  2. SO SLOW! It would be one thing if i was putting in a couple boxes. I have done everything recommended and the speed is worse than old dial up internet!
    PDF reader Pro is so much faster but doesn't have the same customizing options.
    This cant be the best Adobe could do? If so I want my money back

  5. I need the Adobe Reader window to be fully adjustable to fit around my various open programs. The latest update forces a minimum height, and the toolbars are not moveable.

  6. Every document I open I need to fit to page manually. I have my preferences set to fit page, but it isn't working. Before the update it worked fine.

  8. One moment, I was using Acrobat to review and edit page proofs for a medical journal I handle and the next moment all my customization was gone! No toolbars, nothing I need to do my job. All gone! Additionally, the new layout is HUGE and unwieldy. I want to be able to sort through several PDFs to compare pages and revisions. Now, I have one page taking up the middle of my screen and this giant blank workspace all around it. Where did everything go? Why did Adobe completely change everything after years of a familiar, but ever updating application?…

  9. Application Error
    The instruction at 0x0000000066BC0560 referenced memory at 0x0000000066BC0560. The memory could not be written.

    Click on OK to terminate the program

    This happens after opening a PDF in Adobe Acrobat (Continuous Release Version 2024.002.20991 | 64-bit).

    This error is received after opening a PDF in Acrobat. I have run the add/remove programs > Modify > repair program and am still getting the error. I tried to run a repair on Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop app, but it only has the remove option. Checking for updates reports that everything is up to date.

  10. had to reinstall Acrobat DC and now a plug in that we use, all the icons in the menu are displayed as broken image icons. uninstalled both and reinstalled still no difference. Plug in is fine on 2023.003.20215 64bit, but on the 2023.003.20244 is where the issue is.

  11. What have you done to my ADobe viewer?
    It just changed in the middle of the day!
    I dont know how to use this "new" version
    Whoever thought of this is terrible idea
    Now i have to try and figure out all new way to do the PDFs
    Please put it back to NORMAL!!!
    I can;t find anything.
    If its not broken, why are you trying to "fix" it?

Since updating to Acrobat Pro DC (version 2017.012.20098), I cannot individually copy arrow, line, rectangle, or oval shapes (with or without accompanying comments) from one PDF and paste them into another PDF. As an editor, I use these tools all day to mark corrections and I regularly have the need to carry over unaddressed/outstanding edits to the next version of the project. Without the ability to simply copy and paste, I have to redo a lot of work—losing efficiency and opening up room for error. Please restore this fundamental function!

  13. Although most software does not require system reboot, acrobat does. It is a kind of installation malfunction because there is no reason for reboot

  14. The GIANT icons! The in-app sending that doesn't work! The childishness of the design and interface! The distance from the powerful controls that I have come to use and count on from decades of using Acrobat pro and seeing it grow in capacity and power.

    Time
    I open this, save a document, send a document, reset the screen again to show thumbnails, I curse you all.

    How can it be both harder to use and more childish?

  16. The country list in the form for creating a Digital ID is outdated. For example, "Yugoslavia," a country that has not existed for over 30 years, is still listed. Additionally, several current countries are missing from the list. Please update the country list to reflect the current geopolitical landscape.

  17. I came in with a notification to log into Adobe Creative Suite for profile setup. After running the the dialog box to set up the profile, I lost all comments on shared Acrobat files. That is over 5 hours of review comments lost. Is there a way to retrieve those comments? I have no interest in reviewing a 90 page document again.

    1. This issue happens to you for one specific file or on everyone.
    2. Could you please try opening the shared file from Web(Browser) and let us know if comments are visible or not.
    3. Also please share error if you got any.

  18. The new design is extremely buggy. Following are all the problems I am facing since the new update. As a paying consumer, this new update feels like something a child made...

    1. The application has become extremely laggy. (I never had this problem before the new update). I edit a simple text on the PDF, I have to wait a good minute or two for the text to change.

    2. When I copy Korean text from the pdf and try to paste it somewhere else, occasionally it distorts the Korean text into Chinese characters.

    3. I am seeing the "Not responding"…

  19. Currently, Acrobat updates don’t show up in the Creative Cloud app like they do for Photoshop or Premiere Pro. You can manually check for updates inside Acrobat, but it doesn’t always show an update, and there’s no popup or alert in either the Acrobat app or CC to notify you when one is available. It's a very annoying experience overall.

    It would be much easier if Acrobat updates appeared directly in the Creative Cloud app, so all apps could be updated together and users would get notified. Alternatively, Acrobat could provide its own update notifications…

  20. After the latest update I am unable to use the Enhance Camera Image option when performing OCR. I am given the handles to select the border area of the document, but the popup window with the "Enhance" button does not appear, leaving me unable to continue.
