  1. Acrobat's new Autotag utility re-tags the entire document.

Sometimes most of the PDF is fine and I just need to correct one page or a portion of content that I've selected.

But we can't do that: right now, it's all or nothing.

Give us the option to autotag the entire document, a single page, or the content we have selected with our cursor. Keep the other tags that are already in the PDF.

  2. I've used this tool for years and have turned to 3rd party vendors for better options. Adobe should step in and revamp this tool.

For me the issue with this tool is the processing features. I cannot add multiple folders containing multiple files and output aggregate PDF's that correspond to each folder. The same is true with more complex file/folder structures where I may wish to add and combine specific sub-folders from specific directories into aggregated PDF's.

Moreover, the file naming features could benefit from an upgrade in features. I'd like to have the option of renaming a new aggregate…

  3. To secure PDF files, we do password protection and share via link.
However, once file is shared via link, this link is still valid for ages and anyone who knows the password can download.
Can we put a expiry date for this sharing link so that we can control the PDF files expiry protect our files. This will some what restrict any 3rd party websites/apps trying to remove password from PDF

  4. I consider your entire software to be one big bug, a total *-up of a so called program. But to be sepcific: If I enter a signed doc into another big doc, I get no warning (!). HOWEVER - If I later need to delete that signed doc, or the entire doc, I'm not allowed. So the entire main big doc is ***! The "reasonining" acc to your "support" is that a signed doc should not be possible to "alter". Well - I'm not trying to ALTER it by means of changing the content (which makes snese

  6. This is a bug report. Typically Enhancing a scan triggers an error message (which is attached). This error message at the very beginning of the enhanced scan. The path shown in the error message does exist. I've reinstalled several times.

  8. PDF will either give me an error message or only upload to 72% then stop. I've let it sit for almost an hour and the PDF is only half a page long, is there a fix for this?

  9. After the Adobe DC update- installed without user authorization- every Windows 7 computer in the household froze. Nothing worked. I thought the cause was a recent Microsoft update until I checked a laptop on which the ONLY update was Adobe DC. Once again, Adobe has caused a headache. On forums I see that freezing and compatibility are known issues. I don't have TIME for this. Adobe needs to fix bugs BEFORE issuing updates.

  11. [BUG]
Description: After initially correcting the orientation of the PDF and then highlighting where needed, I then decided to use the find tool to find a word in my PDF. Unfortunately, the PDF was an image and so Acrobat had to enhance the scan to try and search for the word. After enhancing, the page orientation stayed the same but the highlight seemed to rotate itself in the orientation of the original document and not the corrected orientation as shown below.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1) Have a file with text that is scanned in vertically and is viewed as an…

  12. The popups aligned to the edge of the document make interface difficult to use, is there a way to open without it? Have it turned off but get pdfs from others and it's very very hard to use, to see the comments without opening a huge window, then I have to try to see it and the window I'm editing at the same time. Please make a way to set these inside so I can see them. Thank you.

  13. If you use quotes (“) anywhere in the message body, Adobe Sign will fail at 60% with this error when you click on the “Specify Where To Sign” button or “More Options” link.

It had no problem with the ($) and the (/) characters.

  14. Add the following:
    1. The time in addition to date stamp by the signature
    2. The name of program should be on each page as a header or footer, not only on the document history page.

The state of Georgia now has their own background check form and requires these features in order for the form to be electronically signed.

  15. We have PDF maker plug in for excel and same has been published in Citrix environment. When user try to use the plugin it does not give them sign in prompt and through license error. User have to launch acrobat first in order to activate the license and then use the PDF maker plug in. This solution is not feasible as Acrobat is not a published application in our citrix site and also this is additional step which users do not prefer.

  16. I want to compare signed documents. I don't want to change them - just compare to identify changes. Been beating my head against the wall and I cannot understand the logic that prevents using compare.

    Hi,

Greetings! I am sorry to hear that you are facing issues with the compare feature.
It would be great if you could help us with a few queries that will help us in investigating the bug:
    - What is the version of Acrobat Pro and the OS that you are using currently?
    - Could you please share the workflow that you’re using while using the Compare tool?
    - Could you please share some sample files with us so that we could reproduce the issue at our end?

For info on how to share the files with us, please read the steps below :

To share the file using Adobe send – cloud.acrobat.com/send
    - Open the above mentioned link
    – Click on “Select files to Send”
    – Click link “Choose file from my computer” and Select the file
    – Click on “Add Files”, if you have more files to add…

  18. The GIANT icons! The in-app sending that doesn't work! The childishness of the design and interface! The distance from the powerful controls that I have come to use and count on from decades of using Acrobat pro and seeing it grow in capacity and power.

    Every
    Single
    Time
I open this, save a document, send a document, reset the screen again to show thumbnails, I curse you all.

How can it be both harder to use and more childish?

  19. When sending out a document for review via Adobe DC, an email is generated that notifies the recipient of the review. The email notification defaults to PST. Please include an Adobe Document Cloud Account Preference option that includes an option to set a time zone so the local time zone is accurate when deadlines are emailed to the recipient.
A time zone setting is available in the preferences for your signature settings but not for the document review.

Each time I have to close the annoying start-up screen where the last documents are displayed. I don’t need it! Please provide an option again to disable this feature as it where in past versions of Acrobat. Thank you.
