  1. Hi, I found an annoying ongoing issue. I use my daily tools box set (left side of the program window, when the document is opened). But without any reason, it's time to time reset by default and again and again, I must collect my new own...
    The next one is about the tools line on top of the window it's seen before you do not open any document (in the Home tab), the same issue...

  2. Please stop updating Adobe and making it less functional everytime. I just need a clean surface with a toolbar of my favorite tools at the top (e.g. marking things, the arrow, page navigation, text recognition). Stop the AI tools. Improve your text recognition. Almost everytime I get a new update, I end up being annoyed and disrupted in my workflow. This could be such an easy and clean tool. I would love to go back at least 2 versions, but that is not possible

  4. I routinely check, review, mark up records. I also use the markups to keep track of changes. Word documents are unacceptable because I need to keep a permanent record that work was done.

    PDF Exchange editor has a tool that lets me draw a polygon, and set the color blend mode so the polygon acts like a hilighter. I can use this to flag something that is an issue, use different colors to identify the type of issue, and whether or not it has been addressed/resolved.

  5. Current Behaviour - If a PDF document has a title present in the “Title” document property then the default initial view of Acrobat Reader and Acrobat PRO is set to "File Name" rather than the "Document Title".

    Impact - Acrobat's Accessibility Checks report the "Title" error while the title is already there. This requires the "Initial View" setting to be changed on each PDF manually.

    Desired Behaviour - Set the “Initial View” to “Document Title” as default when a PDF is opened on Acrobat Reader DC and Acrobat DC Pro.

  6. Left hand tool bar uses up extra space on the screen. Why can't this be moved to the top or right where there is already toolbars with extra space. See attached document for picture.

  7. You select "Send for Signature," add the email address, message contents, and files, then click next. Once you have passed this area, you are unable to add any more files. My company is creating leases and sometimes we will miss an addendum. Imagine completing 20-50 pages of a lease only to find you must restart the whole thing because you forgot to add a pet addendum. Believe it or not, it can be soul crushing.

  8. -It would be really great if you added a tool or section in the program to show a list of all highlighted areas with the ability to search and select between them.
    And also another section to do these for comments.

    1. Open a multi page pdf
    2. Open Organize pages tool (my files are over 50 pages)
    3. Set view that you can see several pages and the page control appears on the right side of the screen.
    4. Enter a page number into the page control and press the enter key.
    5. Press the enter key again.

    Results: Either nothing happens (first time clicking <enter>) or the Organize pages tool closes (second time clicking <enter>). This makes the page control useless within Organize pages. I have to larger documents I'm trying to sort out and this is making it **** difficult to do!

    The artifacting error is not fully functioning within Acrobat's tools as of July 2022 with the current beta version.

    I and my collegues created a custom stamp on Excel and this stamp has text fields and a text field for the signature. Kindly look attached file. We would like to work with our custom stamp on our invoices and on our delivery notes within our workflow.     Looking at the current layout, half the screen is wasted on stuff I’ll never use:
    • Curated project ads like “Unlock your sales potential with TED” — this isn’t why I opened Acrobat.
    • AI features pushing “summarize your notes” when all I want is to view and edit PDFs.

  14. Behavior is on Windows 7 | Acrobat Pro XI version 11.0.23

    When running OCR (English and Italian) previous drawing markups (Free Form Tool) and highlights are corrupted. Free forms were rotated 90 degrees and translated, while highlights were moved up about 2.5 lines. I attached a word document with screenshots of the behavior. This behavior messed up highlighting work by a professor at Indiana University.

  16. Either allow print settings to be included in the Quick Tools at the top, or move "Print Current View" as a choice under Pages to Print without having to go to More Options first. I spend a lot of time printing details from PDFs and it takes three extra steps, each time. Also, Print Current View doesn't quite match with the display on the print settings.

  17. My old adobe used to keep the comments tab open. This updated version closes it constantly, anytime I press escape out of one of the comment tools and it's a pain. I do a lot of markups using adobe and it makes me want to just print and hand-redline the drawings instead. PLEASE bring back the "always open" option for the comments tab...

  18. The distribute tool buttons that are available when editing forms appear to be mislabeled compared to other programs like Illustrator and InDesign. The button that has the symbol to distribute horizontally distributed selected form elements vertically. The tool tip also seems to be mislabeled.

  19. Build and make available a PDF recovery tool for your paying licensed users. From time to time a PDF will corrupt and will not open. Often a ton of work has gone into assembling/noting/creating that file. There are options on the web that are "pay for recovery". However, I do not want to put sensitive corporate data into some site on the web to "try" and recover it. Nor am I interested in purchasing a recovery software from an unknown vendor that again "may" recover the file. I don't know what else that app is doing with the data in…
