  2. My computer system is MacOS 10.14.4, Acrobat version is DC (2019.020.20099). After adding fonts to macOS FontBook, the Acrobat DC “save as PDF” interface has been scrambled.

    Hi,

    Thanks for reporting the issue to us. Can you please provide some more details :

    1. What font did you add via macOS font book?
    2. Do you see this scrambled interface only on save dialog? Can you please go to Home / My computer/ Document Cloud/ Add an Account section on the left hand rail and let us know if you observe the same issue on these screens.

  3. When I want to edit an object in an external editor, the tool ”Edit using…” only shows ”Open with…”.
    Illustrator/Photoshop is not shown in the list as it used to. It makes no difference if I set them (or any other compatible app) as default editors in preferences.

  4. I am over Europe and Asia and must convert PDF's for many languages. I now have to use google translator and its 1000 word limit.I need a module cloud based, server on PC based that we can utilize. I would think in today's world this would be a big selling feature

  5. When I drag a box around the text Adobe isn't marking it as a reading order item. Sometimes if I drag it a second time it works, but sometimes it doesn't.

  6. Just the other day my Acrobat DC suddenly started popping up a "recent files" window every single time I go to do anything on my computer, even do a google search or look at email, if Acrobat is open. This is incredibly annoying because it stops everything I'm doing and I have to close that window before I can keep going. I don't even need a recent files list but this new popup is driving me nuts. If you don't make it possible to disable it or just get rid of it altogether I'm switching to another app.

  7. Ive created a form with about 20 drop down fields as most of these fields wont be used at the same time. When trying to send through adobesign, it restricts me from moving forward because I have "blanks or spaces entered." If there was a null or blank option that would leave the boxes empty vs. having to have the fields/dropdowns all say "please select if applicable," this would give it a much cleaner look

  8. I want to be able to do form that, when someone fills it, they dont need to log in to their email account to send it to me. I want it that, when pressing the send button, it automatically sends it to my email account.

  9. I regularly print pdf files in booklet format. A lot of files stop the with error code 900. While on an older MacBook with Adobe Reader 9.5.5 all documents print flawless! I will not activate this version until I have a solution for this problem!

  10. As an enterprise customer would like to have the ability to create an installer package for latest version of Acrobat. At times there are delays of several weeks or does not become available at all if the latest version includes an "optional" update or patch.

  11. Every single week I open up a pdf to edit it and all of my tools are rearranged or removed from the tool bar on the right. I edit pdfs every day and my arrangement only lasts a few days before it suddenly resets. This is super annoying and I would like to know how to get it to stop doing that. I need Organize Pages, Edit PDF and Stamp in the order I have them now, in a few days all of these will be rearranged and Stamp will be removed. I then have to go back into More…

  12. Back to the usability idea ... One should be able to have a UNIQUE reference number for each and every post. If users/moderators take the time to review posts, then they should be able to reference them BY NUMBER in their own personal notes and to others.

    Right now I cannot possibly suggest that you refer to comment xxxx from date xxxx under topic xxxx .....

    How about a simple SQL database to track things ??? These pop-up subcategories by keyword search are helpful, but they are not nearly complete !

    PS Number = xxxxxxxx + Section + 2 keywords…

  13. Duh is this Nov 2019? Why can't I search both titles only and entire text for all requests? Does Adobe seriously want/expect users and moderators to scan FORTY-FIVE (45) pages of a forum to weed out duplicate requests ?? .... I certianly do NOT want to put in a NEW request for something that's already in the count. WORSE YET, if the same concept is entered 4 times as 5 + 3 + 2 + 10 votes, then Adobe will surely not value that as 20 VOTES and will probably NOT fix it !!!   14. The Acrobat XI version before Acrobat XI Pro 2017 let the user drag the corner of the QAT (Quick Access Toolbar) so that it would expand to 2 or more lines. That way, the most-used icons would all be on the main screen without the insessant need to click on the 3 buttons to expand the options and see the icons .... Worse yet, if there are many icons, you have to press the down-arrow to get there. Yes, I understand that the icons can be 'moved up'.

  15. Once the user sets the scale (also, look at having a "set custom drawing scale by measuring bar scale" option like Bluebeam), allow the user to customize the parameters of lines and shapes to create lines that are a certain length or rectangles and circles that are a certain size.

  16. The snapshot tool is already there, allow the user to past that snapshot within the same PDF. For users working with drawings it is helpful to be able to take a snapshot of a layout and move it to a different area. I worked around this by saving the snapshot as a JPEG and adding an image to the file, which is OK but the image may not come in at the correct scale which leads to errors.

  19. In the Home tab there should be the following main tools listed:
    - Open (Document)
    - Create PDF
    - Combine files

    Those are what we use the most.

    My Home is showing Organize Pages, Fill & Sign, and Protect.I don't use those.

    Or, you can add the tools bar to the Home so I don't have to switch to the tools tab.

  20. Our large organization needs layered PDFs to view and filter AutoCAD layers, since we will no longer be able to make native AutoCAD files available in an AutoCAD viewer.

    Layered PDFs seem to have the limitation of not being able to save the option of 'List Layers for Visible Pages'.

    In our case, users need to be able to rely on a clean set of layers used for each page, not the confusing list of all layers in the document. We have many multi-paged PDFs that we planned to use to view and filter layers, and the accumulation of layers…
