Can't save fileWhen I review a downloaded file or make changes to a document and go to save the file I get a blank "Save as PDF" window that never completes loading. If I use [ctrl][s] to save the file I get a message that I don't have write privileges for the document. The program worked fine until yesterday. 5 votes

checkboxes on comments are brokenSince a few Versions, we (on macOS) cannot check the checkboxes on comments. When we do, another comment appears (each time we click) stating that the checkbox has been checked (but it does not show ith checked).
When working with hundreds of comments, often using from different computers, it is imperative to know, which ones have been dealt with and which ones have not.
Please fix the checking of the comments (and have a look into why those only work for the computer they have been checked and are not being displayed correctly on other machines!).1 vote

We have investigated this issue and found that this has broken with a recent Office update and would require a fix from Microsoft. This has also been raised on Microsoft fourms in several threads and acknowledged and it seems they are investigating this issue. Please follow these threads for updates. As a workaround, please revert to older version of Office to make links work. Thanks Tanvi

Let dropbox host shared reviewsI want to do a Shared Review, but I do NOT want to use Document Cloud to do it because the commenting functions are so limited. Why not revamp the Send for Shared Commenting to include Dropbox/Box/Google Drive? The original Send for Shared commenting including WebDav, Network folder, and Sharepoint, but it was designed about a decade ago, long before cloud storage services became so popular. Since Dropbox lets multiple users have read/write access to a folder, it would be great to incorporate that functionality into Acrobat Shared Reviews. Users can already open and save files to and from a… 1 vote

STOP Surreptitiously Installing McAfee on Automatic UpdateWhile the fact that Adobe provides McAfee security for free as part of Acrobat is nice for those that want it, those of us that don't should not be forced to have it installed. Personally I hate McAfee. I use a different company for my computer/internet security and it's expensive, so when McAfee self-downloads and declares itself the default security system on my computer it makes me very unhappy. Basically I just wasted a bunch of time and money because I thought I had the Yahoo search redirect virus on my computer. Turns out even though I had uninstalled McAfee… 5 votes

Wrong interpretation of EPS / AI / SVG file when creating a PDF from Word.See the attached files for more info, the dev team surely has more knowledge on the file structures than I do, and the parser for whatever format is involved. I have an Illustrator file, created out of an old EPS one. Works fine in Illustrator and everything, exporting to PNG, for example, is no problem. However if the drawing gets pasted in Word (365, 64-bit 16.0.14228.20288) and one tries to create a PDF out of it using the COM Add-in the drawing isn't interpreted correctly leading to a garbled mess. Office's internal PDF exporter does a better job, but you… 1 vote

Zoom Tool: Please add additional default zoom percentagesPlease add additional default zoom percentages for 15" and 17" laptop screens. BACKGROUND: As a college student, I read a lot of academic articles and PDF textbooks. However, I get a little irritated every time that I have to manually type in a zoom percentage of 250% or 270% because the default percentages jump from 200% to 300% (which is TOO much)! I know. It's a menial request. But it would make a HUGE difference for someone in my situation. Thank you! 1 vote

Convert highlights to redactionIn order to facilitate the creation of faux-redacted documents for internal stakeholders (i.e., it looks like the redacted document that we will send out, but it contains the redacted information for future reference), highlights should be easily convertible to redactions. 1 vote

Links Broken after uploading to Adobe SignI have a PDF that conforms to the 1.6 pdf standard. The pdf contains 4 links that link to other pages within the same document. When the document is uploaded to Adobe Sign and sent for signature and re-downloaded, there are 2 problems with it: - The number of annotation links is doubled.
- The initial links are all broken.
I have attached a copy of the original document and the document after its uploaded to adobe sign and sent for signature. Repro Steps:
 1. Open "Initial.pdf" and use the "request a signature" menu to send it to Adobe Sign.
 2. Send…4 votes

Crash when closing multiple PDF windows from the same file with comment pane openFound a reproducible crash in Adobe Reader DC -both free and Pro version (likely 100% occurrence in core i7 U series 7th, 8th gen, Xeon Gold, AMD Athlon): Prerequisite:
Under PREFERENCES>GENERAL, "Open documents as new tabs in the same window (require relaunch)" is UNCHECKED. This means every time I open a new PDF file, it will appear as a new window instead of nested tabs.
 - Opening a PDF file with highlighter markups
 - Opening a comment pane of that file
 - Then opening a new PDF window (from the same file): Window>New window
 - Opening another PDF file or…1 vote

When deleting comments, the acceptence/rejection of the comment stays in the documentHello, When deleting comments in a PDF-document in Adobe Acrobat Pro, the comments themselves are indeed removed, but if these comments were once accepted or rejected, this information stays around in the PDF document. Adobe Acrobat Pro know to ignore it and doesn't show it, but when opening that document on iOS for example, that information is still shown as some sort of comment, which is impossible to find (and thus remove) in Adobe Acrobat, because Adobe ignores these. This is highly undesirable. Can this be fixed please? Thank you,
 Best regards,

Changing the date format in digital signaturePlease add an option to modify the date format in the digital signature. I mean:
 - shortening the format from 2021.10.07 '00'02 + 07:29:00 to simply 2021.10.07,
 - possibility to edit the size of the date,
 - possibility to change the format to dd/mm/yyyy
 - possibility to change the separators to dd.mm.yyyy2 votes

Bug Report: Split PDF function not workingWhen I use the split PDF, I select split by "Top level bookmarks" and "The same Folder Selected at Start" for "Target Folder" and "Use bookmark names for file names" under "File Labeling" under "Output Options". Then I click "Ok" and click on "Split". I receive an error message that says "The file may be read-only, or another user may have it open. Please save the document with a different name or in a different folder." However, the file is NOT ready-only and no one else has the file open because it's saved in a local folder on my computer's… 5 votes

Safari won't open PDF in AcrobatMacOS Big Sur 11.6 (20G165)
 Safari Version 15.0 (16612.1.29.41.4, 16612)
Adobe Acrobat DC 21.007.20096Safari no longer supports opening PDFs in Acrobat, rather than the browser. A high-level tech support at Adobe screen-shared on my computer and couldn't find any way to set it so that PDFs would open in Acrobat. Help files on Adobe's help site refer to an older version of Safari, which had preferences different than the current version (see attached screen shot of current Safari preferences). 1 vote
