Acrobat Pro continually updating key features, never finishes
How about you correct this issue? For the past month or two I've been seeing this problem. It never gets beyond (or below) 90%, and every once in a while it pops up with this notice. I can't figure out how to get it to finish or to disable the update process.

Very slow pdf thumb display
Hi,
The last 64-bit version of Adobe Acrobat DC has introduced the possible display in Windows explorer of the file thumb. Great, BUT it is extraordinarily slow and in practice unusable (in particular in the Windows 10 welcome screen of the explorer, showing the recently opened files: it seems that the cache is rebuilt every new session).
So, please make the appropriate changes in the program to speedup this display, which is very useful.
Thanks in advance.
P.S. For your information, I work on a DELL XPS desktop with an NVidia GTX 970 graphics display card and my main drive…

Print Setting - Custom Scale - Bug Report
custom scale is not properly centering the scaled document in the latest acrobat reader update. Custom scale is positioning the scaled document into the upper top left and left side; and truncating the upper left top and side. Applies to print to file as well as physical printer.

Review
Now the new update makes Reader compact and the UI looks cool. But I feel bookmarking tabs could have been placed on the left side of the screen as it makes access to it much easier. The full-screen mode has also become better.

Make giant annoying window go away. I don't want it. EVER. Especially when PDFs are closed. It dominates my desktop, makes me hate Adobe.
Make the giant splash screen close when documents close. Also make it default to a SMALLER size if I have resized it in a previous session. Stop making your software overbearing.

You just keep making it harder
Everytime you make an update you make it harder for me to find my edit document button. I just opened one and absolutely none of the icons or right click provides me with edit. Finally I find if I highlight text THEN hit right click I get the menu that allows me to edit. Why take down the one in the header and make me have to do additional steps (highlighting) to be able to edit. I hate when companies adopt the Microsoft culture of calling "improvements" just moving essential commands and options around and saying it's new. At…

Acrobat Pro DC
The Highlighter yellow is very faint since the last update. It comes full color when drawing but upon release of the mouse button it fades away.

Toolbar icons keep changing/moving/disappearing
Step back in functionality and hugely annoying--icons take up too much room, and seem to move/float around. I just had to add the "view one page" and "view full width" icons (side by side, BTW) to my toolbar, when they had been there just a few days ago.

Easy edit of toolbar
I can't see/figure out how to add the "sign pdf" icon into the main toolbar. Frustrating to click 3-4 times to just get that "tool" to show up.

Icons for 'Distribute Horizontally' and 'Distribute Vertically' are mislabelled
This has been reported before, but is still wrong in the latest version of Acrobat. The icons for 'Distribute Horizontally' and 'Distribute Vertically' are labelled the wrong way around. They function correctly when clicked; it's just the symbols that are wrong. If you look at the same feature in InDesign and Illustrator, you'll see that Acrobat does not match.

Printing locally from Adobe Acrobat Pro DC has never worked despite multiple "fixes"
I have CC full suite and from the day I had to install Adobe Acrobat Pro DC I have been unable to print locally from any open PDF. I have tried multiple fixes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. I've updated the printer drivers and had my IT support look at it. And now that this program is embedded in everything, I can't event go back to Acrobat XI. If I'm lucky I can export the PDF as an image or word document and print from there, but if I'm looking at document that's large that is just…

Why does basic functionality in Acrobat Pro DC cause 11+ bloatware processes to run in the background?
I finally bit the bullet and started paying for Acrobat, but the incredible number of mysterious background processes named things like "Creative Cloud Helper," "CCXProcess," "Core Sync," CCLibrary," "Adobe Desktop Service," and not one but 4 apps named "Core Sync Helper" are making me reconsider. They have worsened my battery life and I have security concerns about these ambiguously—named apps constantly dancing up and down my Activity Monitor. I refuse to believe they are necessary to view a PDF. I run MacOS Big Sur.

Filter by unchecked should be a default filter
Seriously, the new Acrobat design hides the checked/unchecked options from the Comment filter until you check one. Also, to check a comment you have to right-click it now where in previous versions of Acrobat it was an actual checkbox you clicked. Just put it back the way it was Adobe!

esign
Adobe esign is completely broke with recent update on forms that are filled out and then sent for signature. After filling out the form, then click send for signature, everything gets wiped out, and all that is left is a "text" box. There was a work around by using the online portal and dropping the filled form into the loader, but now that's broke too. The only fill and send for signature means we have is through the mobile app, but I am sure that will be broke soon too as they continue to push this latest update. This…

Allow signers to be removed if they have not yet signed
I understand protecting a document after a signer(s) has completed his/her signature. However, pdf creator should be able to remove a signer(s) should their signature no longer be required (based on the signer not signing the pdf yet). Additionally, this functionality should be doable on desktop software vs forcing user to do it online/cloud.

Flexible Navigation Pane, Page Control & Toolbar Docking
I use dual 32" monitors for CAD. In version 2023-008-20470 this results is 8" of dead space on each side of a 8-1/2" x 11" PDF . While I like the smaller icons of the latest release, it is infuriating that I cannot place the toolbar, navigation pane, and page controls (Pg#, zoom, magnification, etc.) across the top where they would be most efficient to access in my situation. Their fixed positions on the sides of the screen might be acceptable to laptop users, but it is very inefficient on large monitors.

Prepare Form feature to be able to identify a date and apply date box formatting
The ability to prepare a form from a scanned document (or PDF that had no form elements on it) is a great feature, and if the instructions from https://acrobatusers.com/assets/collections/tutorials/legacy/id_2263/acro9_designforms.pdf are followed, makes it easy to turn a flat document into a fillable form.
However, I believe a feature of this has been overlooked since the introduction of the date style form, and that is the ability for the prepare form feature to recognise a date and apply the date style form.
My request is to update the prepare form feature so that something that resembles a date field is given…
