Highlight and Adding Text workflow is cumbersome
I often highlight and add text to PDFs. The current workflow is cumbersome, especially when I need to switch from one feature to other.
Given that it's a premium product, I find that there are just so many unnecessary toolbar options visible while the tools I need often require multiple clicks and cumbersome navigation.
I often find myself hiding all toolbars left, top and right. Worst part is app doesn't remember my settings so I have to hide these toolbars everytime.
Would be nice to have a student mode which provides a light mode version, allowing highlighting and adding/deleting text…

BUG Text callout box not updating while edited, this just started recently
(Using Acrobat DC on a MacBook Pro running Monterey 12.6.3), Continuous Release 2023.001.20143)
I annotate PDF page proofs constantly. Just recently the Text Callout box started not updating in real time as it's being edited. The revised text appears after cmd-S Save, but doesn't appear while being edited. This happens when editing an existing Text Callout box, and also when adding to a new one that appears below (rather than above) the text being pointed at

Batch superscript or subscript within a field
Holding the Command key (Mac) or Control key (Windows) should allow for selecting/highlighting multiple, separate characters or words within a text field. Similar to how the Shift key can be used to select/highlight a single range of characters.
This would allow easier batch modification, to be used when making many singular characters within a paragraph into subscripts, for instance. Command or Control-selecting each character to be modified then enables the user to only have to click the subscript button once, instead of for each character after highlighting.

Focus does not move to Customize Field controls
In Adobe Sign, when a keyboard or AT user activates the Customize Field control, a dialog appears on the left-hand side of the screen (Customize Field dialog). Keyboard focus does not reliably move to this dialog - it appears to land on Required Field, but pressing tab returns the users to navigating through fields. Keyboard users are not able to access the customize field controls as navigating to them via TAB and Shift+Tab changes the selected field, thus altering the contents of the customize field dialog.

COMMENTS: Changing text size & color works once then doesn't popup.
Changing text size / color used to work fine until a forced update to Acrobat DC today to 19.021.20048.
Now selecting a comment and changing text size or color seems to work the first time I try to use the feature after opening the document.
After that I either don't get the popup to change text size / color; or if the popup shows and I click on the color box (change color) no additional popup for color change comes up.

copy text from PDF including changes (e.g. made with "strikethrough" or "insert" tools)
In the commenting mode for Acrobat DC Pro, there are "strikethrough", "replace", and "insert text" tools, among others.
When I select and copy some text (for example, to count the words or rephrase it in another window), it copies the original text and disregards anything crossed out or inserted. This means I have to re-do all the changes by hand.
It would be great if one could copy the text in a way that incorporates the changes, similar to how you can opt to copy text with or without formatting, in some programs.

Save Signed Form as Cleared Unsigned Version of Itself
I want to be able to take a filled out and digitally signed (by somebody else) form and save it as an unfilled and unsigned version of itself.
Many times I have had to go searching over slow company intranet for a blank unsigned version of a form because the only ones I have locally are signed versions. I've even had to re-do letters from scratch because either I didn't save a blank version, or accidentally saved over the blank copy without thinking about it. I know that we can't clear a signature that is not our own, but would…

Font size displays incorrectly when editing text
The attached generated PDF files contain text which is 36pt in size.
When inspecting the text using Edit Text in 'original.pdf' the size is incorrectly shown as 48.
If the element is copied and pasted as in 'copied.pdf' the new element shows correctly as 36 and the original as 48.
Running a preflight check reports all text as 36.

PDF forms using JAWS and NVDA Screen readers with latest Acrobat update
With the latest update of Acrobat (2024.002.20895) I have been experiencing issues reading, completing, and interacting with PDF forms using both JAWS and NVDA screen readers. The screen reader keeps leaving forms mode when I'm in fields. Instead of typing into the field, it recognizes my keystrokes as JAWS commands. For example, when I try to type "Henry" in a Name field, pressing "H" makes it jump to the next heading in the document instead of typing the character(s). I have confirmed that I am in forms mode (both visually and via the sound…

Type of Form selection bug
Talking about signature boxes but it applies to all forms in Form Editing
When you select the signature box tool using your keyboard and hit enter, it places the box dead center in your screen rather than just selecting the signature box for placement with your mouse. This only started doing this after my adobe DC pro updated on Nov 5/2020

Users should be able to drag and drop text boxes (full of text or not) from one page to another.
When editing a PDF, users should be able to drag text boxes (full of text or not) from one page to another. This would allow easy rearrangement of previously populated PDFs or easy reformation of currently being created PDFs.

Enable Copying Highlighted Text on Mac w/ Cmd+C
On a Mac in Default Mode, it should be possible to copy highlighted text by using the keyboard shortcut.
Now, all you can do is select the highlighted parts and right-click -> Copy Text. Why shouldn't it be possible to select the highlighted parts and press Cmd+C?
Doing the extra clicking work is very labor intensive when working with a lot of previously highlighted paragraphs.

Please add a change default font, size, colour feature.
Can you please add the ability to let the user set a different 'default' font type, size, colour when creating forms? It adds significantly to the time used creating forms to have to change the font for every single text/field added.

Select all fields on a form and edit properties for the entire document, not just a page at a time.
There should be an option to select all fields on a form and edit the properties such as font color. Currently, you can only do this a page at a time. It would be such a time saver to be able to edit all of the fields on a form as a preference etc.

Reader DC crashes on drop-down list in a form pdf
When I try to fill this form: http://www.ru.emb-japan.go.jp/VISANDTOURISM/Visa/template/application.pdf -- which is a Visa application form at Japanese embassy in Moscow, Adobe reader DC crashes when I scroll down a Country/Region drop-down list.
I remember that this form have never had such problems in previous years (with earlier version of Acrobat Reader).
I have attached various information that may be useful.
