  2. Bug Report - JavaScript Editor - TAB key to move text over exits the Editor

    Bug Report - In JavaScript, it's common practice to format the code to make it more readable by using the TAB key to indent text. This has worked fine in all previous versions of Adobe Acrobat that I've used. However, in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, pressing the TAB key moves the text to the right once, as it should, but then the focus moves to the OK button to close the Editor.     Hi all,

    Adobe Acrobat and Reader official update containing the fix for this issue is now available. This update will be automatically pushed to all existing installations of Acrobat and Reader. If you want, you may also manually trigger the update by opening the application and going to Help > Check for Updates.

  4. PDF forms using JAWS and NVDA Screen readers with latest Acrobat update

    With the latest update of Acrobat (2024.002.20895) I have been experiencing issues reading, completing, and interacting with PDF forms using both JAWS and NVDA screen readers. The screen reader keeps leaving forms mode when I'm in fields. Instead of typing into the field, it recognizes my keystrokes as JAWS commands. For example, when I try to type "Henry" in a Name field, pressing "H" makes it jump to the next heading in the document instead of typing the character(s).   5. "Import form data" via button not working

    In creating a form, adding a button, and making the action of the button to Import from data" in clicking "add", the application will not allow me so select any other file type than pdf, but even then i cannot select a file to use for data.

  6. form not loading when using e-sign

    So many issues. "Thumbnail not yet available" , using classic mode "exceeded page limit" with only a 2 page document. Switching to "new experience" you can't place signatures. So many issues. We have signed out of Adobe and signed back in. Uninstalled Adobe and Creative Cloud. Signed back in. Please please fix this soon as we have employees that need this to do their daily work

  7. Search inside graphic selects extraneous text

    Searching for item as shown, when it finds it in the graphic it selects extra text! (Is there no check that the selection only includes the search and then trims if necessary?)

  10. Bug: Redaction incorrectly hides text outside of redacted area

    Redaction hides (but does not remove) text outside of the redacted area in certain cases when:

    • A clipping path is set around the content, leaving the outside clipped away
    • The clipping path uses the even-odd rule
    • The clipping path is set while a non-identity transformation matrix is active
    • Before the visible objects are defined the CTM is restored to the identity matrix by concatenating the inverse CTM (rather than restoring the graphics state)

    Steps to reproduce:
    * Open one of the attached files in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC
    * Use the redaction tool to remove the word "Hello"

  11. Bug report: Acrobat Pro DC on Mac mangles format when text color is changed

    When attempting to change the color of some text in Acrobat Pro DC, the text format is sometimes badly messed up. This happens with text from Acrobat's OCR as well as text imported from other applications. I'm attaching a file that shows both of these cases. To reproduce the problem, open the file in Acrobat Pro DC (on Mac), select Edit PDF, select all of the text on the page, and change the color of the text to black - the text format will get badly mangled when the color is changed.   12. Selecting Multiple Text Boxes and Shapes Easily

    Why is it so difficult to select shapes and text boxes? It would be so useful to select multiple text boxes and shapes to copy and paste. It is ridiculous how difficult simple tasks like this is.

  16. Acrobat Freezes when trying to edit text color in PDF Document

    I'm using the latest version of Acrobat on a MacPro. Text is recognized in the pdf document.
    I want to change the text color to black for better visibility. When starting in Acrobat, I can highlight text in the first text box and change to black.
    Then the program freezes. Using "Force Quit", of course, loses all changes.
    Help!
    I believe this function with acrobat could be quite valuable. MANY brochures have lighly colored text on a white background--not legible! This feature COULD be valuable own a continuing basis!

  17. Cannot enter calculations for fields

    It is a Bug, not an idea.

    When trying to insert a calculation into a form field to show the new date (also with other simple calculations), for example

    var f = this.getField("Heute");
    f.value = util.printd("d.m.yyyy",new Date());

    I can insert it, but when clicking OK the field is empty and nothing calculates.

    There seems to be an error, snce this has worked befor – or I am doing it wrong, but I cannot see how.

    Any ideas?

  18. white box around text - Adobe Acrobat Pro DC

    I've got some text layers 95% opacity with drop shadow applied on Illustrator. Those Ai files are linked into a Indesign doc, exported as PDF but when I view the artworks on Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (version attached) there is a white box around the text. This only happens on Adobe Acrobat. If I use Mac Preview it looks fine. I can only fix the issue if I make the text layer 100% opacity in Illustrator. This bug only happens when the doc is viewed on any zooms that are 100% or less. It looks fine on 125% or…

  19. Hate New E-Sign Functionality

    Absolutely HATE the new Adobe Sign. It takes me at least 3 times longer to send a document for e-signatures. Before the update, Adobe knew where I wanted text, signatures, and the date signed. Now I have to change the field type every single time I insert a field, the date is some crazy format that I have to change every time, and even if I click "Date Signed" it always just puts a "date" field in that I have to delete and insert the date signed field again. Please change it back!

  20. Opacity

    Since updating to High Sierra, I have been unable to adjust the color opacity when filling in color for text/form boxes. The "Colors" box used to have something at the bottom for adjusting the opacity, and, since the opacity is turned all the way up by default, I have no way of actually filling in these boxes with color.
