  1. Most of what I use Acrobat Pro for is processing vendor invoices. Several thousand per year. I need to place comments on them and then email them to another location. It would be a big time saver for me if there was a shortcut key to open the email option. Thanks, Barry

  2. Currently Acrobat Pro DC can not read slower than 150 words per minute (wpm). I chatted with support (January 30, 2018) and they confirmed that currently it can not be reduced. Therefore, I request that this be modified to any number that a subscriber wants. 150 WPM is ridiculously fast. The range is 150 to 650 wpm. I would hope that Adobe does not discriminate against persons with disabilities anywhere especially in the United States of America.

  3. Instead of having to install pro and having it downgrade when you login with your Standard license. It would make the process much smoother for Corporate end users.

  4. Just purchased Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and installed. When I open a pdf and try to merge with another the program says I am only using a trial version???
When I try to sign in through the program I get a pop-up with terms of use and license agreement but I cannot check the box to agree to the terms and conditions so I cannot sign in...tried to contact them by phone but nobody answers...

  5. Every time I open a pdf from an email, it automatically saves it to the desktop. I then have to delete them and it is difficult finding the latest file...that I didn't want to save in the first place. I want to choose when to save a file.

You can change folder path via Preferences > Securit y(Enhanced) > Add Folder path.

I hope this works for you

  6. While editing text in a .pdf I try to change the texts color by bringing up the color picker. When I try to change the color by clicking on a color patch nothing happens. I end up using the eye dropper to select a new color.
This problem started after I upgraded my computer to the new iMac Pro.
See the attached .png & .jpeg files showing my configuration and the color picker window that I was using.

    Thanks for reporting the issue.
As a workaround, after clicking on the color patch, you can press enter/return or spacebar to select the color.
Let us know if it helps.

  7. Adobe Sign no longer remembers emails or offers them in type ahead. Should link to your contacts.

  11. To have the option to turn off messages when I add/or place a signature, really annoying. Otherwise, I like the product, I use it everyday

  12. Every time Pro starts I have to press Shift-F4 before I do anything else.

Maybe someone has some javascript that can be used at startup to close the pane automatically?

  13. The Windows properties metadata tag though not used by Adobe PDF cannot be added or changed. For other files as .jpg, MS Office this field is available in Windows Explorer and can be edited. I wish Adobe do the same with PDF in order to allow files to be searched by tags.

  14. I fill data in a PDF form and save the changes. When I return to the document at a later stage, and make a single change, I lose all the previous data entered, only retaining the last change. It is annoying to lose all your typed data.

Luckily I save it in Dropbox, so can get back to original revisions.

  15. Found a bug

    Software Acrobat Pro DC
    Architecture: x86_64
    Build: 18.9.20050.254034
    AGM: 4.30.72
    CoolType: 5.14.5
    JP2K: 1.2.2.39492

    OSX 10.11.6 (15G18013)

In previous versions of Acrobat, it was possible to copy and paste not only written (text) comments, but it was possible paste lines, boxes, ovals, clouds and other comment features from one page to another page.

This is of importance because we use Acrobat to mark up floor plan drawings and send those comments back to the Architect for review and correction. The current version of Acrobat, as far as I am concerned, is broken because it no longer permits…

  17. To use a time scale to limit PDF files being used or viewed even if they have been uploaded to a Web Page.

We have a very High Profile Client who has requested that we provide a service whereby he can stop people viewing his PDF files after a specified time scale. At present they have to monitor the numerous websites where their PDF file have been uploaded to and request that that are taken down. They want this function to automatically stop the PDF from being viewed.

Could you elaborate on the problem you are facing and exact steps to reproduce the problem?

  19. I have a lease document where the end brackets mysteriously stick around on one page. The tag works fine when uploaded to Adobe Sign but the brackets are still there. All of the tags and brackets work fine in other parts of the document (even with the extra spaces at the end between the text and end brackets).

Here are the shortcut tags I used for the bottom two:

    {{#propertyAddress=propertyAddresses:prefill:font(size=auto)}}
    {{#startDate=
    startDatees:prefill:isdate}}

I also tried taking out "font(size=auto)" on both tags, but that didn't seem to help.

Currently using Mac Sierra, Adobe InDesign CC2018, and…

  20. KDP/Kindle/Amazon reformats PDFs badly--photos are scattered + mal-sized, text overlaid other text (espec. after photos). Could Adobe put attention on this problem, plz. Editing PDF in Adobe does not solve problem. (Consider: Would creating smaller original PDFs (in Kindle size, for instance) make converting to Kindle, or any small format, more accurate?)
