Multiple signature lines in a single document
I sign many documents that have multiple signature lines throughout the document. I read the first section and click sign ... no problems (#1). Then I read the second section. Once I'm comfortable with the text, I click to sign (#2) and it moves me back to my previous signature (#1). I have to scroll back down to the second signature line again and click to sign it again (my previous attempt did not sign, it just moved me backwards in the document). I spent an hour on the phone with support and they said the feature is only meant to be used where you use the "next" button to get to the next signature line. But then I'm signing without ever having read the document I'm signing (I like to know what I'm signing!). This issue happens roughly every other time I click "sign" so it doesn't seem like it's working the way it was intended. Very annoying.

file attachment in sign
I should be able to attach a doc, xls or any file type in a document for signing. It would be nice if I send a document for signing with the original source together with it, would it not?

Allow the possibility of moving the Find Dialog Box out of the text window. As it is, the the box obscures part of the text I'm reading, which I find very annoying.

Improved MacOS "spoken content" functionality in Acrobat for Mac
The text reader in MacOS is not a typical screen reader, but it does provide easy, fast access to spoken content from on-screen text. Unfortunately, it does not work with Adobe Acrobat. Ideally, it would speak selected text with a keyboard shortcut, but only reads the document name in Adobe Acrobat. The Acrobat screen reader is difficult to use, does not read selected text, and often fails due to pdf accessibility issues.
5 votesHi,
I understand the issue faced by you. Read Out Loud is not a screen reader provided by Acrobat but a feature to read the pdf.
You can user VoiceOver on MacOS which is a Screen Reader supported by Apple. You can easily find the shortcuts at https://www.apple.com/voiceover/info/guide/_1131.htmlI hope this would help you in resolving the issue.
Thanks

"Merge to Adobe PDF" in Microsoft Word Filename Field
It would be very helpful if in the "Merge to Adobe PDF" function/plugin under Mailings in Microsoft Word to be able to specify a filename from the fields of my dataset. In other words, I would like to be able to have a column in my dataset that the plugin uses for naming files. It's horrible having to rename a hundred documents if you want to distribute PDFs.

Thanks for your feature request. We have taken a note of it and it will be prioritized based on other backlog items.

Option to Set Date format in Audit Trail
There should be an option to change the date format of Audit Trail. Currently it is set as YYYY MM DD
Due to this, documents are being rejected in UK Courts, as they need it in DD MM YYYY format.2 votes -

Reflow View - file corruption, pages gets "stuck" in reflow View or change orientation
Have had problem with several files becoming corrupted by using Reflow View. Two things happen:
1. Some pages get "stuck" in reflow even after closing and reopening the file.
2. The format of some pages changes to Portrait or other design changes occur.3 votesHi Rae,
I checked the details provided by you. There is no issue here. If you open the original file and click on Actual Size in menu, you will see the same exact view that you see after reflow. The view is actually shown in actual size after reflow.
Keep the view in Zoom to Page Level to see the full page view. Please confirm if this resolves your concerns.
Thanks

Use OCR to fill out forms
I am a photographer, (amongst other things), and want to use an Adobe product to create a photography consent form to be used in situations such as festivals and concerts. The key is, I want to be able to simply scan a person’s ID using OCR to fill the form, and then get a signature. A 30 second process, instead of 5 minutes babysitting someone filling out a form manually on an iPad. There are much lesser companies offering forms that can be filled out with OCR, but being an Adobe user, I am very surprised this functionality does not exist in some form, in one of your apps. I don’t have time to babysit people filling out forms every time I take a photo.

Add multiple choice for drop down
Add the functionality of a multiple choice drop down box to allow users to enter a number of options and have more than one selected. This should be available via list boxes however it does not work.

Add "Save" button option to the "Save As" window
Can we have a 'Save' option in the window where you reduce the file size/save the file as a different name? It seems a waste of time that the designated folder path is already highlighted, then you have to click on it again to initiate the save process and it then pops up the window AGAIN to show you the pathway. Surely, if the pathway is already highlighted, you should have the option to just save the file directly to it?

Immersive Reader vs. Acrobat Read Out Loud Audio
Microsoft Word 365 has an immersive reader where the text is read out loud while panning and highlighting the text being read with options such as WPM adjustment. Trying to use the Read Out Loud function in Adobe Acrobat Reader is painful. It is hard to find, the synthetic voice is unpleasant and disruptive, and overall the accessibility for this feature seems to be the bare minimum. PDF's are the format of choice for scientific papers, which are rather dry reading material. An option to listen, following along while reading would greatly increase the efficacy of this program. I've personally been converting the PDFs to a Word Document and then using the immersive reader, but this workaround is imperfect as the conversion does not always result in a legible document, and alienates users from the native Adobe program. This program is in desperate need of updates to expand document accessibility to persons that may have impaired vision, ADHD, Dyslexia, etc.

5 votesHi,
I understand the issue faced by you here. I can help you with some of the functionalities fo ROL.
1. Finding ROL : It can be found in View Menu → ROL → Activate ROL – > Read the document. Alternatively, you can use keyboard shortcut also i.e. Ctrl+Shift+Y(activate) then, Ctrl+Shift+V/B (read the document)2. Secondly to change the voice you can install the voices from the system language setting and they will appear in Adobe Preferences → Reading → Under ROL setting. You can change it as per your convenience. You can also change Speed, Pitch go the ROL as well.
Having said that, we understand that the ROL is not a screen reader but a support given by the Adobe for reading the pdfs. We’re continuously working on this to make it better for our users.
I hope I have resolved the issues faced by you.
Thanks

fit height view setting iremoved from toolbar
when you open a document in acrobat pro DC, it defaults to view full page width. not terribly helpful 99.99% of the time. i always went straight for the toolbar to hit the 'fit height' setting to view the entire page instead. well, seems that an update had taken that option and had hidden it. you now have to go digging for it in the view menu, which takes longer than a quick flip of a button on the toolbar.
i have also noticed that a lot of the lesser-used settings for viewing pages have replaced this simple and helpful setting, making it all the more perplexing as to just what the justification for doing that really was.
are we going to have the most commonly utilized functions hidden and all the least-used features prominently displayed from now on?

Acrobat DC Bug Report
I'm frustrated that I pay every month to have a license for Adobe DC as part of my bundle of Adobe products and it is unstable, unreliable and full of bugs. Today, when opening up the program I was notified that my trial for DC had ended - HOWEVER, I am not on a trial, I am on year #4 of my paid subscription!! Now, features I had are gone, the Prepare Form function no longer works, I cannot create fillable PDFs (a service I get paid to do!)
How can I justify paying every month for something that does not perform?

Adding/Headers and Footers
Please consider combining the Page Number and date format and Page Range Options into the existing Add Header Footer Window or at least a single pop-up, rather than two separate ones. They reduce the efficiency and accuracy with which the tack can be performed. Do you intend to make your software less efficient and error prone?? Because if so you have succeeded!! CONGRATULATIONS!
For example, when I need to add page numbers to 61 sets of numerous pages on the footer, that means according to your current set-up with the pop-up for page number and date format, and the second pop-up for the page range, I have to complete not 63 windows, but 186 pop-up windows so I figure this task takes 3 times as long as it needs to!! WHY?? It seems ridiculous that I have to take extra time to pop open these additional windows each time when I could easily type this information in the existing window. Opening these windows and having the information hidden from view also make the process more prone to error which means more chance of having to redo a set of footers or the ENTIRE file as certain tasks in the header/footer section can't be undone.

Adobe Acrobat Pro DC macOS text rendering seems a little thin on HiDPI monitors
Hello,
I've been wondering about this for a long time, and I finally found this forum to post about it.
So, I'm using macOS Big Sur 11.5.2, and Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2021.005.20058.
Looking at the same pdf file using Acrobat Pro and Apple's Preview, one can appreciate some difference in the text rendering as shown in the attached screenshot.
Now, what is going on here?
Which rendering is the correct rendering?
The text in Acrobat Pro DC at 100% zoom seems a little thin, but this is improved at 200% zoom.
I've compared the screen renderings to paper print out, and it seems the Acrobat rendering is little thin, and the Preview rendering is little thick.
