  1. You need to clean-up / simplify your comment circle icons, the previous version had non-distracting icons, in the newest version all I can pay attention to is how poor the "text-replace" icon is, scales poorly.

  2. In Mac O.S 10.13.6: the selection color is by default blue, it is not taking the system color . Tried with Acrobat XI pro and even Acrobat Reader same thing. Checked in Mac o.s : 10.14 as well, the same .

  3. In Acrobat DC I'm fnding it very difficult to move comments (e.g. a text box) once it has been placed. The Move cursor disappears and simply doesn't come back. I place comments on recruitment forms, both signed and new ones, and I need to move comments around simply and easily on the form. I don't have time to struggle with it, or to wait hoping a move cursor might appear.

  4. This occurs when using an Acrobat Portfolio. When I use Ctrl+F to open the search menu there is no way to close the menu after I finish searching. I have tried pressing Esc and clicking Ctrl+F again. It stays there if I switch documents/portfolios and even if I close the portfolios. Kind of a pain to completely close Adobe DC just to get rid of the search menu.

Is there a setting I need to change to correctly display the search menu? If not, it would be great to get this fixed in a future update.

  5. Since Adobe Pro is asking for a password for every document we try to edit or combine. Appears same happened last year when a new version was released. https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2452664

  8. Hello,

a few days ago, Acrobat Pro DC was upgraded to version 2019 a

today I found that it shows the wrong CMYK values for Output Intents.

To calibrate RIP, I have created in Adobe Illustrator PDF-X4 file with CMYK values. I checked out that Acrobat showed me poor CMYK values.

  9. Three problems with the new update on Acrobat, all relating to text-edit comments. 1) Underline, strikethrough, replace, and insert are now represented only by arcane symbols in the comment pane. Before, there used to be the actual words "underline", "strikethrough", "replace", or "insert." Such text labels are gone, and they don't even appear with a mouse-over. This is awful. I work a lot with clients who are less familiar with Acrobat comment functionality, and this only makes it less clear for them. Bring back the text labels for the comment pane entries. 2) You know not everyone uses Acrobat in…

  10. In a PDF file created from FrameMaker 2017 by printing a book to a file with Adobe Printer (using the standard job options) and then distilling a .ps file, certain Kanji characters in Meiryo font are not searchable. However, the same characters in MS Gothic font are searchable.

In the attached PDF file, for example, there are 5 occurrences of character string 入力. 2 of them are Meiryo font (highlighted in yellow) and 3 of them are MS Gothic font (highlighted in pink).

You cannot find 入力 in yellow (Meiryo) but you can find them in MS Gothic (pink).

    However,…

  11. When exporting a PDF from a Hebrew InDesign file, where the tagging order is correctly set from RTL and Adobe World-Ready Paragraph Composer is checked, the screen reader (JAWS in this case) reads the Hebrew text backwards. Is this something that is currently supported?

  13. I was having problems using abode so cancelled my subscription from frustration. All my invoices were done on this system and now I have no record. Why were the invoices removed from my system when I cancelled my subscription, they were done while I was paying to use it and I want them back

  17. How do I fix the signing in issue. I've signed in about 5 times now, and it's still not signing me in. This is so frustrating and a complete waste of 10 min waiting to be able to sign a form.

  19. Hi. I'm using Adobe Acrobat for preparing emails for legal purposes. One of the challenges I have is organising emails choronologically, especially when there are duplicate emails.

So that I don't have to change file in any way, I am using the Redaction feature instead of any Edit tools; I also find it more convenient. Using the Redaction Marking Tool as a Highlighter (having Opacity at 13%), I Highlight emails within a thread which are duplicates.

My Overlay Text is read, "Duplicate Email", and unless I print it for others, I do not apply the final Redaction which is a…

  20. I believe previous versions of Adobe Acrobat had a "delete blank pages" options in the tools section that I used when scanning with Adobe. I cannot find this option in the new version. It was a very useful tool, and I would like it back. Using "extract" is not the same and not nearly as convenient, especially in a long document.
