Competitor Free Readers can Read this file, but Adobe Acrobat Pro Cannot!
I received this document via email, and it previews fine in my Outlook Client, I downloaded and opened the file to sign, and Acrobat Pro would not display the file correctly. I was under pressure to sign the document, and I ended up downloading Foxit Reader and it read and allowed me to sign the document for free. Later I viewed the same document on my Android device in Acrobat, and the same error was reproduced. I contacted support and they were unable to resolve the issue. I'm would like to elevate this for a resolution. I pay money to use Adobe products, and Acrobat Pro cannot perform this basic task, unlike a free product that is able. I would like to have it work soon.

Right Click make current properties default, not permanent
Used to be when a text box was selected and the right click option "make current properties default" was chosen, that set the properties to all new text boxes permanently. Now I can chose this option, then change the text in a different text box and then next new text box that is created no longer has the default settings, it has the properties of the text box that was changed. Why have this option if it doesn't do what it says? This used to work in versions prior to Acrobat Pro DC 2019.012.20035. My idea, make it work like it used to!

BUG: Dark Mode copy and pastes invisible text
When copying text from a dark mode app on Mac (Mail app) and pasting it into the comment box in Acrobat the the formatting stays which creates white text on a white comment box, ie invisible. The workaround is to highlight the text, right click, and "clear formatting". This adds lots of time as we do this frequently. See screenshots for a better explanation. Thanks!

Duplex, collate, odd-numbers of pages, and not-useful printed results
Synopsis:
A) Please fix duplexing such that page one of a document always begins on the front of a sheet of paper. This means a the back page of an odd-numbered document should be blank.B) Please let the Collate button both be visible regardless of the number of copies and let it have a default and/or remembered setting. The combination of it being initially invisible and the defaulting to the less-desirable setting results in wasted printed material.
Detail:
This is a consistent problem that sprung into existence about a year ago, near as I can tell on both Acrobat DC and Reader for Mac.OS: It occurs on every install I have (4 different Macs, various versions of OSX but reasonably updated over that timeframe).
Printers: this occurs on every printer in the organization. All are Brother laser printers. At least 5 different models.
Duplex printing generates output that is unexpected, and unworkably so, in these situations.
Odd number of pages. Say you print a 3-page document, Copies = 2, Duplex on, Collate on.
Sheet: front page/back page. Expected output from the printer:
Sheet one: 1/2
Sheet two: 3/blank
Sheet three: 1/2
Sheet four: 3/blankActual output is:
Sheet one: 1/2
Sheet two: 3/1
Sheet three: 2/3Why anyone would actually want this output is beyond me. That said, even if it was somehow desirable, why would it be the default. The only workaround I have found is to either add a blank page to the document to make it an even number of pages, or to print 1 copy many times. This is woefully inefficient.
Collation also causes this problem. Specifically, the Collate checkbox does not appear until the number of copies is increased beyond 1. Then the Collate box appear, but always unchecked. If you do not notice this, then your duplex output will be:
Sheet one: 1/1
Sheet two: 2/2Also a wasteful default behavior, both in terms of paper and ink, but also in terms of time.
While there might be some sensible reason for both of these behaviors, I cannot fathom it. What I do know is that they product unexpected default results that are different than how other programs print and different than how Acrobat behaved until about 1 year ago.

Option to prevent a local copy being downloaded from the cloud when setting up secuity settings on PDFs
I need to share a PDF of some confidential documents of our business that are integral to finalising a deal with a new partner. They need to view these documents before they can sign an agreement
I can ensure that they cannot copy, edit or print the PDF, but I cannot stop them from downloading a copy and storing it locally. Even though this copy would also be uncopyable or unprintable they would be able to share their local copy with other people if they shared their password too.
It would be a good feature to stop a local copy being saved, so in the event we decide not to go ahead with the deal I would still have full control over my confidential documents

Adobe Acrobat XI Standard crashes
Adobe Acrobat XI Standard opens for 10-20 seconds before crashing. No error dialog, the application window simply disappears. Have run repair, have uninstalled Reader, have run as administrator, same result. Computer has been rebooted several times. This is for a managed client who critically needs Acrobat to function.

Command Click Title Bar Finder MacOS
I've noticed that with recent updates to Adobe Acrobat DC that one can no longer Command-Click the title bar of the window to open the containing folder in Finder. This works for other apps. This is really useful when trying to find the file.

Creative Cloud-Free Adobe Software
Please let those of us who prefer it to simply use Adobe software like any other. No creative cloud, no membership, no password. I just want to read and edit pdf files. It's software. Let me just use it. As it is I have lots of pdf files and I'll go along. But as soon as there's an alternative, I'll bold from Adobe and never come back. Unless I can again just use the software like before.

Highlighting
Hello. I regularly use Adobe Acrobat Reader DC for reading PDFs for school. With some kinds, I can just highlight the text normally, and that works great. Congratulations and great job! However, sometimes my professors simply photocopy pages from a book, and I have to draw on highlights. Does that make sense? Now, here's the issue. Sometimes, when I draw it in a straight enough line, it automatically makes it straight. That's nice, HOWEVER, sometimes it doesn't follow the line of the text and doesn't match up with the way the text is on the page. I've attached a sample screenshot for reference. This is very frustrating. I think you should improve it in your next version. Again, though, thanks for your work and great job.

Receive Out of Office Message
Dear Adobe Team,
it would be a great feature if a sender is receiving Out of Office messages if he has send out an aggrement via Adobe Sign. If the user replys to a Adobe Sign mail this is being send to the sender. But Out of Office messages are not being forwared. This would be a highly needed feature. If you need anything from me concerning this feature request please let me know.

"Save As PDF" menu UX improvement suggestion
The "save as" dialog menu in Acrobat Pro (Windows edition) looks counterintuitive, especially the location of "Choose a different folder" button. I've never seen such a menu structure ever. Normally Windows Explorer has a similar thing on the top of the menu. It's a good idea to have a list of recent folders on a screen, but actually I need easy access to other folders on my computer. And it would be great to make this menu looks similar to Windows Explorer. At least I'd place the folder path somewhere at the top of the window (as seen on the screenshot).
The location of the "Choose a different folder" button is very counterintuitive now because normally it is a place for the submit button. I'd left the "Save" or "Ok" button there.
It would be great to improve this dialog box in future editions. Now I ought to spend more time to figure out how can I find a different folder because all other software I use have the standard "save as" dialog boxes.

Please make RESTORING deleted Document Cloud data possible
We would like to have the possibility, just like with OneDrive 4 Business, to restore deleted files for a User or by a User if deleted in the Document Cloud.
At this moment, as soon as the file is deleted in the document cloud there is no turning back.
It would be great if there would be such a feature enabled like lets say save deleted data for 30 days in a trashcan were users can restore it if deleted by accident.
Thanks.

Cost is prohibitive
There should be some sort of discount for either long time users of your regular Adobe Acrobat or those who use more than one Adobe product (like I also have Adobe Scan). OR...consider those of us on disability, social security or fixed incomes. You have one of the highest monthly membership rates and I am wondering how long I can continue to put out all these fees to Adobe every month. We need a financial break. At least SOME of us do, on a case-by-case basis. What with EVERYONE charging anything from $2.99 a month to $17.99 for full blown Premium YouTube, I am getting nickle and dimed to death by apps!!!!! Now you too Adobe? Please just lower the price or have a loyalty program or a poor people's discount or something....HELP!

The Acrobat DC “save as PDF” interface has been scrambled
My computer system is MacOS 10.14.4, Acrobat version is DC (2019.020.20099). After adding fonts to macOS FontBook, the Acrobat DC “save as PDF” interface has been scrambled.
2 votesHi,
Thanks for reporting the issue to us. Can you please provide some more details :
1. What font did you add via macOS font book?
2. Do you see this scrambled interface only on save dialog? Can you please go to Home / My computer/ Document Cloud/ Add an Account section on the left hand rail and let us know if you observe the same issue on these screens.Regards,

Edit using… only shows ”Open with…”
When I want to edit an object in an external editor, the tool ”Edit using…” only shows ”Open with…”.
Illustrator/Photoshop is not shown in the list as it used to. It makes no difference if I set them (or any other compatible app) as default editors in preferences.(Acrobat Pro DC 2019.021, MacOS 10.14)

Language conversion
I am over Europe and Asia and must convert PDF's for many languages. I now have to use google translator and its 1000 word limit.I need a module cloud based, server on PC based that we can utilize. I would think in today's world this would be a big selling feature
