1. open new window

   Hello Adobe support,

   I cannot find the setting to deactivate "open documents as a new tabs in the same window" (I want a new window for each!) under [preferences > General > Basic Tools] anymore since the latest update. Please can you let me know where I can turn this off? I am using Adobe Acrobat Reader MUI (23.003.20244).

2. Stop putting a shortcut on my desktop.

3. New Acrobat - Ability to move side panels and quick action toolbar

4. Adobe Acrobat 64-bit unified installer

   As Adobe released unified installer concept with Adobe 64-bit where we can install acrobat in reduced mode (Reader only).

   however when the app deployed in reduced mode (without license), application title still shows as Adobe Acrobat STD / PRO which might confuse users. They might think its actually STD / PRO installed on the machine and try to convert documents.

   We actually looking to have the application title as "Adobe Acrobat" if deployed in reduced mode and change the title to STD / PRO based on activation.

5. Give option to make Hand Tool the default option instead of the Select Tool

   The Select Tool is the default tool. I never use it and have never seen a need to use it. It makes the screen turn blue and wants to select things instead of letting me drag and move around the page to review large documents. I always have to stop what I'm doing and switch to the hand tool. I am opening and managing easily over 100 PDFs a day and having to switch at every new document is frustrating and time consuming. Adding this as an option would save so much time for users that need this as their default setting.

   When will Adobe be releasing the 64bit version of your Acrobat Pro DC software for users running the 64bit version of Windows 10? I am presently stuck running the 32bit version of Acrobat Pro DC.

7. HOME/TOOLS startup screen disable request

   Please allow diable of the HOME/TOOLS startup screen. I have disabled it in the preferences and it is still there on launch. This is a very unprofessional looking feature and is extremely annoying to professional users like me.

8. Adobe Acrobat Salesforce Integration

   We're using Adobe Acrobat Pro for our PDF edition and it's awesome. We also use Salesforce, we're looking for a way to manipulate PDF inside Salesforce like we do in the Adobe Acrobat. In the moment we have to take the PDF from Salesforce, download it, edit it, and the upload it again, it will be awesome if we could just modify the PDF inside Salesforce (It will save us a lot of time)

9. Page navigation previous/next view, mouse button (back/forward) support

   Hello,
   many modern and productivity mouse have dedicated back/forward buttons. Could you please add support for mapping those buttons to previous/next view in adobe acrobat that would be very helpful for increasing productivity when navigating documents. Thanks.

10. Acrobat DC is slow

    Acrobat DC is very slow to view the files. Checking the separations and toggling 2 documents. It would be great, if you work on this. Slowness is very much frustrating.

12. Shortcut for 'Add Note to Text'

    A shortcut – ideally a keyboard shortcut – for 'Add Note to Text' would be very helpful for the editors and proofreaders among us. To select the text, right-click and find 'Add Note to Text' is cumbersome when you're using that particular feature more than any other (the Sticky Note is much maligned by designers and reviewers alike for not being specific enough to the text to which it relates).

    It would also make lots more sense in the context of the comment-as-you-type functionality for inserting or deleting text, etc. Surely it would be logical to create an equivalent keyboard-centred shortcut for 'Add Note to Text' to save constant switching between keyboard and mouse clicking for markup?

    A perfect solution would be Ctrl + Alt + M, which mirrors MS Word's shortcut (and effectively gives you the same function). And given it's likely to be used a lot by editors who are also using that shortcut in Word, it would feel natural to many. In terms of Adobe products, it would only cut across the shortcut in Illustrator for inserting a thin space, which doesn't seem a massive issue.

    If not a keyboard shortcut, then at the very least a different Quick Tool button on the Quick Tool Bar (or even the nice new Quick Tool palette that hovers above text when you select it).

14. Acrobat OCR

    When modifying a scanned document, Acrobat automatically launches an OCR process, which is indeed very useful. But, as I work either in French or in English, very often the language is not appropriate and it is only AFTER this process that the language is displayed. In the case of a bad language choice, I have to change the language and Acrobat restarts the OCR process with the correct language. So, I would like to suggest to add (perhaps as an option to be set in the preference dialog box) BEFORE the start of the OCR process the display of a dialog box with the choice of the appropriate language, in order to avoid a double work.

    The program needs an eraser (I've been telling Adobe techs this for years) If you need an example, download a trial version of Bluebeam Revu. Take a look at their crop, eraser, cut and flatten tools. You guys need to step up your game!

18. Make it possible to copy highlighted text

    It should be possible to copy the text easily from a highlight. Right now, this is almost impossible. (One had to switch to the Edit tool). Why not create a Copy Highlight item in the context menu. Or, when one clicks on and selects a highlight, why not simply let CMD-C do the job?
