  1. New floating quick toolbar to be stacked in the new acrobat experience
the new floating bar covers the document areas and it is very annoying. User should be given the option to be able to stack the bar up down right or left.

  2. I recently reinstalled Adobe on my PC, after reinstalling it I now keep getting the Getting Started Pop up with every file I open. I open over a 100 PDF files a day so this gets really annoying really fast. Is there a bug in the system or something I'm not clicking on to make it recognize that these messages have already been shown to me?

  3. Side panel page navigation are you stupid? who looks at the bottom right corner. at the very least let me choose what tools go where and the floating toolbar on the left is just lazy. finally if you are going to roll out a new one for all that is holy let me move my customizations with me.

  4. Bad new version, difficult to work with, difficult to understand new features, not found the possibilty to move taskbars (i would like to have the taskbar on the top of the screen, not on the side, and I was not able to find how to move it. Defenitely, the worst version I worked with in the last 15 years. Moreover, i tried to go back to the old version but it didn't work.

  5. This new version of adobe reader is not useful at all. I have just wasted a half hour trying to find the "Find" tool. I want the old version back - I wasn't even offered an option to keep it even without support. When things are not broke, don't trying fixing them.

  6. The latest update to Adobe is terrible. Please revert back to support the old version

Everything takes way longer and functions are now hidden within other functions

also why did you swap the side that the tools are on? it makes no sense.

  7. Just came here to say how much I hate the new look. Pages should be on left, tools on right!

  8. Allow all users to choose how they use toolbars, so they can set it up to however they work. This means allowing them to turn it on or off. If on, allow users to dock it to whatever part of the screen they want it on, top, bottom, left or right. And finally, allow them to expand the toolbar to be able to read the names OR have just the icons themselves. The new version isn't that bad, the users just need to know where the tools are, so they can use them. So my final suggestion is to have…

  9. New update is making it difficult to use Adobe for simple PDF things as previously used. We may have to unfortunately cancel our subscription if we are not allowed to revert to the previous version and use another PDF viewing and editing software.

  10. I hate the features bar on the right side. It is not natural to go to the bottom of a window to change the zoom or use tools that should be on the top ribbon. Please allow users to choose where they would like these tools. This is a horrible user experience and should definitely something people should be allowed to choose. This is going to cause so much more work for me when I need to comment a bunch on a document because I will have to click on a menu to get a comment box. I sometimes have…

  11. Not being able to move the side bar to the top is ridiculous. Just a terrible layout that is not productive. Good software is written to be highly customizable, not locking the user into what you think is best.

  12. The new layout with for Adobe Pro with the tools on the left and the pages/bookmarks on the right is much harder to use. After so many years, why were they switched around? Please bring back the search field so that I can find tools. Everything I use is now hidden under layers of menus and really small icons.

  13. I think it is a very bad thing if a software manufacturer implements major changes such as the totally new design of acrobat pro. I didn't get any notic. it was just there. the handling is ****. Sorry but it is. My quick tool bar was gone. The tools wer gone to the left side. in Short: Without notifying the customer, it is a no go!
Not even the support knew about this instantly. They had to look it up?! And if you intent to forward critiscm, no one feels responsible. To what sort of company have you been developing.…

  14. Almost every time I open Acrobat, whether on restart or wake-up, the locations of interface items changes. Today, "Recent files" is populated with the contents of my starred folder. Which is great because usually my starred folder is inexplicably empty, Today it's recent files that's empty.

Regularly I'm greeted with "Bytes not Ready" when performing basic commands.

Then I get some messages that are upside down and backwards! What is that?!

Signatures weren't available last week but they're back now!

As many others have suggested about going back to the old interface - Mine does that about every 8th time…

  16. I not sure, recently, adobe set the reader as adobe acrobat DC and the same name with the adobe acrobat DC pro (subscription) and it is kind of sad that developer of adobe dont think of people who just need a reader, sometime swing the adobe subscription licenses to share between the staff. The tech support said adobe acrobat DC reader is part of the adobe acrobat DC pro.

So why we cannot have Adobe acrobat DC reader and adobe acrobat DC pro application in 1 machine. Why.. in the old DC version we are able to use as reader…

  17. Hi all,

can any of you tell me how to set Photoshop as the default for opening images from Acrobat Pro DC (macOS Monterey)?

Whenever I click on an image under "Edit PDF" with the "Edit" tool, the preview is displayed in the "Edit with" submenu. When I say "open with" I can select Photoshop. However, I would like to use Photoshop as the default here so that I don't always have to select the programme under "Open with".

I had actually remembered that I could set this in the settings under the item "Touch up". Unfortunately, this menu item…

  18. Internal hyperlinks, cross-reference hyperlinks, and TOC hyperlinks made in the latest version of MS Word 365 are not retained by PDF Maker.

    Affects: Word 365 version 2109 14430.20270
    Adobe Acrobat 2021.007.0095 and
Adobe PDF Maker 21 (Library 21.7.123)

These errors are in addition to others listed for PDF Mader at https://acrobat.uservoice.com/forums/590923-acrobat-for-windows-and-mac/suggestions/44183082-accessibility-errors-with-pdf-maker-update-sept-20

Hyperlinks from Word are non-functional when exported to PDF via PDF Maker. Affects both traditional hyperlinks and accessible hyperlinks:

    — Traditional internal hyperlinks are not clickable.
    — Accessible internal hyperlinks are missing the <Link> / <Link-OBJR> compound tag that provides an accessible hyperlink.

    — TOC hyperlinks are not clickable…

Thanks for your patience. We have investigated this issue and found that this has broken with a recent Office update and would require a fix from Microsoft.

This has also been raised on Microsoft fourms in several threads and acknowledged and it seems they are investigating this issue. Please follow these threads for updates.

  19. Acrobat Pro DC, Continuous Release | Version 2021.005.20058

ALL or NONE is not enough. In previous versions, we had more player control options in the drop-down list. See this video in forum post from May 2022.

    https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/re-doesn-t-show-video-controls-to-play-and-stop-branched-amp-moved-from-acro-reader/m-p/12071983#M314407

What happened to the other options?

There is no way to stop the video once it starts playing. That's terrible for usability reasons.

Please bring back more player control options.

  20. Some vendors who offer PDF creation allow you to monitor usage of their products. Sine Adobe is the highest costing PDF creator it would be useful for enterprise admin to track usage. Currently we are being asked to monitor this from our end. it is pushing us to a different product that allows us to track product usage.
