  1. I am on Windows 10 64-bit, on a Dell XPS 15 9500 with a 4K screen.

Here is the link to the video where I compare text box resizing between Microsoft Word 365 and Acrobat DC Pro v22.002.20212
    https://felixwong.photos/s/iLLYsgeRZeZRMYN

On any other word processor app, resizing a text box is intuitive and fast. While on DC Pro, the cursor switches between "Move" and "Rotate" more often than land on "Resize". Some times I need to zoom in to 150% or 200% just to be able to nail the "resize" tool.
As you can see in the attached photo, my cursor…

  2. With the latest update of Acrobat (2024.002.20895) I have been experiencing issues reading, completing, and interacting with PDF forms using both JAWS and NVDA screen readers. The screen reader keeps leaving forms mode when I'm in fields. Instead of typing into the field, it recognizes my keystrokes as JAWS commands. For example, when I try to type "Henry" in a Name field, pressing "H" makes it jump to the next heading in the document instead of typing the character(s). I have confirmed that I am in forms mode (both visually and via the sound…

  3. I want to be able to take a filled out and digitally signed (by somebody else) form and save it as an unfilled and unsigned version of itself.

Many times I have had to go searching over slow company intranet for a blank unsigned version of a form because the only ones I have locally are signed versions. I've even had to re-do letters from scratch because either I didn't save a blank version, or accidentally saved over the blank copy without thinking about it. I know that we can't clear a signature that is not our own, but would…

  5. In Adobe Sign, when a keyboard or AT user activates the Customize Field control, a dialog appears on the left-hand side of the screen (Customize Field dialog). Keyboard focus does not reliably move to this dialog - it appears to land on Required Field, but pressing tab returns the users to navigating through fields. Keyboard users are not able to access the customize field controls as navigating to them via TAB and Shift+Tab changes the selected field, thus altering the contents of the customize field dialog.

  7. When creating a Binder that includes the same underlying PDF/pages multiple times, it would be great to be able to turn off the feature that puts the same text into the same fields in each PDF. For example, if someone using my Binder has 3 children named John, Jane and Robert, I'd like the ability to say whether when they fill in John on the first page/pdf, it appears in the 2nd and 3rd pages/pdfs or not, without having to create different underlying PDFs with different field names. Thanks for considering this update!

  8. When creating an Adobe Sign template, I need to be able to set the tab order of fields.

I can't use Adobe Sign for any moderately complex form (like an order form) because the form's field order drives my customers crazy.

  9. Talking about signature boxes but it applies to all forms in Form Editing

When you select the signature box tool using your keyboard and hit enter, it places the box dead center in your screen rather than just selecting the signature box for placement with your mouse. This only started doing this after my adobe DC pro updated on Nov 5/2020

Happening on Windows Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, 20.013.20064

  10. Redact tool is removing all lowercase letters 'i' and 'L' from my document (and possibly some 't'), as well as adding the black boxes to redact text.

  11. On a Mac in Default Mode, it should be possible to copy highlighted text by using the keyboard shortcut.

Now, all you can do is select the highlighted parts and right-click -> Copy Text. Why shouldn't it be possible to select the highlighted parts and press Cmd+C?

Doing the extra clicking work is very labor intensive when working with a lot of previously highlighted paragraphs.

  12. It should be simple to create a method by which two or more consecutive text boxes can be linked in a chain. This would allow a user to continue typing from the end of one line onto the next without having to hit Tab or click into the subsequent box. In other words, continuous entry.

The closest option to this that exists at present is Multiline, but that is useful only for text areas that completely align from left to right. That, of course, is not always the case with real-world forms, and it seems time for a more…

  14. Holding the Command key (Mac) or Control key (Windows) should allow for selecting/highlighting multiple, separate characters or words within a text field. Similar to how the Shift key can be used to select/highlight a single range of characters.

This would allow easier batch modification, to be used when making many singular characters within a paragraph into subscripts, for instance. Command or Control-selecting each character to be modified then enables the user to only have to click the subscript button once, instead of for each character after highlighting.

  15. When opening a PDF exported from Adobe Illustrator in Acrobat Pro, text that has been converted to outlines (curves) is displayed incorrectly. The issue affects the visual appearance of the outlined text, which appears thicker or distorted compared to the intended design. This problem is visible only in Acrobat Pro and does not occur in Illustrator or some other PDF viewers.

    Steps to Reproduce:

    1. Create a document in Adobe Illustrator with text elements.

    2. Convert all text to outlines (Object > Expand or Create Outlines).

    3. Export the file to PDF using standard export settings.

    4. Open the resulting PDF in Acrobat…

  17. Changing text size / color used to work fine until a forced update to Acrobat DC today to 19.021.20048.
Now selecting a comment and changing text size or color seems to work the first time I try to use the feature after opening the document.
After that I either don't get the popup to change text size / color; or if the popup shows and I click on the color box (change color) no additional popup for color change comes up.
    Using Windows 7 laptop.

  18. Adobe has just been updated on my computer.

Examples uploaded of what is happening now, and what I used to be able to do. I have hidden confidential information, apologies for this.

I used to be able to draw a text box to make it of a certain width before I started typing, and as I would type the text box would expand downwards as needed. Then if I needed to I could adjust the width afterwards as well.

I can no longer draw the text box to a certain width and despite having the little spots to…

  19. The New Acrobat Pro experience has broken the Edit - Add Text feature.
In the old experience, if one clicked on the "Edit" icon then all existing objects such as text boxes would be shown and one could edit text inside them. If one clicked on the "Add Text" icon then those existing objects would no longer show their boxes nor be editable so one could position the cursor over such a box and add text which would create a new text box. This is the way it is supposed to be and lets one easily add Text to…
