1. Expand properties for Strikeout and Replace tools (so lines could be thickened)

   It's often hard to see the line added by the Replace and Strikethrough tool. Being able to change the color helps, but being able to thicken the line would be a huge help to those with vision challenges. Why not give users the same properties that are available for the line tool?

2. The latest version is horrible

   The latest version of Acrobat is horrible. Why did you have to completely flip the entire interface so it is backward. The tools are not readily accessible as they were before. This is a terrible idea. Please offer an option to change the interface back to the tool we know and can use quickly and efficiently. I'm trying to get work done!

3. New Simplified Appearance

   Go back to the old layout appearance as this new one sucks. You have taken what once just lived in the old file menu bar, hen taken it and shifted repeatable functionalities to the right hand side bar in the previous "new layout", but this "new simplified" layout takes that and now gives you two side bars and almost no functional "settings" adjustments you can make all from one place. You have decentralized all the settings, options, and tools thus making it look more sparse but in actuality making it less simplified.

   Do better.

   Don't change the appearance and functionalities and call it simplified when you havemade it harder than just having everything in the top file menu bar.

   This is poor design, poor engineering, and lacklustre coding, and in keeping with Adobe's continual efforts to thwart actual usability without paying for functionality and use.

5. Free-hand Pen Tool

   A free-hand pen tool would be in Adobe's best interest. This tool would allow users to mark a PDF with a digital pen of sorts.

   Other document editors that are inferior in many other ways have been winning out with both myself and many other consumers because of the free-hand drawing & annotating capablities.

6. Menu Bar back on top

   I hate the features bar on the right side. It is not natural to go to the bottom of a window to change the zoom or use tools that should be on the top ribbon. Please allow users to choose where they would like these tools. This is a horrible user experience and should definitely something people should be allowed to choose. This is going to cause so much more work for me when I need to comment a bunch on a document because I will have to click on a menu to get a comment box. I sometimes have up to 45 comments on a document that I have to work on weekly and you have just added an additional 45 clicks to my workload. I need the comment button to be on the top as well as the zoom options. I also would like my UI window to be clean. I don’t like floating menus and I need to be able to remove it please like we use to be able to do.
   I mean really if it isn’t broken don’t mess with it. You had a great UI and now you have turned into garbage.

7. If we uncheck "Enable AI," actually disable it for us.

   I very intentionally do not have "Enable generative AI features in Acrobat" checked in my Preferences. For security reasons, I can't use AI in my work, nor do I want to. This appears to be the only place I can indicate my choice not to use Adobe's AI features.

   However, I still have:
   1) a pop-up pushing AI every time I open Adobe;
   2) a bright flashy button at the top of my screen pushing AI;
   3) now when I highlight a word the popup with editing tools ALSO includes an "ask AI assistant" option.

   This is incredibly distracting when editing documents. Please trust users when they attempt to opt out of this feature and stop shoving it in our faces. In the meantime, I'll be testing alternate PDF markup programs free of this garbage.

   right now, you force us to make a folder, get all our documents into that folder to combine them but - you need to make it easer, - and why do we need to drag it somewhere anyway. Why not just click on what we need to combine - you force us to do a lot of unnecessary steps.
   Also, to print to ADOBE - its too slow, IT STALLS all the time. There is something terribly wrong with your "PRINT TO ADOBE" option. I have to go to the internet to get a FREE PDF option and print to that when I am paying a fortune for my subscription to ADOBE!! You probably never read these but you need to pay attention because the free PDF options are taking your business. You are supposed to be the best!

9. Request to move "All Tools" back to right side

   Request to move the toolbar back to the right side of the screen. It's disorienting to have it on the left after so long on working on documents with the prior orientation.

10. "Show comments pane when a PDF with comments is opened" will not stay disabled.

    See title. If the box is unchecked, it will be checked again the next time the preferences screen is opened.

    The "+ Create" button needs to be removed from the Tab bar and placed onto the All Tools bar. I routinely hit the Create button when intending to resize or move the Acrobat window, the button quite literally couldn't be in a worse place. (Even just moving it to the front of the tabs would alleviate the issue) The only option to hide the button is to disable the new Acrobat, which is ridiculous.

    The new Adobe is disaster. It is hopeless to use. It is not stable, all the times i need to close it by task menager. All the tools is not simple to find. Even to make comments to document You need to spend fiew minutes to find option. All the many was moved to reverse side, to right, when earlier was on left. All tools is hidden and hard to fine anything. All the times the program blokking changes, and ask for confirm at documents is safety.
    Wake up, You lost the clients, the concurrance is far away from You Bluebeam is tousend times better to make any comments ant changes on PDF.

13. Arabic script with Fill & Sign

    This topic has been discussed before, but I want to share one thing the team might find useful.

    Now we tell all Acrobat users that Adobe Fill and Sign doesn't support Arabic. But when you look at it, we are able to type Arabic very well on Desktop machines and mobile devices.

    On a Mac for instance, as an Adobe CC subscriber, I have to choose English in Preferences for my Acrobat language in order to show [ Fill & Sign, Send and Track, and Send for Signature ] features in Tools workspace. If I go and change Acrobat language to Arabic, or English with Arabic Support above three features will not be displayed any longer.     I cannot test Arabic with Adobe Fill and Sign with Acrobat Language changed to Arabic in Preferences to see if it handles Arabic fully. I bet Acrobat team can do this for us.

    To shed light on this issue… as long as I'm within the Fill & Sign environment, I'm able to type and view Arabic that I typed as expected, it is once I leave Fill &Sign environment that Arabic words get fragmented and all characters get disjointed. So could this be to the fact that we must change the Language of Acrobat itself to Arabic so that Fill & Sign to function well? This I cannot verify and test due to he reason I mentioned above that some features will disappear from Acrobat upon selecting Arabic for language.

    This topic has been discussed before, but I want to share one thing the team might find useful.

14. Make less complex - make graphic editing friendly

    Paint has the tools needed for commenting on eg a Music Score under PDF. Why re-invent the wheel with the clumsy clunky and partly unavailable Adobe Drawing tools under 'Edit'. Suggest collaboration with Paint and huge de-cluttering of the highly confusing and awfully corporate Adobe platform. Pro very poor value and re set password an Odyssean journey.

15. Hitting the Escape key deletes unsaved comment content

    Closing a comment with the Esc key deletes text entered into the comment.

    Details:

    System: Windows 10 Enterprise 64-bit Build 19042
    OS-Language: German
    Application Language: German
    Acrobat DC / Acrobat Reader DC Version: 2022.001.20142

    Steps to reproduce

    1. Open PDF; PDF:X4 created with InDesign CC 2022 (17.3) using placeholder text generated by InDesign
    2. Open commenting toolbar
    3. Select text or place cursor
    4. Start writing ("lorem ipsum")
    5. Hit "Esc" key

    Expected Result: Comment gets closed and text input is saved

    Actual Result: Comment gets closed and only the first keystroke ("l") is saved

    The same error can be observed for all commenting tools, however if you do not start the comment by writing in the PDF, not even the first keystroke will leave a trace if exiting the comment with the Esc key.

    Closing a comment with the Esc key deletes text entered into the comment.

16. I need it on Linux - Kubuntu

    I need your full suite of products, specially those related to pdf, (reader, editor, etc.), for work on Linux, kubuntu or Debian.
    I know of there are many companies of the lack of these tools jeopardize the switch of the work stations to Linux, for the daily office task.

    Thanks for your suggestion, but currently we have don’t have any plans to offer our Acrobat on Linux.

17. Can we have the old one back. This is too cumbersome.

    So hard to use and wastes so much of my time looking for things.
    I just need the preview/navigator on the side so I can rotate or crop and a highlighter in the tools and the hand to move the page around. Every time I open a file it defaults back to nothing I can use. Please bring back version 10

18. Request for Customizable Bookmarks Tool Panel Placement in Adobe Acrobat

    Dear Adobe Support Team,
    I am writing to share my frustration with the current version of Adobe Acrobat, specifically regarding the inability to move tool panels—such as the Bookmarks panel—to the left side or other locations within the application window. In previous versions, the placement of the Bookmarks panel and tools was on the left (which makes sense to be on the left), and it is essential for my daily workflow and productivity to keep it on the left.

    The recent interface changes have switched sides of all the tools, and now the Bookmarks panel is fixed on the right side, with no option to reposition it. This limitation disrupts my work and makes the software less user-friendly. Many users, including myself, rely on the ability to organize tools according to our needs.

    I strongly urge Adobe to include the ability to move panels and tools, or to provide enhanced customization options in future updates. This change would help users like me work more efficiently and maintain the high standards we expect from Adobe products. We don’t have time to spend figuring out the new way to work, when we have WORK to get done quickly every day. This drastic change of tool / menu positioning is a serious time waster when there are deadlines that need to be met.

    SINCE ITS NEW UPDATE ADOBE HAS BEEN MORE COMPREHENSIVE AND THIS TOOL BAR I WISH IT WERE ON TOP AS BEFORE AND NOT ON THE SIDE AND IT IS LESS VISIBLE. BESIDES, IT BECAME NOT USER FRIENDLY. 20. Critisicm on global development of Acrobat and Adobe

    I think it is a very bad thing if a software manufacturer implements major changes such as the totally new design of acrobat pro. I didn't get any notic. it was just there. the handling is ****. Sorry but it is. My quick tool bar was gone. The tools wer gone to the left side. in Short: Without notifying the customer, it is a no go!
    Not even the support knew about this instantly. They had to look it up?! And if you intent to forward critiscm, no one feels responsible. To what sort of company have you been developing. Next step will be to disable javascript, right, so that i cannot earn any money at all.
