1. Change Defaults in Prepare Forms

   During the process of preparing a fillable form from a template, there are certain style attributes that have to be changed to meet my personal style preferences (e.g. font, check-box/radio-box options, form field attributes, and so on).

   Performing these changes on simple forms is not a difficult task but, when dealing with an extensive (e.g. multi-page, multi-field type form) template, this process can be pain-stakeingly tedious and result in lack of continuity.

   A feature which would allow the user to change the defaults in the Prepare Form feature so that the fillable form would be created with the user specified and preferred settings would be of immense value and a great time-saving feature for those of us who practice this type of forms development.

3. I hate the new format. I used Adobe Pro at work for years and loved that and hate this version of the product.

   Old program had many functional editing features in the side bar, I cant find any decent editing featrues in this product.

4. Accessibility Requests!!!

   Feature Requests / Bug Reports for the Accessibility features in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.

   Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (Version 2018.011.20063) on Windows 7 Professional.

   For the Tags panel:
   1. Option to create Lists <L> tags with a set number of List Items <LI> tags instead of one at a time. Time wasted creating one at time.
   2. Option to created tables <Tables> tags with a set number of Rows <TR> tags instead of one at a time. Time wasted creating one at time.
   3. Stop forcing all the Tags folders to all be opened when opening a PDF file! Not efficient if having to reopen a PDF with an extensive Tags structure. These folders need to remain as they were when last saved!

   For the Reading Order Popup menu:
   1. Button to create List Items <LI> and List Body <LBody> for selected text. Currently have to manually change the tag for example <P> to <LBody>. Action Wizard is hit and miss with Lists, so I create from scratch many times.
   2. Button to create Links <Link> for selected text and/or images with a popup box for enter the URL while simultaneously creating its Annotation in the Content panel and in the Tags panel. This would save time.
   3. The Background/Artifact button doesn't work as it should. Items still go to the Tags panel.

   For the Content panel:
   1. Within the Page contents, the option to delete Annotations by selecting it and/or with a right click. This would save time.

   For Adobe Acrobat Pro DC software updates:
   1. Need a way to save my current customized layout so that when the software is updated, it is not lost. Time consuming to recreate with every software update. (iOS and PC).

6. Send for Signature message customization

   It would be really nice to be able to customize the message that automatically populates when sending a document for signature. Instead of it saying "Please review and complete this document," we would like to change it to be the message we paste in every time.

7. Tab order in Adobe Sign

   I set up the proper tab order/work flow in my Acrobat form, and sent it to someone to fill out the fields and eSign. Adobe Sign completely re-ordered the tab order so that the flow didn't work well. The receiver had to keep using his mouse to get to the next field instead of just tabbing to it. The tab order should remain undisturbed when converting from Acrobat to Adobe Sign.

10. Adobe Not Closing after Quick Print

    Adobe used to close after quick print. In the latest version there is a bug that keeps Acrobat open. This is nuisance when printing lots of documents.

11. Subscription Usage Report

    Good morning

    To ensure we are utilising our subscription and ensure users are making use of their licence I understand there is no usage reporting available i.e. when a user authenticates as they use Adobe DC Pro.

    Can I submit this is as a product request please? I appreciate it might not be Adobe's interest as this will enable subscribers to manage licence assignment more efficiently but this would be a great product feature.

12. I HATE the new Acrobat interface!

    I HATE the new Acrobat interface! The new tools toolbar is confusing and my old favorites ( "+" and "-") are missing. Missing also is the Hand icon. Are you guys crazy?

13. Acrobat Pro DC - Sometimes Holds Lock on File after closing it

    Hi,

    Arobat Pro DC closes file OK, but sometimes appears to keep the file locked against changes in Windows (Win10, 64bit, fully updated May2020) etc

    Win 10 \ Windows Explorer is prevented from modifying the parent folder name (for example).

    Does not always happen. Closing Acrobat Pro DC appears to release the file (in that it allows changes to the filepath etc using Windows Explorer etc).

    This is similar to issue reported usign Acrobat READER.

    The Windows Preview tab is NOT showing
    (that Win10 bug (?) is a known issue, but relevant here).

14. BUG: Edit PDF (text editing) Breaks Tag Structure

    Windows environment.

    When using the Edit PDF Tool to change minor character styles (color, weight, underscore, etc.), the Tag structure and read order for the page the edit is applied are broken.

    For example: change the color of a header (H1) line of text. Return to the Tags Panel and all current page content has been consolidated into one <p> Tag. All the original Tags associated with this page are empty and placed randomly through the Tag Structure. Depending on page content, you may be unable to break apart the new tag single into the individual Tags necessary for compliance, especially email, URL, or footnote links as such links may or may not retain elements for compliance once recreated.

    To recreate, build a simple Word Document with header, paragraphs, and add a hyperlink or two to a paragraph. Export to PDF, remediate as necessary. Edit any text on page (color, face, etc.). Review Tag Panel for results.

    Ideally, we would make such edits in source file; however, tools are available in Acrobat PRO. I would expect that one tool would not negatively affect another within the same app.

    Additionally, Edit Tool affects text placement. Changing the color of a center-aligned text frame font may force random attribution changes such left alignment or line breaking of that text. This also affects Tag structure explained above.

16. 2 steps to add check to comments - Build: 19.8.20071.303822

    In previous versions of Acrobat I was able to Check a comment (typically once I had made an edit to my InDesign doc). By setting the filter to show unchecked comments only I was systematically able to go through a set of clients edits. In the new version of Acrobat you have removed the ability to just click to check a comment. I now have to open a drop down menu and select it. This is really annoying when you have a large document with over 100 comments (as I regularly do).

    Please return the simple check box to the comments in Acrobat.

17. Acrobat DC keeps crashing. I don't know if the crashes are being reported back to Adobe or not. Hanging/crashing on saveas.

18. My Adobe Acrobat Pro DC constantly looses page content on open documents, requiring me to close the document.

    pdf documents not opening properly, with blank pages. It is worse if I try and scroll through the article soon after opening it. It will also loose text from the after a time not reading the document. This may be after the computer has been put to 'sleep' for a period (even a few minutes). It reports the error message 'Insufficient data for an image.' The new version is MUCH worse that previous versions. Please sort it out Adobe.

    Some Forms (IRS) restrict areas of the document where you can enter information. This can be helpful, except when you need to sign and date the form after you have filled it in. For some reason the "date" part of the form will not accept text from "Fill and Sign", but it will accept a stamp. All of the default dynamic stamps in Acrobat have additional, un-needed text like "Approved', etc.

    Please add two dynamic stamps that have ONLY 1) the Date and 2) Date and Time without any additional verbage so that the user can quickly sign AND date documents without having to print them out.

20. Please add Bengali language support for OCR

    With over 250 million speakers, Bengali is the seventh most spoken native language in the world. Unfortunately there is no Bengali language support for OCR in Adobe Acrobat Pro. It would be extremely helpful for Bengali language community if Bengali is added in OCR. Thank you.
