  1. I am frustrated by the view or placement changes of the menu. It seems the menu items on the top left (save, print, tools, etc.) are now on the right and the items on the right (editing menu) are now on the left side. Automatically I go to the left to get something and find it has been moved and have to look on the right, I am searching back and forth all day, very frustrating.   2. Cannot change fill color to transparent ("no color") using the new tools.
    Only way to do it is to go into the properties via right click or Ctrl+E.

  3. I would LOVE it if you folks could make the Comments Tool auto-open and/or by default somehow. I open lots and lots of pages every day and it would be really wonderful if the Comments just opened every time I opened a new doc.

During a support call this evening with one of your Senior Technical Representatives, I asked if a Fillable Form could be printed without the Fill Color appearing when users print their completed text-entry forms. She indicated that this option does not currently exist, but she thought it could be a great feature request to inquire about. She strongly suggested that I send this request along for consideration.   7. Currently, the "compare files" function on Acrobat DC does not work if one/both of the file(s) to be compared is/are Adobe Signed/ digital signed document(s).

    Since the comparison itself does not affect the contents of the document(s) that has(have) used the Adobe Sign/other digital sign tools. I hope Acrobat DC/Adobe Sign Team will solve this problem in the near future.

  8. We want real smooth scrolling (not just continuous scrolling).

    I mean that kind of scroll we get when using a web browser. SMOOTH scrolling! It would also look like dragging text with a "hand tool" in Reader but with a mouse wheel.

    Current method makes text jump one or three lines at a time (depending on your mouse settings), which pretty much irritating!

IF i am having a pdf docs which i need to sign on all the pages, i need to sign this each time on each page and save each tine after each signature, each time selection of tools is also a pain!! don't understand why each time after placing a certificate, pdf asking to save after signature/certificate are placed, it should give a final confirmation once everything is done. i can understand its for security but at least the person who is signing should have this option that he can sign on all docs and at the end save everything.…

  10. As an organisation we receive many PDF documents which are centrally stored within SharePoint. We have a requirement to read and provide comments on the content from a multi-user base, i.e. we need the ability to collaborate on a single PDF where all Users can read and write comments on the same PDF document, plus all edits are saved centrally. Essentially can Adobe provide the same collaboration tools as Microsoft does with Office 365?

  11. After OCR recognition provide a facility not just for correcting the text, but for meta-data labeling of fields and regions. This data would make machine-learned document management much more effective.
    For example, the automated extraction of data from Insurance company EOBs. You might argue, of course, that this is not in Adobe's balliwick, but I'd argue that this is a natural addition to your commenting tools.

    Thanks for reporting your concern.
    For the first question, ability to correct OCRed text. This functionality is already there. Go to Tools> Enhance scan> Recognize text> Correct Recognize text

    For the 2nd query I will raise a feature request for you. We will look into this and inform you if there is nay update.

  12. Where did the Read-Aloud feature in new Acrobat disappear to? This is a major feature loss, and it's simply impractical to expect users to open documents in Reader to access read aloud. Unless this functionality is restored quickly, we'll explore ditching Acrobat in favour of other PDF tools.

  13. Apparently the new interface does not allow you to select, and keep selected, text comments. ALso, you can no longer make window selections to select multiple text comments at one time. Also, you cannot keep text selected, or have the option to double click to edit text. This new interface has tripled the time it takes for me to comment on documents. Please give US the option of how we want to handle selections!

  14. Since the latest Adobe update (version 2019.008.20074), it now requires to save the PDF, then the right pane appears and you need to select "Send as Attachment", then select default and/or custom mail application before the mail application is actually launched. This is so cumbersome compared to what it was in the previous versions.
    Why make use jump through so many hoops when it worked fine before? Can we set our defaults so it will turn into a 'One button' operation, or are we at the mercy of the adobe bureaucracy?

  17. EXAMPLE: I just scanned 19 pages then clicked on TOOLS to use the stamp command. Aggghh I didnt realize that my original scans are now lost forever presumably becuase I didnt save or 'export' the scane? <weep>. Surely you should alert the user that he's not saved his work?

  18. Can we stop defaulting preferences when there is a CC update. My tools keep disappearing and having to open them and viewing preferences are gone. Having to change it everytime you update and I never know when that is going to happen as I don't ever get notified.

  20. The View > Rotate View tool seems to only work and display correctly in the Page Thumbnail pane, in that all the pages display as being rotated (as it is just a view). When using the same tool while viewing the document via Organize Pages, it only rotates the first page (even when no pages are selected). Can this be corrected to display correctly in the Organize Pages view?
