  2. Adobe esign is completely broke with recent update on forms that are filled out and then sent for signature. After filling out the form, then click send for signature, everything gets wiped out, and all that is left is a "text" box. There was a work around by using the online portal and dropping the filled form into the loader, but now that's broke too. The only fill and send for signature means we have is through the mobile app, but I am sure that will be broke soon too as they continue to push this latest update. This…

  3. I finally bit the bullet and started paying for Acrobat, but the incredible number of mysterious background processes named things like "Creative Cloud Helper," "CCXProcess," "Core Sync," CCLibrary," "Adobe Desktop Service," and not one but 4 apps named "Core Sync Helper" are making me reconsider. They have worsened my battery life and I have security concerns about these ambiguously—named apps constantly dancing up and down my Activity Monitor. I refuse to believe they are necessary to view a PDF. I run MacOS Big Sur.

  4. My problem is I audit large documents, usually multiple page documents scanned in pdf files. I often find the documents have been scanned in the wrong order ie last page first. Companies employ cheap labour and they do not care of the page order when they are scanning the document or they put it throughs the scanner the wrong way.
    A useful feature would be to have a way to reverse the order of the pages or of a number of pages very simply.

  5. When opening files in SharePoint Online in Adobe Acrobat desktop via the Adobe Acrobat for Microsoft 365 app, there are way too many clicks - three for opening and three for closing outlined below.

    It would be great if these clicks could be eliminated via preferences; the most important to eliminate would be Version Comments on Check In and the click to "Desktop" after it opens in browser Acrobat.

    1. Click on the applicable file in SharePoint in browser to open (this one make sense of course)

  6. Work in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and installed version 2021.007.20096.
    Now I can't see the guide lines when I drag lines from the rulers with the Marking Tool, I can only see the hair cross. When I click the spot I wanted the guide lines, then it shows.

    You helped me earlier today and installed an earlier version, 2020.013.20074 and the function worked again. Then when the program update it self to 2021.007.20099 the function failed again. I think this is a bug.

  7. I'm using Windows 11, 64-bit. Auto-updated the other day and now I cannot use my cursor, it turns into a large black square. I tried reverting to the prior reader version but I wasn't successful. I tried capturing a screenshot but of course the square disappears with the print screen function.

  8. I have customized the Quick Tools bar, but it only appears to the right of the other tools in one ribbon, therefore there isn't enough room for all of the custom tools to appear all the time. I am constantly having to hit the three dots to get to my most frequently used toold. I don't appear to have a way to move my quick toolbar below the other one, or to the right of the screen.

  9. I use dual 32" monitors for CAD. In version 2023-008-20470 this results is 8" of dead space on each side of a 8-1/2" x 11" PDF . While I like the smaller icons of the latest release, it is infuriating that I cannot place the toolbar, navigation pane, and page controls (Pg#, zoom, magnification, etc.) across the top where they would be most efficient to access in my situation. Their fixed positions on the sides of the screen might be acceptable to laptop users, but it is very inefficient on large monitors.

  13. I have 2 problems with the New Adobe update.
    1) There is No Way to Reverse Print so the doc does not have to be HAND Reversed to be in Readable Order on my HPOffice Jet Pro 7740.
    2) There is No way to Print Both sides on my printer HPOffice Jet Pro 7740

  16. Copy/Paste does not work with special characters (used in Spanish, French, German, Danish etc.) anymore. Instead of letters it just leaves blank spaces in the document. Here is an example:

    Copy in Acrobat Pro DC:

    "Nous vérifions volontiers la possibilité d'une telle
    production spéciale pour le cas individuel."

    Paste in any other program:

    "Nous v rifions volontiers la possibilit  d'une telle
    production sp ciale pour le cas individuel."

    I have tested this on various different computers running macOS Monterey 12.1 and Acrobat Pro DC 2021.011.20039.

  18. Before the update, Pattern designers could provide a list of layers, with one layer being one size of the pattern. This allowed printing of only one layer (size) of a pattern instead of all the sizes at once. The print preview shows the proper layers selected, but it prints all layers of the file.

  20. In order to flatten images on a Mac, I am unable to use the flattening icon. I must export the file as postscript. When I do that, it darkens all images and puts a thin outline around all text boxes and images, which ruins my product. This is for items to sell and it is seriously effecting my business.
