1. Bypassed Password

   This is a bug report.
   I used Adobe Pro DC to encrypt documents for emailing to outside agencies among other things. Today, I discovered after sending a document to a co-worker for review, the default PDF reader on Windows allows access without the password required... simply by hitting the cancel options. I spoke with the Adobe Pro help line for an hour today and they asked me to write this report. The application used is called Windows reader, when opened you cannot print or edit but you can view the document without any obstacles, I was also able to take a screen shot of the protected document and email it. This is a security risk for our company and I assume it defeats the purpose of the "open with password" feature.
   Feel free to email me with follow up question, my company has been notified and we are taking necessary precautions to protect our data, we will be discounting the use of Adobe Pro for encryption. Thank you.

2. signature appearance

   Since last update of Adobe Acrobat Std/Pro, our engineers are not able to sign drawings cause now a predifined rectangle appears which is way too large. People have to sign at the right side of the drawings (DIN A0) with a very small rectangle. You have now to place the new predefined rectangle where top left corner have to fit with top left corner of drawing field. Therefor, you have to zoom out the document to be able to place the rectangle. That way, it's hard to see if you sign the right field at the drawing. Signing hundreds of drawing is a nightmare now.
   Please return to old way, where you can define the rectangle by yourself .... or build in a switch to return to old way ... or give us the chance to change the size of predifined rectangle somewhere in "Preferences".
   Workaround suggested by support to downgrade the version for all our machines is not an option.

4. eliminate DC function from DC.

   remove the DC function from acrobat DC so users cannot access cloud files. this is a grave security risk. the feature has to an option at installation time so a user cannot switch it on.

5. Problems with Icon Rendering on Folder-Level Javascripts in Acrobat DC

   My folder-level javascripts place icons on the toolbar using an iconstream. These exact scripts have worked in every version of Acrobat and Reader I have used for several years on both PC and Mac platforms.

   In Acrobat DC, the icons behave erratically, sometimes rendering appropriately and sometimes only showing the red Lego-like shape icons rather than the true icon.

   The scripts still function properly when invoked by clicking the Lego-like shape icons, but the lack of the scripts' appropriate icons decreases their effectiveness.

   I have removed the folder-level scripts, restarted the system and Acrobat and then re-installed the scripts with restarts and still no reliable function.

   I have experienced the same behavior on Windows 10 (32 bit system) and Windows 10 (64 bit system) running Acrbat Pro DC (current version 2017.009.20044).

It would be great if Adobe could fix these serious productivity issues, which have plagued Acrobat for many years now.

7. When I opened Acrobat DC a few minutes ago, a popup about integration with Microsoft Office hijacked the app for several seconds

   Steps to reproduce:
   Opened Acrobat DC --- a popup about integration with Microsoft Office appeared.

   Environment: MacOS 10.11.6, Acrobat DC 2017.009.20044

   Expected result:
   I should be given immediate access to the Close button or the Continue button.

   Observed result:
   The popup hijacked the app, with a spinning beachball cursor, for several seconds - at least 10 seconds. This is not the only performance issue I've seen - I've reported others that still aren't fixed. It all ads up.

8. Custom Comment Status Tags

   It would be nice if users can create and manage custom status tags. Often when I'm addressing comments I use the status tags for organizing which comments I've addressed and how I address them. I turn them on and off to keep track of which one's I've addressed. For the most part they are usually accepted or rejected, but sometimes there are some that should be addressed by someone else, some that require further clarification, some that I simply want to put on the back-burner but don't want to see when I filter out comments that have not been addressed, and other types. The remaining options of "Cancelled" or "Completed" don't always fit and that has created confusion in the past. it would be nice if there were more options in order to improve the usefulness of the filtering tool and to eliminate confusion among reviewers.

10. I downloaded the DC Pro update and it said that if I opened the download it would damage my computer. Why am I downloading your updates?

    Why does it say the update could damage my computer. I am sick of seeing update notifications and then after downloading the update it says this could damage my computer. Get your act together and stop doing this to your customers.

11. Direct ink feature available in student/teacher version of adobe acrobat pro dc

    I had been using the trial version for Adobe acrobat pro dc and really liked the feature where when i was using the program on my surface pro it automatically detected that i was using the microsoft pen and i could just write on the pdf's. I purchased the student version of the program and when i went to do the same thing and it did not work. I contacted your customer service and the person said the feature was not available on the version i purchased and that i would have to buy a subscription to get that feature. I only purchased the program because i really liked the auto feature for the pen. Is it possible to have your direct ink feature available in an update for students and teachers who are using your software and would really benefit for this feature?

    When adding a PDF Portfolio to a file list (Combine Files) I get the following informational dialog box,

    "File [File name] is a PDF Portfolio that contains multiple files. The files with the PDF Portfolio have been added to the file list." It requires that you click OK, before the files will be added and you can continue.

    I wish to disable this dialog box as I am archiving thousands of files a day.

14. Toolbar for Highlights Color

    Please make a toolbar or something that allows for a one touch colour change for Highlighting.
    Its is time consuming to have to go into properties and set as default everytime i decide to change highlight colour.
    As a student I need to be able to have a variety of colours available for highlighting in order to have organized notetaking

15. Please make it easier to change fonts and colours of text+highlights

    On the Apple version of adobe: it is very tedious and takes time+ lots of clicking to change the colour of highlights. and its even HARDER to change the fonts, colours of text in the textbox option.

    As a student who primarily notetakes on PDF its really a setbck when taking lecture notes for a high intensity lecture.

16. I wish pro had a feature to allow you to insert a blank page.

    It would be nice if there was an "insert blank page" option that could identify the page properties of the document you're working in and insert a blank page with the same properties as the rest of the document.

17. Arabic doesn't export well to .csv from the response collection window - bug

    I created a form in Acrobat DC Pro, distributed and collected the form successfully. In the collection window, Any field filled up in Arabic shows up properly – see screenshot (Collected-results-with-Arabic.jpg).
    However when I export all results to .csv format so I can compare all results, any Arabic text will display as dots – see screenshot (arabic-in-excel.jpg)

    I performed all above steps on Mac and Windows using Acrobat Pro DC 15.23.20056.213124 with similar results

    Arabic text should be readable in the exported .csv file

    Arabic text is converted to dots upon exporting all data from the form collection window.

19. Send & Track Personalized Invitations E-Mail

    Allow senders of Send & Track personal invitations to create a closing signature block or a letterhead that includes the senders contact info (such as sender's name, company name, street address, phone and fax numbers, e-mail address, website address) within the e-mail. It's time-consuming to type the same info every time I send the invitations.

20. actions on Acrobat Pro

    I have to put watermark (my logo" on jpg files in a folder and then save new files to another folder; with an action doing:
    - add watermark (my logo)
    - save in a folder (same name+export as jpeg)
    Compared to the version 7 (I used it until yesterday) it is much slower and works worse because to avoid having to close hundreds of pdf files (which are created do not know why) I had to add the action "do not save": note that one pdf always remains open to close at the end anyway.
    This is on Windows 10
