I understand your developers are probably incredibly excited about new and exciting generative AI, but they need to calm down - just adding it for the sake sexying up your software is utterly pointless. It adds no value. The descriptions of "person sitting in a white dress" (when it's quite obviously that) is distracting and quite creepy. Restraint goes quite far. Forcing features on us that we didn't need because you decided in some meeting that something new was needed to avoid boredom isn't appreciated.

    Windows 11. Acrobat version etc. are represented on the screenshot.
    Steps to reproduce: a few pdf was opened and all except one has been closed.
    Result: there are many Acrobat app entries in the Windows taskbar instead of only one (for the last still opened pdf). See screenshot.

  6. Access to our most used actions in a toolbar is excellent, but the floating toolbar is so annoying because it is on top of the content of the opened document. It would be better if we could customise where the toolbar should be and have the ability to dock it without it so it is not on top of the content.
    Older versions of Adobe Acrobat Pro allowed it to be on the top horizontally, which used to work perfectly for me. Please let users decide how best to interact with Adobe Acrobat Pro.

    1. Mark area
    2. Click Crop
    3. Done
    Now it is

    4. Realize you should have double-clicked, WTF?
    5. Start over, double-click
    6. Get mysterious dialogue
    7. Press OK

  10. Using Adobe Acrobat Pro 64-bit, version 24.005.20399, on Windows 11, 24H2.

    Selecting any of the sign-in options (Continue with Google, Continue with Facebook, Continue with Microsoft) fails to open a web browser to continue the sign in process. This will eventually time out and fail to sign you in.

    Signing in using your email address, verification code, and password works fine. Issue is with using the SSO options that fail to open a web browser.

  12. Searching (ctrl^f - search for a text) in a large PDF file in Adobe Reader has become very slow. Searching the same file in Edge or Chrome is fast. I use Microsoft Word to make a document, and save from there to PDF. An example is attached. I noticed the slow performance in Adobe Reader during the last year or so, I am not sure when it started, but it as not always like this.

    1. The first is using MS Outlook, which is free and effective, but it can be time-consuming. Additionally, if you accidentally choose the wrong option, you'll have to start over.
