  1. Can we stop defaulting preferences when there is a CC update. My tools keep disappearing and having to open them and viewing preferences are gone. Having to change it everytime you update and I never know when that is going to happen as I don't ever get notified.

  2. Please create a lite version. This program is so heavy with all the unnecessary tools. I just need to edit a PDF and it's been an hour I am downloading and installing it.

  3. In Prepare Form, why can't I use the Select Object Tool to select multiple fields with a marquee anymore? I've always used it in the past but every time I use it now, it automatically switches to Edit Text & Images, which I don't want it to do. This change supposed to be an "improvement" in the most recent update of Acrobat DC, but it has made my job both harder and take longer. Evidently, there's no way turn off Edit Text & Images when you're in Prepare Form, so you're just stuck editing fields without using a marquee to…

During a support call this evening with one of your Senior Technical Representatives, I asked if a Fillable Form could be printed without the Fill Color appearing when users print their completed text-entry forms. She indicated that this option does not currently exist, but she thought it could be a great feature request to inquire about. She strongly suggested that I send this request along for consideration.   5. Since the latest Adobe update (version 2019.008.20074), it now requires to save the PDF, then the right pane appears and you need to select "Send as Attachment", then select default and/or custom mail application before the mail application is actually launched. This is so cumbersome compared to what it was in the previous versions.
    Why make use jump through so many hoops when it worked fine before? Can we set our defaults so it will turn into a 'One button' operation, or are we at the mercy of the adobe bureaucracy?

  7. Please enable zooming and scrolling while using commenting tools like the "connected lines" tool. I often have to trace lines on a schematic and it is REALLY difficult to do without being able to zoom or scroll using control / shift plus the mouse wheel.

    Really this should be enabled when using any commenting tool but it's especially problematic with the connected lines tool.

  8. the edit tools are different. we use these in our business and expect them to look a certain way. there is no reason to have moved the icons OR the look of edits. not happy!

IF i am having a pdf docs which i need to sign on all the pages, i need to sign this each time on each page and save each tine after each signature, each time selection of tools is also a pain!! don't understand why each time after placing a certificate, pdf asking to save after signature/certificate are placed, it should give a final confirmation once everything is done. i can understand its for security but at least the person who is signing should have this option that he can sign on all docs and at the end save everything.…

  10. EXAMPLE: I just scanned 19 pages then clicked on TOOLS to use the stamp command. Aggghh I didnt realize that my original scans are now lost forever presumably becuase I didnt save or 'export' the scane? <weep>. Surely you should alert the user that he's not saved his work?

  11. Problem: A PDF-file of 7600 pages. Selecting all even pages in Tools/Manage Pages. Then deleting all even pages except the first or last one. That takes on my iMac with newest DC version over 45 minutes. On a 10 years old PC with Acrobat version 5 it takes less then 3 minutes. That is 15 times faster! This bug needs to be fixed.

  12. For example, if we type in text in the pdf using the "Add Text" tool which uses a text box in which you can type.
    Now lets say this text box is quite big and you have typed a lot of stuff into it at different times.
    Suppose you want the formatting of the last paragraph to match the formatting of the first paragraph out of a total of 8 paragraphs (all paragraphs are in the same box).
    Now instead of matching the two paragraphs in formatting by manually selecting Text font, Text size, Bold, Italics, Text colour, Line spacing…

The measurement tool lacks any ability to change the text font, size, and color for measurement labels, the default is not sufficient especially because it tends to glitch and turn from an Ariel type font to a very spaced out Courier font which is not convenient for measuring small distances, the perimeter and area measure tool should also enable text callouts.

  14. Currently, the "compare files" function on Acrobat DC does not work if one/both of the file(s) to be compared is/are Adobe Signed/ digital signed document(s).

    Since the comparison itself does not affect the contents of the document(s) that has(have) used the Adobe Sign/other digital sign tools. I hope Acrobat DC/Adobe Sign Team will solve this problem in the near future.

  15. Need a keyboard shortcut for IMAGE tools - i.e, once I select one or more images in "PDF EDIT" mode, I don't want to use the mouse to always go select the tool I need (for me, it's "Crop Image" that I am constantly clicking).

  16. Apparently the new interface does not allow you to select, and keep selected, text comments. ALso, you can no longer make window selections to select multiple text comments at one time. Also, you cannot keep text selected, or have the option to double click to edit text. This new interface has tripled the time it takes for me to comment on documents. Please give US the option of how we want to handle selections!

  17. After OCR recognition provide a facility not just for correcting the text, but for meta-data labeling of fields and regions. This data would make machine-learned document management much more effective.
    For example, the automated extraction of data from Insurance company EOBs. You might argue, of course, that this is not in Adobe's balliwick, but I'd argue that this is a natural addition to your commenting tools.

    Thanks for reporting your concern.
    For the first question, ability to correct OCRed text. This functionality is already there. Go to Tools> Enhance scan> Recognize text> Correct Recognize text

    For the 2nd query I will raise a feature request for you. We will look into this and inform you if there is nay update.

  18. The View > Rotate View tool seems to only work and display correctly in the Page Thumbnail pane, in that all the pages display as being rotated (as it is just a view). When using the same tool while viewing the document via Organize Pages, it only rotates the first page (even when no pages are selected). Can this be corrected to display correctly in the Organize Pages view?
