  1. We are using Windows Information Protection to protect company data and documents. Since Acrobat Reader works only in work mode and private documents are also considered as work content. It would be great if the software can be configured as enlighten app so that it can also use in personal mode.

  2. It's not an idea, it's a request to stop crashing!!
I'm trying to edit documents, it has now crashed on me 4 times and I've lost my work each time. I pay monthly, this should not be happening.

  3. After last update, there is a change in how creating form is working. Form editing (creatin) now contain text edit, which is for me higly unwanted feature, since there is no turn on/off. I am editing 30+ fields in once and selecting all of them is impossible. My form has lot of text boxes and while creating pdf, i dont need them to edit anymore. I just want to edit form fields. Once you mouse down or mouse up on any text, it will ruin the multiple select of fields and start editing text. We are using old version becasue…

  4. Adobe Acrobat Pro DC constantly freezes for 5 to 10 seconds, then works for a few seconds, then repeats the cycle. It did this for a couple weeks, then seemed better for a day or two, and is now seems worse. I am using Windows 10. It is to the point that it is almost unusable and tremendously frustrating. The header at the top will say Not Responding frequently.

  5. This is an impossible interface. Go back to the drawing board and look to the layouts before you 'streamlined for mobile devices' which is not how most of use use Acrobat Pro for routing documents in review.

  6. Please revert back to an older version. I hate the new DC version. I used to be able to have my frequently used toolbars readily available when I opened acrobat. Now I have to use several additional clicks to get to the tools I need. It defeats the purpose of paying for acrobat when it defaults to nothing more than a reader. I've spent considerable time looking for a setting to leave the toolbars on the side of my extremely wide screen, but they are well hidden if available at all, and I refuse to sign in to anything.

  8. Please, please can we have the option to show the Zoom Value (percentage) on the main toolbar. I can't use the 'out of toolbar' display as it disappears, and can't keep taking the mouse down to show the disappearing toolbar every time I want to know what zoom value I'm at.

    Thanks
    Mike

  10. When the "Comment" menu is open, copy and paste are disabled, until the menu is closed. So in the process of adding mark ups and comments, you need to open the Comment menu to add a mark up, then close it to copy and paste to use that markup else where on that page or another, then re-open the comment menu, and continue back and forth.

The copy and paste option must be available with the comment menu open or the functionality of the program, which we use primarily to mark up and comment on pdf's, is totally lost.

  11. In previous versions the Ctrl+F box would appear and you would type your text and hit enter. When searching your next text using the Ctrl+F shortcut would automatically highlight the last search text so you could automatically start typing your new 'find' text. With the new update, it doesn't highlight the last search text, instead it puts the cursor at the end of your last text making you backspace the text or stop and click to highlight the text. This is a huge efficiency loss!! Please help!

  14. I'd love a way to tag reviewers in a comment—or in a reply to an existing comment—in a review PDF (hosted internally) that's set up for Shared Commenting, so that they may be notified via email of the comment in the document.

Some reviewers proof the document early, make a comment, and then never revisit the shared review PDF, so if someone replies to their comment, they do not see it. That has left the onus of communicating the missed replies and being a go-between on a single person in our organization.

  15. A free-hand pen tool would be in Adobe's best interest. This tool would allow users to mark a PDF with a digital pen of sorts.

Other document editors that are inferior in many other ways have been winning out with both myself and many other consumers because of the free-hand drawing & annotating capablities.

  16. Acrobat DC, Windows 10, 16 GB RAM, relatively fast processor.

    (1) I frequently must OCR documents of 2,000 pages or more. With Acrobat for Mac (which I used from 2012 to 2018), I could start the OCR process, go away for an hour or two or three, and it would be finished with the entire document when I returned. With Acrobat DC for Windows, if I try to OCR more than about 150 pages at a time, Acrobat will crash. Not immediately, but after it's run for 10 minutes or so. All progress will be lost. I will have to…

  18. New format of listing documents that have been sent for e-sign is LESS functional than former Dashboard features. Documents were categorized by status; you could easily see to whom documents were sent and if they were viewed; you could quickly access functions for reminders. New design is not workable for business people who send lots of e-sign documents.

  19. I do not like the fact that I cannot just simply send a PDF as an email attachment any longer with the new upgrade 10-3-18.

Having to go through all the steps of going the the share process is very inconvenient when you have to send hundreds of different PDF through the course of the day.

  20. My tab order is correct under "prepare form" but when I preview it is incorrect. The issue occurs when I tag the document. I am unable to change the tab order. If I try to change the reading order by dragging items around other items will jump around and it creates a mess that's worse than what I started with. I have to choose between an untagged pdf that is a fillable form with correct tab order or a tagged pdf that is still technically a fillable form, but with a weird reading order and tab order. Please fix this.
