual word I am searching for, not random words that happen to contain some of the same letters as that word.

    Update: Running OCR on the document allowed it to finally recognize the word Ad-hoc. I'm still upset about how difficult it has become to search for things in Adobe Acrobat.
