  1. I used to have a permanent license to an earlier version that worked flawlessly. My employer forced me into this 2 year license version and it has been a vastly inferior experience. This version is slow to launch, slow to open documents, frequently freezes. This is very likely the last license I will purchase. I am left with the impression that Adobe wanted to prioritize revenue and deliver an inferior product. I used to be a promoter of Acrobat- no more.

  2. I use Acrobat on both Windows PC and Mac (latest Windows 11 and Macos14 sonoma). I downloaded Acrobat from Creative Cloud and kept it updated all the time. A few months ago i found the Acrobat UI was changed on my Mac and when i finally got used to the new UI, recently it just changed back to the old version again by itself and i no longer saw the UI switch button. It's really annoying. And one interesting thing is, the Acrobat UI on my Windows PC never changed even though i used the same account in Creative Cloud. …

  3. The ability to customise keyboard shortcuts, despite what some of your staff seem to think, is an important accessibility feature.
I find what Adobe can do amazing, it's however very held back by its poor usability. Among the worst example is the fact that commonly used shortcuts, which have the same function for almost all other apps, for some reason have different functions in Acrobat. The number of times that an incorrect shortcut has interrupted the flow of work (because, of course, I can't find the well-hidden tool that will fix the problem I'd just inadvertently created) means that quite…

  5. This is a bug, not an idea: since the latest update (acrobat Pro 2023.006.20320) there is no possibility to permanent show the page sizes in the lower left corner of an opened PDF file, although the corresponding checkbox is enabled in the preferences.

  6. With the newest updates, when you click on an image to move or edit it, there is now a new option popup but the popup is constantly covering the image. So you can't actually click the image to edit it because that popup keeps covering it. You can see in my image the blue dots of the image I'm trying to edit but the options right in front of it.

  7. Please provide an easy 1-click way to completely hide all extrenuous panes when opening any document. This means :

    • No bookmaarks on the right.
    • No tools on the left.

There are a mess of settings all over the place, and comments on previous related issues to multiple steps to take, but all these seem out of date. This should be a single 1-click check box in the main preferences, completely overriding all other settings.

Even better: Acrobat Reader should learn from the fact that I close these panes every single time I open the app (multiple times per day), and…

  8. In the most recent update, the footer area where the page size is displayed when the 'always show page size' option is ticked in prefs is hidden.

if the option is unticked then on hover the page size appears, but the more useful permanent view has been broken.

Please reinstate or allow a rollback

  9. I want to suggest a couple of tweaks to the new Acrobat UI design that I want to see incorporated soon. First, I would like to see the placements of the tool and sidebars reversed; as an English language user, I feel it is more intuitive to make the most frequently used options on the sidebar near the beginning of the document, on the left side of the screen. Secondly, I would love to see the bug altering my preferences for documents every time I close the app and launch it again removed. It is very frustrating in light of…

  10. Was there a reason for putting everything along all three sides and making it difficult to find the "settings" option? At least when everything was along the top and tools on one side, it was easy to use and I could find everything I needed quickly. This new format is frustrating.

  11. I don't like the new update so I saw we had the option to switch back to the old version, which I did. It wad working just fine for me. Have you ever heard, 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it'? I only want to update a date I added at the top of the page, but now we CANNOT change the size of the text box even in the old version. So when I try to make the update, it changes more of the text that I want it to and screws up the top of the document.

  12. the latest Adobe update rolled out a new UI look for the viewing screen. The Quick Tool box in the upper left corner lays over the search box and it makes it difficult to see what is being typed into the search field

  13. Move the Zoom Buttons, Page Navigation, and Page Number display BACK to the top center where I'm expecting them to be. This is NOT simplifying your design, it is interfering with my productivity for absolutely no reason. The simplest design is the one I'm already familiar with.

  14. Where is it?
    - Undo button
    - Save As

My Adobe Acrobat was updated ‎August ‎24, ‎2023, I don't even know where to look for these functions.

  15. I am sure that lots of now-retired people - myself included - who used (and loved) Adobe Acrobat Pro in their professional lives would be happy to pay for access to that software if there was pricing that considered that we now are living on carefully managed fixed incomes. Please consider offering a discount for seniors. Thank you.

  16. I'd like to give feedback on how clunky the new layout/design of Adobe DC is. I really strongly dislike the zoom icons being down in the bottom right corner of screen. Why can't they be next to the save icon?
Also, the tools menu should be put back on the right side of screen where the other tools are, to save us from having to flick between menus on both the left and right of screen.

  17. Where did the title bar go in Adobe Acrobat Pro? First you raise the price, then you update the program and took away the title bar. Horrible new design. Please bring back the ability of paying customers to show the title bar (File, Edit, Sign, Window, Help). Thank you.

  18. I used to be able to add text boxes anywhere on an existing PDF form. Now, if the place I want to put a text box is already a text box, it force me to write within that text box and edits it as I type. Like if there's a line in place, my text pushes the line out, instead of sitting on top of the line like it did before. Can you fix this please? Also the program seems much slower now than before.

  20. Please make the Prepare Forms/Fields panel able to increase size side to side. I use long names for the fields and need to see them in whole. I use a wide monitor and don't need to see as much pasteboard when I work fill fields. The Comments panel can stretch side to side and I could really use that ability with the Fields panel.
