Chrome Adobe Extension, Auto font size on rotated pages bug
Steps to reproduce: (Windows 11 environment)
1. Create a pdf in Adobe Acrobat Pro (Version 24.1) with the page rotated clockwise, aka "landscape"
2. Use prepare form tool to add a fillable text field, set the field properties so that font size is "Auto"
3. Save, and open in chrome using the Adobe Acrobat extension (Ver 24.8.1.1)When entering text, it does not fill the whole field and the font size reduces abruptly. Behavior is not seen in built-in chrome pdf handling, or in Acrobat Windows App.

Every time I've used the Edit feature in the last few weeks, it has corrupted the text. Worked fine before that.

Please add Insert text at cursor tool to cloud commenting
Cloud commenting from Acrobat and InDesign is an amazing idea but it feels hobbled without the insert text at cursor tool, particularly for reviewing text heavy documents. Please consider expanding the commenting functions available to cloud reviewers.

Hate New E-Sign Functionality
Absolutely HATE the new Adobe Sign. It takes me at least 3 times longer to send a document for e-signatures. Before the update, Adobe knew where I wanted text, signatures, and the date signed. Now I have to change the field type every single time I insert a field, the date is some crazy format that I have to change every time, and even if I click "Date Signed" it always just puts a "date" field in that I have to delete and insert the date signed field again. Please change it back!

Text edits corrupted after saving.
I've spent most of a week adding text to this pdf and saving it to my hard drive. Today when I opened it, all of the additions were corrupted or missing! Unless there is a trick to recovering this document, I've lost a week of work!!
The information is sensitive so it is not possible to attach the file.

Bug report: Acrobat Pro DC on Mac mangles format when text color is changed
When attempting to change the color of some text in Acrobat Pro DC, the text format is sometimes badly messed up. This happens with text from Acrobat's OCR as well as text imported from other applications. I'm attaching a file that shows both of these cases. To reproduce the problem, open the file in Acrobat Pro DC (on Mac), select Edit PDF, select all of the text on the page, and change the color of the text to black - the text format will get badly mangled when the color is changed. Very frustrating! Changing the color should…

Acrobat Pro DC – Text Watermark Font Bug
Mac OS X 10.13.6
Acrobat Pro DC – Version 2021.001.20138Inserting a text watermark using the Helvetica Neue font enters a series of boxes instead of the text. All weights and slopes affected except, bizarrely, the ‘Thin’ weight.
Inserting text using the Helvetica Font produces the error message “The font ‘Helvetica,Xxxx’ contains an invalid encoding. Some characters may not display correctly”. This error message appears on saving the PDF and every time it is opened in Acrobat Reader DC.
Both fonts are system fonts and work satisfactorily in all applications (e.g. InDesign, Word) including Acrobat Pro DC, but not…

default font color for text boxes changes to last used color instead of staying the user defined "mark as default" color
When changing an existing text box font color from the default color to a different color, the next time I open and use a text box, the font color is whatever color I last used.
This is a nuisance, make it stop, if I set up a 'set as default' the font color for any 'new' text should stay that color, no matter if I change the font color later or not.
The font color has different meanings (Actionable inputs) associated with the colors, when the action has been accomplished, I change the font color, this doesn't mean I want…

We can't mark something in OCR as "not text" anymore in the new UX/UI
I'm trying Acrobat Pro and it seems that the new UI that we can try doesn't allow me to correct OCR by marking something as "not text". With the old UI, you can simply erase the garbage text next to the picture, and press "OK" or whatever, then this part of the document stops being considered as text.

White text not exporting into word document
When exporting from PDF to word, I lose all the white text on a white background which we use as anchors for our docusign process. Is there a way to keep the white text on export?

Accessibility Check Alt Text suggestion
When I use Accessibility Check, the document is scanned for shapes that need Alt Text. The algorithm is too sensitive. It picks up small things like bullets, hole punches, lines from shadows and a lot of stuff that winds up being marked as "decorative" that really don't need any alt text. It would be great of the algorithm were tweaked just a bit so that it figures out the area of each shape and if the area doesn't meet a minimum threshold, the algorithm doesn't flag it as needing alt-text. Perhaps a setting would let the…
1 voteHi,
The suggestion provided by you has been shared to the higher management. Unfortunately, no threshold can be set for the images we are checking the pdfs as per the standards. We have set them as decorative or provide an Alt text to define them.Feel free to contact us in case of any issue.
Thanks

Comment Function - text shows <100% transparent
Text entered using the Commenting feature shows up with some level of transparency less than 100% - I would guess it is 50-60% transparent. And I can't adjust it to show 100%. in order to get 100% black or colored text, I need to use the Editing feature.

Unable to repeat Initial field across all pages
The latest update to the e-signature feature lacks the ability to automatically replicate the 'initial' field across all pages. This functionality was readily available in the previous version with a simple button click. The absence of this feature renders the e-signature process highly inefficient for businesses, as it now necessitates the manual insertion of initials on each page.

Add "add text comment" (without a border) tool back to new August 2023 Acrobat experience
I can't find "add text comment" (without a border) tool in August 2023 Acrobat.
When I choose another similar sounding tool called "insert text comment" and clicking on a newly-created blank page, nothing happens. (I don't know what this for in either old or new version. It may have something to do with cursor?)
Workaround is to use "add text comment" (with a border), change properties to always have no border displayed and resize the border after typing.
The old version behavior of "add text comment" appeared to add text at position clicked on a page and then flowed right…

Increasing the thickness of displayed text in macOS
The thickness of displayed text in macOS is very thin compared to native program like preview making it very hard to read, specially with math equations. All current options for increasing the text thickness do not help. Could you please allow users to increase the text thickness?
