Mac Mojave: "save" screen is blank
When I open a PDF and choose the save command or save from the File menu, the "save" screen that pops up is blank. This is a significant functionality that is critical to using the software.
I am running Mojave 10.14.3 and Adobe DC 2019.10.20098

Document Color window is a very important print production tool. It definitely needs a separate resizeable window.
Hi,
The "Document Color" function that is somewhat hidden in the "Convert Colors" window is a very important print production tool. It only becomes really visible when you click its arrow. You cannot resize its window. In a document with many images, it becomes very hard to see all of the different image formats and ICC profiles. It definitely needs a resizeable window as a separate Print Production tool.

Start-up issue on Mac
I have Acrobat Pro DC as part of a Creative Cloud subscription. Running on MacBook Pro under OS X High Sierra 10.13.6.
For several weeks I've had the issue that when starting the app, usually by opening a PDF, there is a interval of a minute or more when it is unresponsive. The document is slow to appear. The Mac process indicator appears (spinning rainbow disc). The delay is quite aggravating. It only happens on the first document opened in a session.
If I quit the app and reopen it, the same thing occurs.
This behavior started recently; and the…1 vote -
Password Protected pdf's
In your next update, please include the option to save documents (from programs such as Microsoft Office) DIRECTLY to password-protected pdf forms. It should be unnecessary to open the pdf's in the Adobe program and then create an additional level of security. The current system requires too many steps, which is neither time- nor labor-efficient. You already include the ability to convert to pdf directly from these programs, so please add the option to convert directly to a password-protected version. Thank you.
1 voteThis feature already exits with Word for every PDF that required password excryption.
1. Create your document or open an existing PDF document using Word
2. From the File menu select Save As
3. Browse to a location to save the document
4. Select PDF (*.pdf) as the document type and click the Options… button
5. In the PDF options section check the Encrypt the document with a password option -
Saving a PDF 508 compliant form to Reader Enabled deletes table summaries
When I save out a PDF form to File > Save as Other > Reader Extended PDF > Enable More Tools, which includes all the necessary elements for 508 compliance, including table summaries, the resultant Reader enabled file has the table summaries deleted.
Thus it is impossible to get the final form PDF to pass 508 testing, because now I cannot edit the final PDF in order to restore the table summary.
Thanks for looking into this.

Acrobat incorrectly adding links to text that contains the word 'news:'
Hi, I have been making PDFs from InDesign CC 2019 running on Mac OS High Sierra. When opening the PDFs in Acrobat Pro DC, it's creating broken links from text that does not look like a URL and where no links have been specified. I think it's the 'Create Links from URLs' feature in Acrobat preferences trying to be helpful but failing miserably. This seems to affect text that uses a colon : but I can't ask my client not to use colons in their copy just because Acrobat is incorrectly reading it as a URL. My client is asking…

Font replaced with dots
Editing a PDF that used Arial Narrow first issued a warning that I don't have the font installed and would substitute it with an other font. Now that I installed the font, each letter or number is replaced with a dot.
The font works fine in a text editor.

PSBs cannot be saved as PDF
Currently large Photoshop documents that are PSBs cannot be saved as Photoshop PDFs. The unacceptable work-around is to flatten the file and hope that it’s small enough to convert to PSD first.
If this is not already being worked on (I hope it is), then please add it to your list. It’s an issue for Photoshop users.

REPEATED ISSUES WITH ADOBE SIGN
I keep having this same issue over and over. I go to use Adobe Sign and it asks me to upgrade. I already have DC Pro. I try repeatedly and eventually it works. So frustrating.

Subscription use analytics
Now that I can no longer license Acrobat Std / Pro per device, Adobe must provide customers analytics to ensure I'm not wasting my subscriptions on named users who aren't using them. If I think of a named user subscription like a water tap, I need to ensure the spigot is not left open unnecessarily and wasting water. Please develop analytics (like others have) that tell me if a named user who has an Acrobat Pro subscription is using any Pro functionality, and how frequently. Same for Acrobat Standard subscriptions. This will allow me to re-assign unused subscriptions instead of…

One install for all editions of Adobe Reader, Acrobat Standard, Acrobat Pro
Now that Acrobat Std and Pro are licensed per named user, and not by device, there is no need to have separate installs of Adobe Reader, Acrobat Std / Pro. There should be just one install that I can put on every single computer. If the user doesn't sign in with an Adobe ID (or enterprise/federated ID) they get access to Reader functionality. If they sign in and their ID has been assigned a Std subscription, they get to use Std functionality. If they sign in and their ID has been assigned a Pro subscription, they get to use Pro…

Accessibility checker nested alternate text
Checker flags link in a table cell as invalid. (<Link> and <Link - OBJR> in a table <TD> cell). I believe this is not a failure point and should not be flagged. Would appreciate a review of this check and a note regarding which protocol is the reason if I am incorrect.

Adobe Acrobat Pro XML Export Bug Report
by Rich Hartness, rhartness@mabnc.org1 Title: Isolated field format losses with Acrobat PDF to XML exports
2 Intent
I'm writing to report there seems to be a very small but significant bug in the Acrobat 2017 and Pro DC PDF to XML exporter, to share my compelling evidence, and hopefully to gain your support to authorize a code fix that will correct this issue in a future update.
3 Problem description and scope
The problem seems to only exist in XML exports. In…

UI Themes
There needs to be UI themes that don't use the same scheme as MS Office.
It is like giving a room a clean look by having the walls, furniture and art be monochrome and close to the same shade. Any designer is going to tell you contrast is important. If everything blends together, it becomes more difficult to see, strains the eyes and thus more difficult to use and rather visually unappealing. It needs contrast between elements to guide the eye, making things more efficient and visually appealing.
Please give us more themes or tap into all the artists that…

print secured PDF fails in latest Acobat Pro build
New issue with Acrobat Pro DC 2019.010.20098.
I am on Mac Mojave, 16.16.7
Attempting to print a college transcript from Parchment, a Secured PDF. Document Properties, Security tab says Printing should be allowed, but printing fails with "There were no pages selected to print" - see attached screenshot. My office mate has version 2019.010.20071 and can print this document no problem. This is the second bug I have found in this build.1 vote -

Word, Save as PDF, best for electronic distribution fails with error
New problem today, 3/7/19 I can no longer save a Word doc as a PDF optimized for electronic distribution. The Word doc itself doesn't seem to matter, happens with different fonts etc.
In Word, attempt to File -> Save As -> PDF with Best for Electronic Distribution option selected fails with the message Can't Export File. There are three workarounds: 1)Save As PDF with Best for Printing option, 2)Print -> Print to PDF, or 3)click the Acrobat tab in Word and Create PDF icon upper left.
my setup:
Mac OS 10.14.3
Word 16.16.7
