  1. I am trying to open a pdf form from the Gov. of Canada using Acrobat Pro DC but nothing happens. After double clicking the file, I can see a background process (in task manager) but it doesn't show any activity and the interface doesn't show even after several minutes of waiting. I have tried restarting / repairing installation but same result. Any other document works fine.   2. Acrobat DC Pro hides the 'digital signature' field unless you follow a very convoluted series of steps to find it. Recommend ALWAYS having the digital signature option available. Also, recommend disambiguating between 'signature' 'initial' and 'digital signature' fields. Conceptually very similar. Functionally very different.

    To use Digital Signature on Acrobat/Reader, if you have a signature field present on the pdf, you still can click on the document field and it would initiate the digital signature workflow. This functionality is still present in Acrobat DC. If you want to draw a signature on the pdf outside a signature box, please go to Tools—Certificates—Digitally Sign. That would enable you to draw a box on the pdf for the signature.

  3. Acrobat DC makes you hunt through a menu and multiple clicks just to pull up each tool. And this is for each single PDF that is opened into the interface. Honestly this is just so bad. I want Acrobat to look exactly the same each time, with all my commenting and other tools lined up in menus on the right side. Every time, when I open any document, so that I can work.

  4. Why are text edits confined to the current page? The capability to drag a text block to another page is a must-have. Ability to have text flow to the next page is much needed.

  5. We need the ability to generate a report that shows agreement sends that are not delivered or have bounced back. This report needs to have date ranges, so the user can pull more than just a few days of activity at a time.

  6. I want the comment tools to remain as a toolbar. At present it goes away every time I close a document, and I have to bring it back every time I open a new document.

  7. The description on invoices Adobe Acrobat Pro DC is complete gobble-de-gook!

    The description on our invoices currently says:
    65222762 APAP,ALL,MLP,DRI01,MAU,001,N/A,1 YR
    EAME
    Line Tax Rate: 10 %

    It should say something like:
    Adobe Acrobat Pro DC monthly subscription fee

    I'm not the only one who would like this changed. A Google search reveals plenty of other people who would like this changed too.

    Come on guys. i have been saving Word files for years as PDFs.

    I'm an Adobe ACI in five Adobe products. I know what I'm doing but tonight I'm tryiing to save a Word document as a PDF and now it's saying I have to register the product.... which is on the Cloud? ... and I've already downloaded the latest version. and registered it...

    Oh yes, am tryinjg to register.... but no options to do so.... it just basically says.......... well........ you know...... xxxxxxx

  9. I am a Prepress tech using an APPE workflow, the most current release. I have been seeing problems, since my upgrade and the advent of the CC, with PDF 1.4 being submitted for print. Mostly transparency problems. I have people modify their Adobe Press Quality PDF Preset to PDF 1.7, from InDesign. It helps greatly. Also makes me feel more confident in the soft proofing process, as v1.7 passes my EnFocus and RIP preflights better than lesser PDF versions. And I know this is an InDesign PDF export setting problem, but it is a Distiller preset, available within Indy. Can…

  10. This is no an idea. It is a utter disappointment that I paid for perpetual license for Acrobat Pro DC 2015 and I am getting nowhere to be able to draw multi-sided polygons. Always automatically ended a triangle after the third click. Same happens when drawing clouds. Cannot draw multiple segments of connected lines in the same line, always terminated after the second segment.

  11. It would be nice if users can create and manage custom status tags. Often when I'm addressing comments I use the status tags for organizing which comments I've addressed and how I address them. I turn them on and off to keep track of which one's I've addressed. For the most part they are usually accepted or rejected, but sometimes there are some that should be addressed by someone else, some that require further clarification, some that I simply want to put on the back-burner but don't want to see when I filter out comments that have not been addressed,…

Allow senders of Send & Track personal invitations to create a closing signature block or a letterhead that includes the senders contact info (such as sender's name, company name, street address, phone and fax numbers, e-mail address, website address) within the e-mail. It's time-consuming to type the same info every time I send the invitations.

  13. I keep getting offers to try out Acrobat Pro DC. I install it. It says I have zero days left, since I used my trial when it first came out. Since this is going to be an evergreen product, I'd like to see the "timer" on the trial expire, so that I can see if the newest version is something I'm interested in/features improved, etc.

  14. Using 'Send for Signature' with added signature block. Date does not appear when uploading an image. Unlike type and draw which has the date automatically added under the signature. See tickets #0188780191 and #0188780008 on 3/21/17.

  15. Currently the Bates Numbering option does not allow the user to select folder and subfolders to the window for incorporating Bates Numbering. Users currently have to separate the subfolders onto the desktop and then add each folder separately to the list, once all the folders are added, the functionality can then be operated. However, most of the time users have up to 500 subfolders, so its essential that the subfolders are numbered to that the Bates numbering follows numerically correctly. There are other products that can already do this, so why cant Adobe

  16. Simply format support for OpenOffice formats used by OpenOffice and LibreOffice.

    This is vital for those that prefer those formats over Microsoft Office formats. While they aren't as fully featured or useful in some cases they are free and open source making them a great alternative to the closed source formats of their Microsoft counterparts. Plus my book features some of these formats and i'm too lazy to convert them over...

  18. It is deeply problematic that Adobe keeps popping up intrusive AI panes and prompts even after AI is completely disabled in settings. I will seriously consider alternative PDF apps if you can't take a hint -- many of us DON'T WANT THIS INTRUSION OR DISRUPTION!!

  20. There is annoying bug when one moves Adobe Reader between monitors on Windows 11 24H2. After that, duplicate Adobe icons appear in the taskbar. Do you even test your software before releasing it?
