  1. When creating a form field in an editable PDF, applying the "hidden" property for the field renders it uneditable, not invisible. I've created several forms, and just recently had this happen, and all of my other previously created forms that have hidden fields are now opening with visible fields.

  3. Nothing in Acrobat DC feels natural or with a glimpse of intuitive. Adobe tends to override OS given interface interaction limiting it to its Adobe application which is by itself insanely unintuitive. I mean who drove you [the engineering team] to this Interface? Ugly, bloated and counterproductive, not to mention the lack of customization. But this is a path clearly visible in all Adobe applications. Either Adobe reduces its Applications to nearly zero (Lightroom = the *** Cloud version for Desktop) or bloating it until needlessness (Illustrator).
It just creates anger and hate to the one that must accept working…

  4. When I used to create PDFs from Word documents in Windows 7, the PDF would automatically inherit the Title, Subject, and Author properties.

In Windows 10/Acrobat Pro 17 this is no longer the case. All of these fields are blank.

I don't know if this is a change in Acrobat or Word (Office 365), but it's a major pain to set these properties manually every time.

  6. Hello

I am using the Adobe Sign service via API.

Sometimes a problem occurs when a signer enters his phone authentication code in the Adobe user interface (browser on smartphone).

Here is a brief description, step by step:
1 - The signer receives the link to the Agreement
2 - By clicking on the link, the user (signer) opens the agreement in his browser (usually on his smartphone): the authentication screen appears.
3 - If the user (signer) selects the "SMS" mode and taps "OK", the SMS with the authentication code is sent correctly.
    4 - But once the user…

  7. Up until a few days ago I was able to very easily go down the list of documents that were pending and see who viewed them and who has or has not signed. Now I have to open each document one at a time to see that. Can we bring the quick preview back?

  8. I have customized the Quick Tools bar, but it only appears to the right of the other tools in one ribbon, therefore there isn't enough room for all of the custom tools to appear all the time. I am constantly having to hit the three dots to get to my most frequently used toold. I don't appear to have a way to move my quick toolbar below the other one, or to the right of the screen.

Also, I thought there was a way to customize which tools I saw to the right of the document window. I remember dragging…

  9. The installation of Acrobat Pro DC on Mac using the Creative Cloud desktop app fails with error code 101 (see attached screenshot).

Looking at the attached install.log file in /Library/logs/Adobe/Installers I see that ASUInstaller exits with error code 183.

  10. Previous versions of Acrobat were capable of linking to a specific page in another file (document). DC10 apparently does not have that capability.

  12. just like docusign, add a duplicate feature in case a document needs corrections or needs just a minor change once it has already been sent.

I have a template but a customer asked me to change his name, in this case I had to cancel and create a new sign document from the template, nothing else changed, just the name.... there should be some way to be able to correct and/or duplicate rather thn having to re-type the whole thing.

  15. I cannot upgrade to a newer OS to see if this corrects my problem. Company IT controlled MacBook, licensed to use Creative Cloud. Acrobat DC is having issues opening simple low to medium resolution PDFs. Will just spin and not respond. Have to force quit and relaunch. I can't pinpoint the cause - happens if I have one file open or 10, happens if I add a comment or click on one, happens if I do nothing and just have a file open while working in other programs. I can't tell if it's because our company's system is Microsoft-based and…

  19. Adobe does not allow users, even users at organizations with MANY CREATIVE CLOUD LICENSES USED DAILY, to add custom fonts to Creative Cloud.

I want to add Respective 2.0 font to a user's machine for use in document creation. She is unable to do so. Truly unacceptable that adding fonts requires Adobe to keep a pre-approved online font repository.

  20. Exporting to Word is USELESS as is. Here's a screenshot of the conversion. Added a page; reflow of text; fonts and styling are a wild guess at best; logo/branding unusable.

Why even have this feature if this is the result? USELESS a hundred times over.
