  1. Adobe Acrobat Pro version 2023.003.20215 on Windows 11 version 22621.1848 is resetting the registry key "aDefaultSelect" value to "Select" on each launch of Acrobat Pro. This prevents users from setting the Hand tool as the default tool. Requested action is to remove this behavior.

  2. Quicktools – Allow FULL customization.
    The top 6 tools are not default. They are mandatory. I cannot remove them from my quicktools bar. This is extremely frustrating. Of those six, I've only ever used two (select text & highlight).
    Please allow full customization of the "quick toolbar" !

  3. We are testing a PDF, created with Acrobat pro DC. The hyperlinks work on our desktop PC's. All hyperlinks, except for the email hyperlink, work on iphone 4 and i phone 8. We are using current Acrobat reader app as default reader. please help.

  4. I purchased the Adobe PDF Pack in August 2018 but now, each time I try to convert a file, I get a message saying that my trial has expired and I must buy to continue. Please tell me how to fix this or return the money I paid. Thank you.

  5. Every time I follow a link from Acrobat that takes me to the Adobe website, I get a message saying that the page doesn't match my country. I have an account on your server and I'm logged in on the app so why can't you show the right country?

  7. My default is page width. From there I click on single page view but nothing happens. If I click on the 2 page side by side view and then the single page view if changes to single page view but NOT directly from the page width view.

  8. Even in the latest public beta of MacOS 11, overall performance of Acrobat is sluggish. The app may take over a second to respond to a page scroll request via track pad and scrolling will be choppy.

  9. Been working and editing a pdf for a week now. All of a sudden I get this message: "This form cannot be edited in Adobe Acrobat DC. Please use Adobe LiveCycle Designer to edit this form." Please let me know whats going on with this. I see no other place to address this, Thanks

  10. The batch OCR feature is simply not fit for purpose and needs completely replacing.

    1. When performing a batch OCR the application is entirely locked into the process and is unable to do any other tasks. Acrobat installs itself as the default PDF viewer, so you cannot even view a PDF by default when the OCR process is running. There needs to be a way to run these batch processes as true background tasks that do not interfere with other Acrobat functions, or the ability to open multiple instances of Acrobat.

  12. Everything about the new update is worse than the previous version. I get terrible slowdown and "not responding" messages literally every time I use it, and the FIND function in particular has been ruined. It barely works, and constantly shifts itself out of the search bar. PLEASE REVERT THIS FUTURE TO THE WAY IT USED TO BE. Otherwise the software is almost unusuable.

  13. I keep getting an error message "Adobe Acrobat ! Out Of Memory" on brand new Dell XPS 8930.
    Seems to occur after having multiple pdf files open at the same time.

    I have never experienced his with X Pro. on my 10 year old HP PC, which i'm still using due to this issue.
    Please help.

  14. Hello,
    Concerning the floating black tool bar that shows up when text is selected, it currently has only 5 functions (Highlight, Underline, Strike through, Copy & Edit text-images).
    My requests:
    1. Kindly make it customizable, so that users can add whatever buttons they like.
    2. Especially, make it such that users can add anything from 3-5 highlighters of different colors, so that I will not have to go through the tedious task of changing the color of the highlighter each time I want it changed.

Pontificating that there must be a "newbie user" segment who needs extra assistance in using Acrobat, I ask that you please remember you have a multitude of Perennial Power Users who don't need the constant hand holding, introductions, or reminders in pop ups. My efficiency is being damaged by the interruptions. While presenting in meetings, these pops ups are unprofessional and actually drove me to choose to default to opening PDFs in Microsoft Word. Yes.   16. Adobe Acrobat will not combine files into single document..
    When trying to combine multiple pdf files into a single pdf file the attached message appears and the 2nd file is repeated for all of the remaining files.
    When we follow the error shown path and still not able to combine pdf.

  17. Our organization uses SharePoint Online provided through Office 365 hosting. SharePoint is the primary location to store files.

    It's possible to use Acrobat to open documents from SharePoint, edit them and save those changes back to the SharePoint server.

    If we open a new PDF with Acrobat, then attempt to save over an existing file on our SharePoint server, we encounter the following error:

    Adobe Acrobat could not access the network. Please verify your computer's network connection and try again.

  18. I would like, if I have a file open with, for example, the Comment toolbar opened, I would like other files opened in the same window to also open with the Comment toolbar open.

    This does not need to be set as a default when loading the first file, nor does it need to override the toolbar setting in each tab when I change tools; just when I open a new file, I don't want to have to reopen the same tool I'm using in the tab I already have open.

  19. I have install Acrobat Pro DC. I go to print production to use preflight but i can΄t . I receive a message : "Preflight is getting installed. Please wait to use this tool". Nothing happend. I wait all day (up to 12hours) and i receive again and again the same responce. Any ideas? Thanks

  20. Steps to reproduce: Click mail button in Acrobat Reader DC, opens email with pdf as attachment in Outlook, close acrobat.
    Observed result: After closing Acrobat error message pops up with Adobe Acrobat 32MAPIBroker has stopped working.
    Expected result: After closing Acrobat should not see error message.
