  1. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let us go back to the previous layout.

    It's not that easy to learn a program to the point of being very efficient and once you do, you do NOT want someone to go in and move things all around. Especially when the move makes NO SENSE.

    This new layout is atrocious and there's no way it came from a daily user. No freakin way.

    The only thing this change/update has accomplished is frustration on the part of your user. Can't think of anyone who would see that as a good business move.

  2. Recent update has been incredibly terrible for user experience, worst design in the last few years, if not of all time, cannot unpin ALL TOOLS bar on the left, which literarily takes half of the screen. worst tab management and design, unreadable titles and cause of misclicks

  3. Vertical scroll bar is missing on Adobe Acrobat DC version 2021.007.20091, making it extremely difficult to navigate pages. I've tried all solutions available online, including turning off Touch Mode. The scroll bar is still missing. Please make this a standard upon startup. Additionally, toolbars disappear upon every startup. Settings aren't saving. I've tried Repair Installation feature as well. No luck.

  4. Please allow the user to turn off the home screen, so that we do not have to close it after every single PDF we look at. At the bare minimum allow us to use a keyboard shortcut to close the home screen. The fact that I have to actively close this needless window every single time makes it twice as annoying.

  6. In the PDF Maker plug-in for MS Office, add additional controls in the PDF Preference settings to make accessible PDFs:

    Set the Display Title options to a drop-down menu with the choices of Document Title or File Name.

  7. I would like to permanently close the tools pane. 'Remember current state of Tools Pane' option is not available for Adobe Acrobat DC Pro.

  8. Since there's a push to make publically available PDF's meet ADA accesibility standards, we've been creating the base form fields in inDesign and then doing finishing touches in Acrobat Pro. It's annoying enough that you can't set formatting in the base doc (ie if it should be a number, date, percentage etc). The fact that there's no way to format multiple fields at once is worse. If more than one field is selected, the "format" tab literally disappears from the properties menu.

    I'd just copy the original fields to preserve their settings, but then I'd have to do a lot…

  9. Measurement tool provides measurements in feet and decimals. American metrics are feet and inches, decimals need to be converted to be understood by the end user.

  10. Adobe, please give users the option to permanently hide the Navigation Pane. I have to click the arrow on every single doc I open in order to hide it! Give me a simple option to disable that stupid pane. Do a google search on this and you'll find countless users asking for the same thing...since the last 5 years. Fix it already!

  13. When opening a pdf file on Adobe Acrobat Pro (and some other times, just after launching Adobe Acrobat Pro), the app occasionally stops working and the cursor turns to spinning rainbow for a few minutes. Sometimes (after a long while) the app resumes its functions, other times it does not and I'm forced to force-quit the application and re-launch it.

    1. Launch Adobe Acrobat Pro / Open a pdf file on Acrobat Pro
    2. Mac Pro (Late 2013) (OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.6)
    3. Proper Function
    4. Application crashes and / or freezes

  14. PLEASE stop making this thing pop up at me. I do not want it. Every time I open a document it bugs me to "summarize" it or give me info on it, but the info it gives is incorrect, wrong, and purely made up. It's a stupid, useless tool built on stolen data. Stop shoving it down my throat. I have no need for a inaccurate summary of anything!! What benefit is that?

  16. Things change - as does the UI - that is fine. Professionals working with Adobe Pro have adapted before. However, the changes have DOUBLED the amount of time it takes to mark up a PDF and as far as I can see there is no solution for this.

    • We are not longer able to highlight text, start typing and have text automatically replaced. We also have to select the tool, then implement the mark up.

  19. I'm just going to stop using adobe. The new interface makes what I wan't to do impossible and frustrating. Go back to the older interface and check with your users before making untested and badly designed changes. Mac Preview for me from now.

  20. Adobe Pro is for PROFESSIONALS, but the new interface has been designed by some art student with no sense for FUNCTIONALITY. For a desktop/laptop user (most offices): The menus need to be in one/logical place, not distributed in three directions. The buttons need to be larger and legible. The one good new feature is the ability to customize menus. Keep that. Junk everything else and let's go back to getting our work done. We don't need this silliness. As has been said by others, this new interface sucks.
