Apple & Adobe, quit foisting your problems onto your custormers!!!!!Here's a unique idea. Software idiots at Apple start talking to the software idiots at Adobe! Work out your problems on the company level before forcing your bad programming on your customers in the form of buggy forced upgradates!!!!!! My computer used to work wonderfully, now it's just a ********** brick because of forced updates!! 1 vote

Highlighter tool automated stroke (old) vs. Corrective stroke (new) it should be an option, not an adaptationI think the user should have the option to use the highlighter free stroke corrective option (new) or automated stroke option (old). Users who read longer documents with many long highlights will struggle with the corrective method (new). It is helpful within a long document to have the pointer change to word select and highlight multiple sentences by simply dragging down through the rows of text, as opposed to skillfully highlighting each sentence independently. One option is for a stylus, the other is for workstations. Adobe should make that a preference. In the legal field, it can take forever to… 1 vote

Word, Save as PDF, best for electronic distribution fails with errorNew problem today, 3/7/19 I can no longer save a Word doc as a PDF optimized for electronic distribution. The Word doc itself doesn't seem to matter, happens with different fonts etc.
In Word, attempt to File -> Save As -> PDF with Best for Electronic Distribution option selected fails with the message Can't Export File. There are three workarounds: 1)Save As PDF with Best for Printing option, 2)Print -> Print to PDF, or 3)click the Acrobat tab in Word and Create PDF icon upper left.
 my setup:
 Mac OS 10.14.3
 Word 16.16.7

In Adobe Acrobat Pro DC - add a "subtraction" option in the drop-down box in the Text Fields Properties Box. This would be VERY helpful! Not having a subtraction option in the Text Field Properties reduces the value of the calculate function. The current "workaround" of inputting a negative number to allow for addition is a poor alternative. 4 votesHi Gary You can either use a custom JavaScirpt calculation or the simplified field notation calculation, if your field names follow the required convention, with the “-” operator you will be able to perform subtraction. However, we value your suggestion/ideas and we will have the engineering notified. Should we need more information inregard to this, we shall connect with you
 Thank you for your patience.

Adobe Sign - Suggest commonly used templates on the "Sign" TabThe Send tab in Adobe Sign needs to have an option for frequently used templates. This should be a "one click" option. The current state of the program is to "Add Files," click on "Library Documents," and then dig for the template. I expect the workflow within my products to be much faster. 1 vote

unable to resave a PDF fileAdobe Acrobat Pro DC is dropping Excel formatting (boxes around cells) when converted to PDF document. It also will not allow a PDF document to be changed and resaved as the same file name. You now have to save as a new file name every time, which makes it impossible to work with. 1 voteHi Can you share a sample Excel document where you are facing this issue? Is it happening for all Excel files? Thanks

Improve OCR stabilityAcrobat DC, Windows 10, 16 GB RAM, relatively fast processor. (1) I frequently must OCR documents of 2,000 pages or more. With Acrobat for Mac (which I used from 2012 to 2018), I could start the OCR process, go away for an hour or two or three, and it would be finished with the entire document when I returned. With Acrobat DC for Windows, if I try to OCR more than about 150 pages at a time, Acrobat will crash. Not immediately, but after it's run for 10 minutes or so. All progress will be lost. I will have to… 8 votes

Changes compared between 2 PDFs are not accurateWhen comparing 2 versions of a PDF, some of the items the program highlights come up as changes where there isn't any. For example, in one section, a piece of text had been moved a few millimeters, and yet the program registered it as a completely new piece of text, which is false. What are the rules on how Acrobat identifies changes between 2 PDFs? And can this be altered by Adobe and/or the user? 1 vote

Big: Filter status not working as intendedWhen filtering comments by ‘completed’ and then actually selecting a comment as having become ‘completed’ it is not removed from the list of visible comments. You need to go to filters, turn it off and back on again to clear the ‘completed’ comments. Very frustrating. It’s worked as intended before this latest update. 7 votes

Reading Order not showing up- When I open a document the reading order is missing.
- One of my clients has sent me a pdf with the reading order attached and the tags assigned, the document has been tagged, it's all good to go. However, when I open the document on my end, all of the reading orders have been removed. I know the reading order has been set, i checked the original document and it was tagged properly, but when she emails it to me the reading order is not showing up on my end.

Allow users to save documents for E-signAs a lawyer, I need to send documents for client's signature using my own email platform. Having the documents sent by adobe is a hassle and creates a privacy issue for us. On top of this, I also send contracts using our invoicing software. Adobe doesn't allow me to download the contract containing the e sign box for the client to sign. I believe that Docusign offers this feature. As such, I am likely going to have to switch to them unless this issue is resolved quickly. Pretty confident that this is an issue for others, especially law firms like… 1 vote

Acrobat DC Pro crashes every time I open multiple PDFsAcrobat DC recently started to crash every time I open two PDFs. It just closes all the windows without showing any error messages.
Uninstalling and reinstalling did not help. I assume this is associated with some recent update, since this bug started to appear in the last one month. Would anybody know how to fix this?3 votes

Global font formattingI would love to have the ability to select an embedded font of your choosing and change its formatting across the entire document. Enfocus PitStop allows you to do global font replacement, but adding the ability to change size, color, and other formatting would be a major time-saver. Thanks,

Text can still be copied after setting PDF Protect to Content Copying: Not Allowed. When I have PDF security set to Content Copying: Not Allowed in Acrobat DC but allow low-resolution printing, I can still copy text from the PDF in Apple Preview. If I also set printing to Not Allowed, then copying of text is disabled. It's a both or none situation. I need to allow low-resolution printing, but not allow content copying. 3 votes
