  1. Hi,

    The date format using Adobe Form doesn't get carried forward to Adobe Sign. With the volume I am working with, it is just not possible to manually change dates in the form each time as there are several dates in the form and I have to send a large volume of the forms in one go. I tried using the script "Text1es:signr1:isdate(format=dd/mm/yyyy)" in Prepare form under Custom Calculation Field and it doesnt work. I tried locking the format and it doesnt work either. This is causing so much problem and…

  2. Adobe Acrobat. If i use Edit PDF it scrambles the hand written text in the PDF. Not the type, only the hand written text. Please fix.

  3. Every time I've used the Edit feature in the last few weeks, it has corrupted the text. Worked fine before that.

  4. Bug Report - In JavaScript, it's common practice to format the code to make it more readable by using the TAB key to indent text. This has worked fine in all previous versions of Adobe Acrobat that I've used. However, in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, pressing the TAB key moves the text to the right once, as it should, but then the focus moves to the OK button to close the Editor. The focus should stay in the Editor so TAB can be pressed again to move the text further to the right. It is EXTREMELY inconvenient to…

  5. PDF Docs that I could highlight are no longer able to highlight. When I drag the highlighter icon over text, the text will gray highlight, but after release of the click/drag. the text returns to normal, with no highlight.

  6. It should be simple to create a method by which two or more consecutive text boxes can be linked in a chain. This would allow a user to continue typing from the end of one line onto the next without having to hit Tab or click into the subsequent box. In other words, continuous entry.

    The closest option to this that exists at present is Multiline, but that is useful only for text areas that completely align from left to right. That, of course, is not always the case with real-world forms, and it seems time for a more…

  7. It would be very helpful if in the "Merge to Adobe PDF" function/plugin under Mailings in Microsoft Word to be able to specify a filename from the fields of my dataset. In other words, I would like to be able to have a column in my dataset that the plugin uses for naming files. It's horrible having to rename a hundred documents if you want to distribute PDFs.

  8. So many issues. "Thumbnail not yet available" , using classic mode "exceeded page limit" with only a 2 page document. Switching to "new experience" you can't place signatures. So many issues. We have signed out of Adobe and signed back in. Uninstalled Adobe and Creative Cloud. Signed back in. Please please fix this soon as we have employees that need this to do their daily work

  9. I've spent most of a week adding text to this pdf and saving it to my hard drive. Today when I opened it, all of the additions were corrupted or missing! Unless there is a trick to recovering this document, I've lost a week of work!!

    The information is sensitive so it is not possible to attach the file.

  10. Can you please add the ability to let the user set a different 'default' font type, size, colour when creating forms? It adds significantly to the time used creating forms to have to change the font for every single text/field added.

  11. It is a Bug, not an idea.

    When trying to insert a calculation into a form field to show the new date (also with other simple calculations), for example

    var f = this.getField("Heute");
    f.value = util.printd("d.m.yyyy",new Date());

    I can insert it, but when clicking OK the field is empty and nothing calculates.

    There seems to be an error, snce this has worked befor – or I am doing it wrong, but I cannot see how.

    Any ideas?

  12. How come I cannot access text box properties - the online help text tells me to use text box properties to set the border and color and background - and the dialog to do so in not accessible with the 2024 version I have I would provide the number but the about popup denies me the ability to get the number for you

  13. When adding an empty text box (by accident for example), which has no text and no spaces, it still gets saved and displayed in the list of comments. It should be deleted/discarded automatically.

  14. I create 100 page accessible pdfs which include, white text on coloured backgrounds. One of the tests I do in Acrobat is to view the document in reflow mode, I understand I have to change the colour of the white text to another colour in the Accessibility Preferences, it would be best viewed as black text on a white background which is one of the choices. It does not work, I am also having some trouble getting the text to even shown up clearly when selecting one of the other choices yellow on green etc. but most of all I…

  15. Bug is in the Properties window. If you enter something in the Name field, select all, and hit the tab key to go to Tooltip to paste that in there, Acrobat jumps to the next Field in the order instead of the next entry.

  16. Text entered using the Commenting feature shows up with some level of transparency less than 100% - I would guess it is 50-60% transparent. And I can't adjust it to show 100%. in order to get 100% black or colored text, I need to use the Editing feature.

  17. When changing an existing text box font color from the default color to a different color, the next time I open and use a text box, the font color is whatever color I last used.

    This is a nuisance, make it stop, if I set up a 'set as default' the font color for any 'new' text should stay that color, no matter if I change the font color later or not.

    The font color has different meanings (Actionable inputs) associated with the colors, when the action has been accomplished, I change the font color, this doesn't mean I want…

  19. I've got some text layers 95% opacity with drop shadow applied on Illustrator. Those Ai files are linked into a Indesign doc, exported as PDF but when I view the artworks on Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (version attached) there is a white box around the text. This only happens on Adobe Acrobat. If I use Mac Preview it looks fine. I can only fix the issue if I make the text layer 100% opacity in Illustrator. This bug only happens when the doc is viewed on any zooms that are 100% or less. It looks fine on 125% or…

  20. Links that are embedded in the original article do transfer to the PDF and are discoverable when hovering over. Optimal would be to be able to change the link text color to blue. Right now, the options allow creating a visible blue outline around the link, though there is not an option to change the link text for the existing link itself to blue
