  1. Since updating to Acrobat Pro DC (version 2017.012.20098), I cannot individually copy arrow, line, rectangle, or oval shapes (with or without accompanying comments) from one PDF and paste them into another PDF. As an editor, I use these tools all day to mark corrections and I regularly have the need to carry over unaddressed/outstanding edits to the next version of the project. Without the ability to simply copy and paste, I have to redo a lot of work—losing efficiency and opening up room for error. Please restore this fundamental function!

  2. My copy of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2019.008.20080 is constantly crashing when deleting comments. Since Adobe removed the tick box from the commenting feature, which was easily the worst UI/UX decision in recent history, I have resorted to deleting comments in order to be able to go through documents with hundreds of markups.

However, the current version fo Acrobat pro DC can only handle a couple of comment deletions in a row, and literally crashes after every 5 to 10 comments.

So if I have a document with 700+ comments, you can imagine my frustration and the amount of crashing.…

  3. This is for Acrobat Pro DC.
We have the option to open 'Files' from OneDrive.
When I navigate to a folder in my OneDrive the files are displayed in what appears to be Name order. I would like a way to Sort those files into other orders. For Example, Date Descending/Ascending.

  5. Since the latest update, when I save a large pdf using "Reduced Size PDF", none of the images show up in any app except for Acrobat - not Mail, not other pdf viewers. Never happened before and I use this feature A LOT!

  6. See: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2553080 for full details

/GoToR links that point to named destinations in a different document should respect the destination zoom properties.

ie If we have a named destination on target.pdf /D1 defined as /XYZ destination: page 2, x: 0, y:0, z:0 or null, then when a user clicks a /GoToR link to open /D1 on source.pdf with 250% zoom, the target document should be opened at 250% zoom.

This bug is reproducible both on OSX and Windows 10.

  8. Image highlight (freehand) tool anywhere on page (including text)

The image/freehand highlighter tool only appears when hovering the cursor over an image. However would be great to have the tool available over text or blank space on the pdf.

Also the preview highlight thickness (before mouse button release) is not the same as the final highlight thickness (after mouse button release).

For the text highlighter, it would be nice to be able to move the ends of the highlight by dragging (to highlight more or less text).

  9. On a Mac in Default Mode, it should be possible to copy highlighted text by using the keyboard shortcut.

Now, all you can do is select the highlighted parts and right-click -> Copy Text. Why shouldn't it be possible to select the highlighted parts and press Cmd+C?

Doing the extra clicking work is very labor intensive when working with a lot of previously highlighted paragraphs.

  11. When macs left unattended and Acrobat pro running the application increasing consumes CPU time and memory. Coming in the next morning my machine is extremely slow to respond. This is happening on two mac machines I use.. one Sierra 10.12.6 and one High sierra. Both machine regularly use MS office applications and Saffari and Chrome browsers. Both utilize Mcafee. Acrobat will not close unless being forced to do so.

  12. In both Pro DC and Reader, if one is searching for a term, one can't go back to the beginning and search again for that term; one has to search through the document. So if I find the 5th instance at p. 12, even if I go back to the top of the document and even I then click at the top of the document, when I next hit control f, it will search from p. 12. But sometimes I want to find, say, the first instance, or some other. Hitting previous requires me to go through all the previous…

  13. I just spent the last 2 hours trying to change the margins and the paragraph spacing on a simple document with just 4 pages.

YOU MUST GO BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD AND MAKE YOUR TOOLS MUCH MORE USER FRIENDLY TO THE AVERAGE PERSON. UNTIL ADOBE FIGURES OUT HOW TO MAKE THEIR TOOLS MORE USER-FRIENDLY, YOU WILL CONTINUE TO LOSE CUSTOMERS IN THE MEANTIME. GREAT TOOLS AND RESOURCES - awful user-friendly applications. When we spend 2 hours with an Adobe customer support person on chat who cannot even do this simple task with time efficiency, then it is clear to…

Thank you for the feedback. I have forwarded your request to the engineering team. They will reach out to you if any more information is needed.

  14. When exporting to eps (may be other formats too) from a multi-page document, you have to manually go into settings and define the page number (in the format of a range) that you want to export. Ironically, it automatically populates the page # of # based on the page you're already on. If you don't define a page, regardless of what page you're on, it will export the 1st page. Should default to exporting the page you're on in the pdf.

  16. Mohave 10.14.3 and Acrobat DC fillable document saving problem-
If I get a fillable form from IRS or other government site that needs to be filled in, I can save it to my computer one time. But if I reopen the document to add other information to a fillable area, I cannot save the document a second time. I get an error message saying the file contains "a number that is out of range". This happens for documents from many different websites, so I think the error comes when the document is saved using Mohave. Once saved the "producer" under…

Thank you for reporting the issue.

Please check that the form is not being opened in Apple Preview, it happens to get corrupted. Try downloading again from IRS website and instead use Adobe Acrobat/Adobe Reader.

    1. Please share the test file with us using https://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-7161 and
2 the version of Acrobat installed on your machine for us to investigate furthur.

  17. I wish Acrobat to have option "replace all" under Find and Replace.

  19. Why can I just use my DC Pro account on 2 devices simultaniously? I have: 2 dekstop pc's (work/home), 1 tablet and smartphone. Not nice that I always need to logout when I want to use it on another device. @Office365 : 5 devices at the same time.

  20. I don't know how this happened, but I exported a print out of a web page that was sized at 8.5x11 as a PDF, and when I opened the PDF in Adobe DC, somehow the page size turned into 13.17x16.78, and now when I print the PDF, it cuts out everything on the page that is outside of the 8.5x11 paper size. I have been trying and trying to just resize the PDF to 8.5x11, but I can't find this feature anywhere - and I've really been looking hard! So if there was a way you could add a feature…
