  1. Please enable the ability to save multiple commenting styles similar to PDF Xchange by Tracker. It is very helpful to have a few different styles set up so I can, for example, use connected line tools to highlight several different things on a drawing in different colors, thickness, opacity.

  2. If there are no open PDFs, there is no reason for Acrobat to open the next PDF in the next staggered position as occurs when opening multiple PDFs at the same time. It interferes with open tools I like to keep on the right side of the screen.

  3. When converting, printing, or saving a document to PDF, Adobe Acrobat creates "white margins" on each conversion. To remove the extra margins you have to follow these steps for every document:

    1. Open PDF in Acrobat
    2. Select More Tools
    3. Select Print Production
    4. Select Set Page Boxes
    5. Check Remove White Margins

    This will remove the white margins created by Adobe and use the margins of the original document. I'm told from Adobe Support there isn't a way to permanently set a user preference to prevent adding white margins. Please enable this function as it is currently a pain to have to change…

  5. I think it would be beneficial to allow users to set colors for specific commenting tools or tools in general (strike through, text box, line, rectangle etc.) based off a selected profile. I am constantly switching specific tools between blue green or red based on the task, document, or customer i am working with. Allowing a quick change profile selection ( can also include signatures etc.) would allow people to have a real customizable system. If you are working contract for multiple companies doing side jobs this can let you keep track of each profile and their requirements for colors…

  6. Need tool to "Search for hyperlinks in documents":

    Description of desired feature: Search tool: advanced search, search for: "http" or "weburlstring" etc. even if it is a hyperlink that doesn't have that displayed.
    Why the feature is needed: it's 2024, we should be able to search for things in the PDF that I can manually search for.

  7. The introduction of what I'll dub the "save helper" is one of the dumbest ideas I've ever seen implemented in a well known software. In no circumstance does it do anything than take more time since you have to open a file dialog no matter what you click - all it does is introduce another impediment to workflow.

    The best thing to do is remove this "feature" and have it actually default to where you opened the file from! You know, like software has been doing for the last 30 years?

  8. The user experience of using the Accessibility tags feature is unacceptably inefficient. Consider that the user might need to tag hundreds of documents, themselves hundreds of pages. Try this yourself, or observe someone else trying it. You should quickly see how unnecessarily slow and tedious the workflow is, using these tools. Dragging little tiny icons around in the sidebar panel is slow, difficult, and often inaccurate.   10. I believe previous versions of Adobe Acrobat had a "delete blank pages" options in the tools section that I used when scanning with Adobe. I cannot find this option in the new version. It was a very useful tool, and I would like it back. Using "extract" is not the same and not nearly as convenient, especially in a long document.

  13. BUG: PowerPoint Acrobat Add-in fails to render shapes drawn with the Drawing tools. These are the tools in the DRAW tab, pens and pencils, etc. If using the Acrobat added commands in the PPT UI, drawn shapes aren't rendered in the PDF. PowerPoint's native PDF writing works fine, it does have a checkbox to control drawn object rendering which Acrobat ignores. Sample files included.

  15. Hi

    I produce this pdf file, so that at a later date i can change the date. I've selected the edit tool in adobe pro and when i start to type in the date i want, the text moves from the bottom of the page to half way up the page. (as you will see from the pdf file attached)

    I am doing this on a windows 7 machine.

    On the other pages i dont have a problem. The pages of pdf are set up the same way, so I'm unclear as to what the problem is with this page.

  16. Bug Fix needed: Comments Tool Opens automatically when I open any PDF. This is annoying and tedious to have to close it every time I open another PDF. Please fix this and stop Comments Tool from opening automatically.

  17. To ensure that assistive technologies can parse tables, headers that are repeated across pages should be marked as artifacts. This is recommended by the PDF Association's Tagged PDF Best Practice Guide: Syntax: https://www.pdfa.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/TaggedPDFBestPracticeGuideSyntax.pdf . However, this structure is not followed by PDFMaker when converting from Word to PDF.

    Steps to reproduce the issue
    1. Open the attached Word document.
    2. Go to Acrobat > Create PDF.
    3. Press Save.
    4. Open the resulting PDF (also attached).
    5. Open the Tags panel (View > Show/Hide > Navigation Panes > Tags).
    6. Expand the <Table> tag.

  18. I would really like the old layout back. The tool bar being moved from the top to the side bar and not even being possible to move takes away the symmetry of the layout and is super disturbing for my reading.

  19. Your new interface update is horrible. I understand the need for simplification the attempt to make things easier for the end user, but not every one has the same needs. I don't NEED a tool bar that I can't get rid of or at least customize for my needs. I need a program that will give me the option to select and de-select the functions I use on a daily basis. I don't care about e-sign, but I would like to have an icon to organize pages with out having to go through two or three menus.

  20. There used to be a great feature where you could click a box to "keep tool selected" so you keep using the same tool, over and over again without clicking on the Icon again and again and again. It was especially useful when reviewing a large document where you wanted to highlight several passages or for adding text, etc.
