  2. When a docx is saved as a PDF (by Microsoft Word 2019 MSO (16.0.12624.20348) 64bit) and form-fields are added in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2020.006.20042, and the resulting PDF with formfields is then filled out and saved using Preview.app 2020.006.20042 on a Mac, the resulting PDF hides the filled out content of form-fields. Clicking into the filled form field reveals the contents. The PDF renders fine in other PDF viewer implementations.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Create an empty word document and save it as a PDF.
    2. Open the PDF with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and add a…

Thanks for bringing this issue up. We do not have any plans to work on it in immediate future,we might revisit at an appropriate time in future, and would update you regarding the same.

  4. Of the more than 30 "online" subscriptions our company pays monthly, Adobe is the only one that does not provide a monthly invoice to a email inbox. It has been widely accepted in the industry that monthly "subscriptions" are now the new norm for software. The VERY least a company can do is provide an invoice receipt to the user's inbox on a monthly basis. Not doing so creates an inconvenience and alienates your user base.

PLEASE provide a monthly invioce copy sent directly to the user's preferred email address.

  5. When opening Acrobat DC on Mac OS (High Sierra 10.13.3) the icon 'bounces' in the dock, shows that it's open, then is unusable. If I click the icon in the dock, nothing happens. If I control-click, and select 'Show All Windows', a blue halo appears where an application screen should be, but there's nothing there. When selecting a PDF to open, if Acrobat is 'open' nothing happens. If it is not, it goes through the normal startup with the bouncing icon in the dock, then nothing happens. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app a few different times now,…

  6. I'm dealing with a pretty common issue but at a larger scale. Over the years, I've backed up my photo collection onto multiple external hard drives (some formatted NTFS, some exFAT), and now I suspect there are a ton of duplicate images spread across these drives—some exact copies, others with slightly different names or locations.

I recently came across SysTools Duplicate File Finder and decided to give it a try. My main goal is to identify and safely remove duplicate image files without accidentally deleting originals or corrupting the backup structure.

  7. It's been over ten years since I sold the tech company I owned for 22 years. I've been enjoying retirement...until about a month ago! A friend recruited me to help convert some hard copy documents, produced in the mid-eighties, and make them into accessible PDF files. She knew I had some background in technology and specifically with creating PDFs from paper. The documents were going to be part of a new web site about the history of ADA! Given the nature of the site, the documents needed to be accessible! I downloaded Acrobat Pro DC (and a couple of screen…

  10. Some tagged PDF tables have RowSpan/ColSpan for data cells (<TD> tags) defined in Attribute Classes. While these correctly appear in the tag properties under attribute classes, the "Check for Accessibility" feature ignores it.

To reproduce the issue, have a table with a cell spanning multiple rows or columns. Have the correct RowSpan/ColSpan tag under an attribute class instead of a direct attribute object. Run "Check for accessibility."

A small PDF showing this problem is attached. In particular the data cell in the second row with entry "1/2(2T+1)" is correctly tagged as spanning two rows with an attribute class.

  11. Bug report: When copying a set of check boxes by creating multiple copies. The new sets have the checkboxes in a different order than the copied set.

Suggestion: The copied fields should be in the same order as the original set. The naming system could be improved.

  13. Adobe bug reporting wouldn’t allow me to post images and files. All are at
Cross link to similar report at https://github.com/jdaw1/placemat/issues/171

Consider the PDF placemats. Observe lots of complicated clipping. This was printed successfully from Adobe inside Chrome, but unsuccessfully from Adobe desktop app — major failure of clipping.

First image is of the Sandeman circle on the first page, as correctly converted to bitmap by GraphicConverter.

Next is as correctly printed from within Chrome version; Version 137.0.7151.120 (Official Build) (64-bit).

Then as wrongly printed from Adobe Acrobat 2025.001.20531, 64-bit.

In both cases, printed to a OKI C822 printer…

  14. The mouse cursor and some other functions are EXTREMELY SLOW to respond making the application practically unusable. It takes about 10 times longer to do anything because of this.

I have to move my mouse to something and then hover for a couple of seconds before I can make the action I want to make.

This seems like an intended thing as there's no lag, not waiting on processing, nothing like that - the cursor just isn't responsive, almost as if it were a safety feature.... but it is extremely annoying and I can't use this application in the…

  15. Steps to reproduce the issue:

Open a PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Select “Fit two pages side by side within the window.”

Navigate to any spread with content on both left and right pages.

Attempt to add a comment by selecting some texts and clicking the comment button (should be the first button in the popup tool bar when u select something) while on the right-side page of the spread.

    Environment:

    Application: Adobe Acrobat Reader

    Version: 25.1

    OS: Windows 11

    Expected result:
Clicking the comment button should open the comment box on both left and right pages.

  16. While going through the process of requesting a digital signature through Acrobat, it would be VERY HELPFUL to have a "back" button to move backward through the 3-step process in order to make edits/corrections (particularly to the copy in the email). There have been numerous times that I have composed the email (in the Request Signature process in Acrobat) and wanted to go back and change something. It could be editing the copy in the email (subject or body) or adding/deleting recipients. Currently, there is no way to do that without canceling the process and starting all over.

    Then, you…

  17. Make a reliable way for users to set a default for either the "pan" or "text selection" tools. You will see both issues have been raised in online help forums and suggested on this platform.

I use Acrobat mostly for reading documents. I am so tired of inadvertantly highlighting text or selecting images every time I left click and drag the mouse in an effort to pan because the system defaults to the Select tool rather than the Pan tool.

YES - I have deselected "Always display the keyboard selection cursor" under Accessibility.

    YES - I have selected "Make…

  20. It would be great if there was an automated tool for working with scans of books showing two pages across. If the system could automatically cut scans in half (or even detect where the centerline of the scan is) and create two pages out of each image it would be an awesome addition to Acrobat.
